Have I jinxed my journey by posting that motivation bullshit? What should I do if the car gets damaged on this never-ending road? I can't damn see a soul.

I was driving in the darkness, while my two passengers were getting sleep. I glanced at them with annoyance. Am I traveling alone? Aren't they supposed to entertain the driver? What if someone kidnapped us?

"It is all grandfather's fault!" I muttered with anger.

How could Grandfather do this to me? He is the devil. The address was not on the map, therefore I couldn't use my phone's GPS. I have been following the map for 6 hours now. Thank God we dined early on. In this nowhere, we could even starve.

There only was a black pitch road covered by fog, brightened by car lamps. Not even one other car was to be seen. The last building I saw was almost 15 km ago.

This road creeped me out. Maybe I had consumed too much caffeine! Did I mention having two canes of coffin drink with a few cream puffs to replenish my energy? By the way, that was a bomb and we have only 6 packages left, out of the 12.

The last time I stopped the car to look over the livestock was 2 hours ago. Looking at the clock, it was almost one in the morning. I felt tired, but stopping the car in this fog would be a suicidal act. The mist began 15 km back and grew denser with each passing second. The only thing I could see were the broad trees at the crossroads.

Awwwoo!

Clap! Clap!

Woosh! Woosh!

Ding! Daang!

Yeah, and those creepy sounds. It sounded like gigantic birds flying around in the darkness and packs of wolves howling. Sometimes there was also a distant sound of hammering metals.

After one more hour of horror, I finally saw the white house that Grandfather had marked as his house on the map. A European-style three-floor house. It was a twin of his other one in the town. The only difference was the carvings on the wall and pillars around the house. Each with a demon-like winged creature on top.

I couldn't care less about his warnings about not entering it. Coming out of the car, I walked through two pillars and to the door gates. The damned doors were closed. Not even a window was open. My keys didn't work here. The building was enormous and probably had a backdoor. Considering the chances of it being unlocked and the danger of going to the back of this massive house in the dark, I chose not to take the risk.

Feeling like I was being watched, I ran to the car and got in. Looking at the map again, I started the car. As we went, the road became bumpier. Now, the trees were foggy too. The clapping sounds and the howling sound lower and the hammering sound becomes louder. The blowing had become much stronger, too. Another sound, the sound of water slapping the stones, joined the mix as well.

As the map stated, there was a fork in the road. One of them was on our side of the forest and one on the other side. I was so tired that I just drove on the shortest path.

After five minutes, there were lights on the road, and suddenly the car shook.

BANG! BANG!

The sound of things shooter to the car woke up the sleeping beauties.

"Are we under attack? "

"What the heck is this??!!"

Eggs crashed on the glass. I couldn't see them because of the fog, but could hear their shouts.

"Attack! It's that damned human!!"

"You damned XX!"

"Go away, you devil. How dare you invade our village?"

Seeing how aggressive they were, I pressed my foot on the pedal and speedily drove away. They chased the car and shot at us. There really was a good reason Cassetta was bulletproof. I hope you're okay Mona!

Finally, after crossing a bridge, they stopped chasing, even if they kept shouting and cursing my grandfather.

After two more minutes, I saw the silhouette of the villa. Was it a villa? No, it looked more like an enormous castle with tall towers. Even through the fog, one could see it was so huge that even if we were almost one kilometer away, we could still not see the top.

There was a stone road made of stones that shimmered as the car lamp brightened the way. There were sparkling white-colored roses in full bloom on one side of it and a shimmering field of columbine and daisies on the other. It was so unrealistic that all of them gasped for a second.

Getting closer, the entire castle was floating on water. The castle's lower walls, up to the second floor, seemed to be made of marble, darkening as the floors increased. All of them contained gold and silver shreds. Vines encircled the walls, adding a sense of etherealness.

A bridge connected the door gates to the shimmering road, also made of shimmering marble. I drove the trailer exactly to the front of the bridge.

Both of the boys were now wide awake. Fully flabbergasted.

"Get out!"

Both turned their heads to me, looking pale. Both of them rebuked in unison.

"No! Let's go back!"

"No! I wanna go home..."

I was so tired that I just got out.

"Well, suit yourselves!"

The air was moist but not cold. After all, we are in the middle of summer. I ignored their protests.

"Sister!!" "Hey!"

Opening the truck door, I took out Mona and Moron and tied them to the bridge railing. They seemed okay. I took out the fences too and placed them next to the cows. The large cow placed its head on the smaller fence as if comforting the small ones.

I ruffled its head. She was obedient and smart, unlike the two other cows. Placing food and water in front of them, I took a deep breath and walked over the beautiful bridge.
