Mizuki glared at Hitomi and Naruko, his eyes blazing with fury. "You little brats think you can just get in my way? I'll end you both!" With a swift motion, he hurled two giant shuriken at them. Both girls reacted instantly, leaping aside to avoid the deadly spinning weapons, which embedded themselves deep into the nearby trees.
Hitomi glanced at Naruko, her voice steady but firm. "Looks like talking will have to wait. For now, we need to work together to take him down." She gave Naruko a reassuring nod. "I still see you as my idiot friend, not some monster."
Naruko felt warmth spread through her chest at Hitomi's words. She nodded gratefully, feeling a surge of determination as she faced Mizuki beside her. "Thanks, Hitomi… Let's show him what we've got!"
Mizuki's sneer deepened as he clapped his hands together in a sequence of hand signs, slamming them to the ground. "Let's see you dodge this!"
Instantly, two stone spikes erupted from the ground right where they had been standing. The girls sprang into action, leaping away from the spikes just in time. Naruko's heart raced, but she steadied her breathing, preparing for whatever Mizuki threw at them next.
Hitomi activated her Sharingan, her eyes flashing red as she analyzed Mizuki's every movement. She quickly formed her own hand signs, inhaling deeply. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" She exhaled a blazing sphere of fire, sending it hurtling toward Mizuki.
Mizuki jumped to the side, narrowly dodging the fireball, only to find himself surrounded as thirty Naruko clones appeared around him, each one grinning with fierce determination.
"Let's see how you handle this, Mizuki!" the clones shouted in unison, charging at him from all directions.
Mizuki gritted his teeth, swinging his arms wildly to fend them off, but the clones attacked relentlessly. A barrage of punches and kicks struck him from all sides. He growled in frustration, stumbling as he struggled to keep up with the onslaught.
From within the throng of clones, Hitomi suddenly appeared, her Sharingan glowing intensely as she swung her leg in a powerful kick, striking Mizuki in the chest. The impact sent him crashing into a tree, his back slamming hard against the trunk.
Mizuki coughed, wiping a smear of blood from his lip as he staggered to his feet. He looked at the two girls, hatred seething in his eyes. "You think you've won? I'll show you real power!" His hand slipped into his jacket, pulling out a small vial filled with a dark, murky liquid.
Naruko's eyes widened as she noticed the vial. "What… what is that?"
In the shadows, Yuto clenched his fists, recognizing the substance immediately. "Damn it, Mizuki! That's one of Orochimaru's experiment! It's going to give him the strength of a leopard… temporarily. But that boost… it's dangerous!"
Mizuki smirked, tipping the vial to his lips and drinking it in one swift gulp. His body immediately convulsed, veins bulging across his arms and neck as his muscles expanded, his eyes turning feral. His body transformed as he looked like a hybrid between a leopard and a human.
Mizuki let out a low, guttural growl, flexing his fingers as claws emerged from his nails. "Now, let's see how you deal with this!" He vanished in a blur, moving with the speed of a predator.
Hitomi barely managed to track him with her Sharingan, gasping as he appeared directly in front of her, swiping with his claws. She ducked, narrowly avoiding a slash that would have torn her face. "He's so fast!"
Naruko gritted her teeth, lunging forward to help. "We'll just have to be faster!" She signaled her clones to surround Mizuki again, hoping to use numbers to keep him contained.
Mizuki growled, slashing through the clones with savage ease, each of his movements precise and deadly. One by one, the clones vanished in puffs of smoke, leaving only the transformed Mizuki and the two girls.
Mizuki pulled out the giant shuriken he had previously thrown at them from the ground. He snarled as he threw the shuriken, cutting the new clones that appeared as it went towards Hitomi who was making hand signs for a fireball. She gasped as Naruko also moved to help her dodge, but suddenly, a greenish ball of corrosive energy hit the shuriken, melting it as the girls and Mizuki were shocked. They looked at the direction it came from and saw Yuto walking towards Mizuki.
"Yuto!" Naruko's voice rang out as Yuto had melted the shuriken Mizuki, now transformed with leopard-like abilities, had hurled at them. His Kamigan glowed with fierce determination as the melted metal dripped to the ground.
"No one hurts my friends and gets away with it," Yuto declared, his gaze locked on Mizuki. "And you dared to call Naruko a demoness... you'll pay for that."
Mizuki's sneer faltered under Yuto's intense glare, realizing he'd underestimated the bond between these three. These two kids didn't even care that Naruko jailed the kyubi.
Yuto called out confidently to Hitomi and Naruko, telling them he'd handle Mizuki from here. Mizuki, with a twisted grin, taunted Yuto, asking if he really believed he could stand against him. "Thanks to Lord Orochimaru, I have the strength and speed of a Jounin—an elite Jounin even!" he sneered, flexing his newfound power. His leopard muscles flexing.
