### Chapter 18: The New Ally
The work of the victory over Blackwood and Kane had proven to be a much-needed shot in the arm for Elara's team, but never were they so lost in jubilation that the fact escaped them that their job would not end until Hale's network was taken down. Of course, it wasn't like they ignored the after-reports; every valuable member was back at work, analyzing data, tracking leads, and readying for the next op.
The more they dug into data, the more it became apparent they needed more expertise, particularly in unraveling the complex financial transactions that funded Hale's operations. And that was when Lena mentioned an old contact who might just make all the difference.
