The sun beat down, turning the sand into dazzling crystals that sparkled in the radiant light. The salty sea breeze permeated the air. Kids screamed out in joy, and laughter filled the air. The sound of splashing water and the call of seagulls became a symphony that played in the background of those enjoying the day at the beach.
Luna sat underneath the large beach umbrella, her legs curled up to her chin. Her hair was loose, flowing over her shoulders and knees like an obsidian waterfall. Laying down beside her on a beach towel on his stomach, his feet kicked up in the air, was Isaac.
"I'm so glad we came," Isaac said, his eyes deadly focused with a hungry gaze on the four shirtless boys before them. Simon, Mark, Carl, and Adam were in the water, passing a ball back and forth. The only thing doing their bodies were swim trunks, much to Isaac's delight.
