Sitting cross-legged on the ground, Lin Wei looked at his interface.

Lin Wei looked at his Realm first. "Primordial Qi Refinement? Isn't this just the Qi Refinement Realm that is so common in those novels?" Lin Wei said, with a weird tone. "System, isn't this Realm supposed to be unique? Are you joking with me?" Lin Wei asked the system.
"Host, the name of your current Realm and future Realms was already created by the system. The system knows that the host would not be able to think of a much better name, so the system generated the name itself. Additionally, the host didn't specify in his wish what the name of his realm should be," replied the system.
Lin Wei's face grew darker when the system insulted his naming ability. He wanted to curse the system, but managed to hold it in.
"So you are saying that my future realms would have the same idea as those common realms?" Although Lin Wei already had the answer, he still asked the system for confirmation.
"Yes, Host. The Realm of the host would start at Primordial Qi Refinement, Chaos Foundation Realm, and Primordial Core Realm. As of now, there are only 3 major Realms," confirmed the system.
Hearing such a reply, Lin Wei just shook his head. Lin Wei asked another question about how his realm compared to the standard realm of the universe, to have an idea of how strong he is. But the system simply replied that he must find it out himself.
Going forward, Lin Wei looked at his Lifespan. Seeing that it was only in the millions, he was surprised—not because of how long his lifespan was, but because of how small it was. Absorbing those energies should have elevated his lifespan into the hundreds of millions. To this, Lin Wei asked the system for an answer, but the system also didn't know why.
"System, I'm starting to think that you are a fraud," Lin Wei said to the system. If not for the power coursing through his body, he would have thought that he was becoming insane, and that the system in front of him was merely an illusion.
Lin Wei was about to check his empty Minor and Major Wishes when the people in the county started to wake up. At the same time, when the last person woke up, a system notification suddenly echoed in Lin Wei's head
"Congratulations for Host for becoming famous throughout the Dragon County city. Reward: 1 Minor Wish available," the notification sounded in Lin Wei's mind, and he looked at the 'Minor Wish' in his interface, which changed from 0 to 1.
"Since I'm already famous in the county city, then I should move on to the next location," Lin Wei continued, "but there's no need to hurry. I still have two decades to stay in this world. And before I proceed to the next place, I should also learn the Martial Realms and Power structure of this world," Lin Wei muttered, already planning out his first steps to explore this world.
"Let's find the Patriarch and delve deeper into understanding the intricacies of the Dragon Empire, all while bidding farewell to the young miss," Lin Wei muttered with a gentle smile.
Despite the warning from a fellow servant about potential consequences for disobeying the eldest young miss's orders, he brushed it off lightly. Even if the young miss were to punish him, it would just be a light punishment. After all, he and the young miss grew up together, albeit in a master and servant relationship.
Although the young miss did not like him at the beginning, they still developed a childhood friendship after being together for a decade. Throughout those years, both the young miss and the Patriarch treated him well, especially after his father died while trying to protect the Patriarch's son.
Amidst the household staff, Lin Wei found solace in the warmth of certain individuals, particularly his supervisor, who treated him like that of a kin. However, amidst the camaraderie, there were also fellow servants who despised and hated him, and Brother Ling was one of them. Although his words were nice, one must remember that what one shows to you doesn't necessarily reflect what they truly feel. In other words, the Brother Ling from before was a hypocrite. Although he gave him an amiable smile every time they meet, he hated Lin Wei to the core.
"I should revert back to my previous appearance; I still want to maintain a low profile," Lin Wei murmured as he willed the change in his appearance. This ability was one of the gifts he had awakened after reaching the Primordial Qi Refinement Realm. Now, Lin Wei could feel the power coursing through him, granting him control over every cell in his body, allowing him to alter his appearance at will.
Once he had shifted back to his previous appearance, Lin Wei cast his gaze around him. Seeing the rubble that was once his home, guilt washed over him. He knew he was the cause of this destruction.
Offering a silent apology in his heart, Lin Wei extended his spiritual senses to locate the Fang Patriarch. Once he pinpointed the patriarch's location, with a will, Lin Wei vanished from the spot where he had been sitting, his form dissipating into the air without a trace.
...
In the bustling streets of Dragon Spine County, a young man with a pallid complexion strolled among the civilians, his presence seemingly unnoticed by the throng around him. "Who would have thought that the first county I would visit would help pinpoint the location of the phenomenon," he mused aloud. "According to them, the source should be in the tail region."
Surprisingly, despite his audible words, the passersby appeared oblivious to his presence, even amidst the cacophony of the bustling street.
Turning towards a dimly lit alley, the young man halted several meters away from a towering wall barricading the path. "Aren't you going to show yourself?" he called out, his voice echoing through the darkened alleyway. When met with silence, his demeanor shifted, his eyes ablaze with a palpable aura of lethal intent.
"Since you're unwilling to come out, then just... die," he declared, his hand raised with a menacing gesture. With a swift motion, he brought his hand down in a forceful slap.
Moments later, a groan echoed through the alley followed by the thud of bodies hitting the ground. Surrounding the young man were eleven lifeless figures, each draped in black clothing from head to toe.
The young man turned to his back, his gaze cold and calculating as he observed the masked figure lying a meter away—a clear indication that the leader of the group had survived his attack. Despite being crippled, the leader's resilience allowed him to endure.
"Why are you trying to assassinate me?" the young man inquired, his tone icy.
"Hehe, even if you kill or torture me, I won't tell you. But what we didn't expect was that although you are clearly injured, you still possess such powerful strength, so we came unprepared," the masked man replied, showing no concern for his crippled cultivation.
The masked man's laughter echoed through the alley, reverberating with a chilling certainty. "After the higher-ups find our failure, they will surely send more assassins. When that time comes, this world will become your graveyard. Hahaha," he taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "I'll be waiting for you in hell."
"Hmph, even if you don't tell me, I can still use Soul Search on your soul. So whether you tell me or not, I will still know," the young man retorted, his killing intent intensifying at the mention of his injury.
Approaching the masked man, the young man moved to grasp his head, but before he could, he heard a sickening crunch. Glancing down, he saw the lifeless body convulse, white foam seeping from beneath the mask. Clearly the masked man swallowed a poison.
"Hmph, don't expect to rest in peace," the young man sneered, snapping his fingers as the corpses burst into flames and turned to ash. The once-imposing wall blocking the alley also vanished without a trace.
Even without delving into the assassin's soul, the young man could discern the identity of those who had sent them. It was undoubtedly his enemies, the very ones who had orchestrated his current predicament.
"Hmm, these bastards actually managed to chase me to this world?" the young man muttered, his expression darkening. "Hmph, just you wait. After I devour the Heavenly Child of this world, it will be the end for all of you," he vowed, his voice dripping with lethal intent.
With a final glance at the fallen assassins, the young man turned and vanished into the shadows, leaving behind only silence in the wake of his departure.
