Third person POV
After that, Azalea made 1 additional potion, which is a fire one, much to Russell's impression. That fire potion can set anything on fire upon throwing it. Then, Russell went out to get his stuff from his bus. Last night, he parked it at an empty lot not too far from Azalea's house. So, he opened it using his bus keys and went in to do so. He picked up the hood he got from one of the 3 suspicious people whom he had killed for trying to kill him and his passengers yesterday. Looking at the emblem, he realized that he didn't think about the agenda of those 3 mysterious people, and now, he suspects that the emblem on the hood has something to do with it.
"It must be a secret organization or group…" he thought as he looked at it.
So, he put it around his shoulders and got off, before closing the door with his keys.
He then walked back to Azalea's house while watching his surroundings in case those royal spies were looking and watching him.
He arrived back without a hitch and entered in. In the living room, he laid the hood on the sofa neatly. Azalea's mother, meanwhile, was out at the village market while her father and paternal grandparents were working in the mountains. Once he did that, Russell stood up and began to think about the possible agenda of those 3 people from yesterday. And then, Azalea came to the living room from the potion room, only to see Russell looking at the hood on the sofa.
"Oh! You're back," she said to him, catching his attention. "What are you doing?"
She then took a peek at the piece of clothing. "A hood?"
"Yes," responded Russell back.
"Where did you get that?"
"From someone who was trying to kill me and my passengers yesterday."
Azalea gasped in shock. "What? Really?"
Russell then nodded as he looked back at the hood.
"Since when?"
"Yesterday, on the way here."
"Why they would do such a thing?" Azalea asked in disbelief.
Russell then shrugged because he didn't know why. "Worse yet, 2 more were involved in that hijacking."
"What?"
"Yes, and you know what I did to them?"
"No?"
Russell then smiled slightly. "I killed them by ramming them over with my bus."
Azalea was shocked once again. "Wow, you did that?"
"Yes, because I don't have a choice. They'll kill me and my passengers if I don't do anything to stop."
Now Azalea understood that and didn't judged him for what he did yesterday because those 3 people were trying to kill him. "Okay then, you're smart."
"Thanks," Russell happily responded back.
With that he and Azalea looked back at the hood and then, directly at the emblem.
"Do you know this emblem?" Russell asked her.
"No, I don't," answered Azalea back.
"I see."
"This looks suspicious."
"Yeah, that strange emblem must have something to do with those 3 killers from yesterday."
"Might be. It might be a hidden agenda of theirs."
Russell then nodded.
But Azalea didn't know that her father was an ex-member of a secret organization that had the strange emblem on Russell's hood.
But who and what was that secret organization?
Meanwhile, the royal spies in the village had sent an informing letter to the royal family in Rossley. The letter stated that they didn't have any tip or clue regarding the one who saved the village from the bandits last night. Their royal masters then understood that and sent back a letter telling them to continue investigating.
At the same time, at an adventurers' guild somewhere west of Snowyfield Village, Adrian felt inferior to his party. He wishes that he were to be in a different party than his current one. He also wishes to join Russell as well, but he couldn't do so due to the fear of getting punished and humiliated.
