Third person POV
Russell and his party saw Gregory's way of punishment any of his misbehaving students, and inside the classroom, Gregory said to the misbehaving student, "You may sit down now." Embarrassed by his stupid actions, the student sat down quietly. With that, Gregory continued their lecture for the afternoon.
"Woah…" Azalea commented on this.
"Gregory-san was good at his job as a teacher," Russell added.
"That guy was strict…" Kelly added as well.
After that, Russell wrote a note for Gregory and left it in front of the door of his classroom, and all of them left the place and the school, going back to Russell's bus and leaving town for their day. Their next route is from Carelis to Bessen Boldeny in the Zale Valley's northwest province of Takwa. The drive lasted for 1 hour and 2 minutes, and the bus had 23 passengers onboard. Getting closer to Bessen Boldeny, Russell noticed a walled city off the highway and northeast of it. That city was a bit dilapidated, but its buildings showed no signs of neglect or damage, despite the fact that this place used to be the de facto capital of the demon king Malarka more than 1,000 years ago. It seemed that someone or a group of individuals had been keeping and maintaining the place all this time. That city was just 3.8 kilometers from Bessen Boldeny. Looking at the walled city, Russell marveled but shrugged it off to continue in his job as a bus driver.
Later on, the Renad bus driver and his bus arrived at Bessen Boldeny. Russell did his standard protocol for arriving at his destinations with varying fares for three currencies used in the Zale Valleys and the Southern Plains. So far, he only covered two countries in this world, but Russell plans to expand soon. After some time, Russell and his group left the big town and went back to Carelis with 15 passengers onboard.
It was lucky for them to go back to Carelis because…
[Meanwhile, back at Carelis…]
4 p.m. came, and kids in the Saint Andreas the Thunder Saint Academy were excited to come home to do their usual afternoon stuff in many ways. Gregory noticed the note left by Russell and was positive for him. "Well, we were of the same race after all…" his mind said.
But after logging out for this afternoon, Gregory was walking home from work when someone shouted from the distance, "Bandits!" This caught his attention and the attention of those around him immediately. And suddenly bandits, both running on their feet and on horseback, descended from the gradual mountainside, broke through the wooden wall the town made, and descended into town, intending to raid it and even kidnap their female residents. Seeing that Gregory and the bystanders started running for their lives as the bandits raided and caused chaos and destruction in their town. Gregory rushed home to turn on his physics-heavy booby traps to defend his home, as well as preparing the traps he made for his neighbors nearby.
"Not again!" his mind said, causing a flashback of the last time his hometown was raided by bandits.
Gregory did so as fast as he could.
But will Russell, the Bus Driver Hero, and his party arrive in Carelis on time before the situation becomes more dire and worse?
