"It's not your fault," Aunt Phoebe spoke in a soft voice, trying to soothe her. She ran a hand down Luna's hair, petting her like she did when she was a young child. "Falling in love can be either a natural or unnatural phenomenon in our world, but it isn't your fault."
Luna adjusted her head slightly from the comfort of her arms so that she could look at her aunt. "I know." She released a heavy sigh, her body and mind reeling from exhaustion. Her mentality had taken a hefty blow, not just from this but from everything that had happened during the year.
The biggest blow to her mentality was still Adam since that was the most recent development. "It still sucks, and I'm still an idiot. I should have realized something sooner." She wasn't blaming herself for not noticing right off the bat, but for failing to realize that something was amiss as time went on. There was just no plausible way for someone who wasn't that famous to have that many admirers.