Yuto, unfazed, ignored Mizuki's boastful claims, recognizing that while Mizuki's transformation had made him powerful, his arrogance was blinding him to reality. 'He's drunk on a small taste of power,' Yuto thought, dismissing Mizuki's delusions with a calm resolve.
Yuto's gaze sharpened as he watched Mizuki continue to boast, the rogue shinobi's arrogance almost palpable. "Strength of a Jounin? You really believe that, don't you?" Yuto replied, his tone laced with a cool defiance. Mizuki sneered, baring his teeth. "Laugh all you want, brat. I have Lord Orochimaru's power flowing through me! You're nothing compared to me now!"
But Yuto remained calm, his eyes flashing with the power of his Kamigan. 'He's fooling himself,' Yuto thought, noting Mizuki's unsteady stance. 'This isn't real strength—it's borrowed, a fleeting boost.'
"Is that so?" Yuto finally replied, his voice firm. "Then show me this 'Jounin-level' strength of yours. Because from where I'm standing, you're still just a bully, hiding behind power that isn't even yours."
Hitomi and Naruko watched from the side, sensing Yuto's intensity. Naruko whispered to Hitomi, "Yuto's serious… Mizuki's done for." Hitomi nodded, her sharingan analyzing Mizuki's movements. Yuto had never fought seriously to anyone except Guy. He used to battle seriously against Hitomi and Naruko as well, but he had surpassed them easily due to his increasing mastery of the Kamigan.
In response to Yuto's challenge, Mizuki roared and charged, muscles rippling with his enhanced power. But Yuto sidestepped the attack effortlessly, barely flinching. He could clearly see Mizuki's movements due to his scanner ability. "Is this all you've got?" Yuto taunted, his tone as sharp as his gaze.
Mizuki, enraged, threw a barrage of shurikens with his strength, infused with chakra for added speed. Yuto's eyes narrowed, his Kamigan activating. He raised his hand, a wave of Greenish Black Energy rippling from his fingertips, dissolving the shurikens mid-flight. "You're going to have to try a lot harder than that," Yuto stated coldly.
Realizing he was being outmatched, Mizuki bared his teeth. "Don't mock me! Lord Orochimaru will make me more powerful than you can even dream of!"
Yuto shook his head, a mix of pity and determination in his eyes. "You're fighting for someone else's dream. I'm fighting for my friends," he replied, stepping forward, every word weighed with purpose. "And that's why you're going to lose."
Mizuki let out a furious roar as he lunged at Yuto, claws slashing through the air. Yuto sidestepped the attack smoothly, watching Mizuki stumble as he missed. With a determined look, Yuto decided it was time to go on the offensive. He began parrying Mizuki's strikes, each move fluid yet powerful. Despite Yuto's hits landing cleanly, Mizuki's enhanced durability allowed him to shrug off most of the damage.
'He's tougher than I expected,' Yuto thought, gritting his teeth. 'But that just means I need to push harder.'
With a burst of speed, Yuto closed in, dodging another swipe from Mizuki. He delivered a rapid series of kicks and punches, each one aimed at Mizuki's pressure points. "Is that all you've got, Mizuki?" he taunted, his voice calm yet piercing.
Mizuki smirked, breathing heavily but unfazed. "I will enjoy killing you brat!"
Yuto narrowed his eyes, his voice turning cold. "Playtime's over." He blocked Mizuki's latest wild swing effortlessly, then glared at him, his glowing red Kamigan intensifying.
Mizuki's instincts, heightened by the leopard serum, kicked in, and a sudden fear washed over him. He tried to leap back, sensing the danger, but it was too late.
Yuto raised two fingers, focusing chakra in his Kamigan. A sharp beam of solar energy shot from his fingers, striking Mizuki's hand. The beam severed it cleanly, and another beam followed, hitting Mizuki's leg and severing it as well.
Mizuki screamed in pain, collapsing as he clutched his bleeding arm. His arrogance vanished, replaced by terror. "W-What… what is that power?" he gasped, looking up at Yuto with dread.
Yuto stepped forward slowly, his eyes unwavering. "This is what happens to those who hurt my friends. I don't like anyone who hurts my family. And to me, from the 5 people i consider family, you tried to hurt 2 of them." He spoke calmly, but his tone was deadly.
Hitomi and Naruko watched in awe, seeing Yuto's overwhelming strength. Naruko clenched her fists, feeling both relief and admiration. 'Yuto… he's incredible. He won't let anyone hurt us.'
Meanwhile, Mizuki could barely lift himself, his body trembling. "Lord Orochimaru… save me…" he whispered in desperation.
Yuto's eyes narrowed, showing no mercy. "There's no one here to save you, Mizuki."
