the advice

"Abbey, have you been daydreaming again?" Kelvin asked, his voice tinged with frustration. "Why can't you just learn to focus like everyone else?"

"I'm sorry, Kelvin," Abbey replied, a hint of annoyance in his voice. "I have a lot on my mind lately."

"Well, whatever it is, it's affecting your work. You need to stop it or you'll get into trouble," Kelvin warned. "And I don't want to get dragged into it either."

Kelvin had always been a good friend to Abbey, and he couldn't help but feel like a concerned mother at times. Abbey couldn't help but roll his eyes at Kelvin's nagging.

"You sound like my mother," he joked.

"Well, that just means I care about you," Kelvin retorted. "But I'm not your mother, just a friend. And I don't think your nighttime activities are doing you any favors here."

Abbey bristled at Kelvin's nosiness. He had always been a little too curious for Abbey's liking. As Kelvin packed up his belongings, getting ready to leave for the day, he couldn't resist asking more questions.

"You seem in a hurry to leave," Kelvin observed. "Got a hot date waiting for you at home?"

Abbey couldn't help but smile at Kelvin's assumption. "Actually, yes. I do have a date tonight at 8pm."

Kelvin was shocked and surprised. "What? You have a date? When did this happen, and why am I just finding out about it now?"

Abbey was hesitant to explain. How could he possibly tell Kelvin that his date was someone he had met in a dream? Someone he had a unique connection with as the Dream Lord?

Instead, he chuckled and made up a story. "We met at the walkway when I accidentally spilled coffee on her."

Kelvin raised an eyebrow. "You accidentally spilled coffee on a hot girl? Was that really an accident, Abbey?"

Abbey couldn't help but laugh at Kelvin's teasing. "Do you really think I would deliberately spill coffee on a girl I like? Am I that crazy?"

Both men laughed together. "Well, I better get going before I'm late," Abbey said, changing the subject. "See you tomorrow, Kelvin."

As Abbey walked alone on the quiet road, he couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. He looked around, but there was no one there. Suddenly, a strange sound caught his attention from behind. He turned, his tone of voice becoming cautious as he spoke.
