As the Duo ventured through the ruins they found themselves surrounded but broken murals that didn't make any sense and writing that they couldn't read.
"This writing must be their written language of their order… it's a shame we won't have time to decrypt it." David said from the top of Noemi's head.
"Why? I'm sure we'll find books about the Ancient Beastman's order. They'll probably have some way for us to decipher them right?"
David sighed as he had wished it was as simple as that. News would be bound to be spread about these ruins that they were currently walking in.
"If we have the time to decipher them I would have said something but these ruins don't have a guardian now. Anyone could enter them and we can't fight if a Major guild found us."
In the grand scheme David was too weak to face against such threats.
By David's calculations they had an hour to explore the ruins themselves before someone would catch wind.
"We don't have a lot of time so let's continue. I'm sensing the smell of… blood? I'll go ahead and check it out." David said as he leaped forward from Noemi's head.
David knew that the ruins were abandoned quite some time ago but the smell of blood was fresh and much more fragrant than the smell of a nicely preserved wine bottle.
'The smell is getting stronger… it's almost intoxicating. Could it be another heart?'
David highly doubted that the source of such an alluring smell was yet another Dragon King Heart.
Instead what David found to be the source of the smell was a flower that looked to be the combination of a Rose and a Lotus flower with a golden stem.
David's instincts were all over the place.
It felt harmless but David trusted his gut and incased it in ice with his Frost Blast.
Only after the flower was encased by the ice did David realize his surroundings.
It was a ginormous library fitted with hundreds of thousands of books and scrolls and techniques.
All of them were categorized with names on the spines. Some of them even could give skills but David couldn't learn them in his current form as he was still a little Cockatrice instead of a human.
However there was one book in particular that David could read.

David had struck a gold mine that was all his.
People have been searching for any information regarding the Dragon King. This book alone had an untold value to anyone still looking for information about the Dragon King.
David wasted no time in opening the book while Neomi had begun exploring the great library.
A dark and sinister voice echoed in David's head as the face of a great dragon appeared.
David was filled with both fear and admiration towards the dragon to where he unconsciously bowed his head to greet the dragon.
""My Descendant, if you are reading this book then it means you have taken up my mantle of being named King Of All Things. I have scattered all of my hearts because of those who seek my power. Find them and regain that which was lost""
David now had two thoughts fill his mind.
'King of all things? What's that supposed to mean? And their are others who are seeking the other hearts? I'll have to be careful as I collect more hearts.'
The Dragon King continued as a talisman with seven different segments and creatures appeared.
""Take heed of this warning against the Humans and their ambitions. We of the Dragon race held the balance of power but I can only surmise that the humans with become the dominant force of the land after our disappearance. The Elvish race, The Star Born Elves, will most likely go into hiding to preserve their own. The Beastman will most certainly resist the humans but I doubt they will hold on for long.""
David felt the wisdom in the Dragon Kings words. Beastman folk were often the object of ridicule and oppression. Elves were thought to be a dead end until just under a year ago a famous streamer caught a glimpse of an Elven settlement before perishing at their hands.
But the other four segments and the creatures representing them were unknown to David.
""The people of the Ocean, the Whirlpool Tribe of Aqualev will most likely hide in their shells in plain sight. And finally we have the Demon Tribe and The Seven Miracles.""
Both David and the developers who were watching were very curious about the Seven Miracles. Jim had given them vague hints about the Seven Miracles and now they could witness what they were.
""The Humans have already come into contact with the Demon Tribe and have allowed their silver tongues to manipulate them. To what end I cannot tell but the Seven Miracles that were send by God were an exception from the influence of the Demon Tribe. These Seven miracles are ones that I acknowledge as their power combined rival my own.""
David was speechless by the Dragon kings words.
Together they rivaled the King of Dragons and King of All things? They surely must have been comparable to the Gods themselves.
""My Descendant, take my place and balance the scales of power once more and stop the Demons from summoning the Kings of Hell. No doubt they are already planning to summon a King from Hell in your time should we fail. Unite the realms of the world to face the coming darkness.""
As the final message was heard David felt his mind nearly crack in two.

Once David had come to his senses he quickly dumped everything in his inventory which wasn't much aside from the Bloody axe set.
Neomi was confused as she watched David collect certain books one by one.
"What are you doing?"
"This is a treasure trove of ancient knowledge and skills beyond what we have so I'm taking as many as I can. Dump any raw materials you have in your inventory and take all of the Beastial Skills that are related to your class."
Neomi had no reason to doubt David and did just that and moved quickly as David felt their hour of time alone in the ruins was about to come to an end.
But just as both Neomi and David were about to leave David had a sour look on his face.
Such knowledge couldn't be used by anyone else as there was no telling how dangerous those books could be.
'I can't let others look at these books. I have to destroy them all.' David said just as he used his claws to create a few sparks before a blazing inferno swept the room turning everything to ash.
David and Neomi ran as fast as they could and quickly took cover behind a couple of rocks before a large group gathered around the entrance to the ruins.
David's assessment was perfect and he was glad to have gotten out when they did.
Jim however was now alone in the conference room with blood on his hand and a destroyed table inside as well as a crack on the wall.
'He's got a few of the Legacy skills of the Seven miracles! Now the growth of the new seven will be slowed unless they get those books from him!' Jim thought to himself in his frustration.
Nothing was going properly as David wasn't meant to even get the book of the Dragon King until much later.
It was at that moment Jim's mind was kicked into overdrive as he vowed to never underestimate David's power in doing nothing accordingly.
Each step David has took since becoming the Dragon King's descendant has been into an entirely new pathway that David himself was creating.
This was what it meant to be as one of the Seven Miracles, but now Jim had to accept that there was an Eighth Miracle and his name is David.
