"Huff, huff.", Sebastian sat down and heaved heavily. The spells really had taken a toll on him, but he could not rest for long, before he heard four typical cracks, accompanying an apparition.
Three men and one woman, wearing official looking robes and a ministry sigil appeared in front of them.
"Shit, they burned one of the hunters!", the woman exclaimed, and a man grunted.
"Nice. More work for us."
"Oh man, when they said the kids would do well, I had expected them to get the hunters and burn the wolves, but I didn't think they would be burning the hunters as well!", another man said and turned to the three.
"Listen, I know you did not want to kill the man, but this just goes on to show that you still need more training, but to be honest, you did very well. Noone thought you could fight a whole pack head on but would pick them out one by one. Back in the days, even most post O.W.L. would not be able to take on a lot of enemies at once, not even including the mutated magical wolf. So do not burden yourself with having killed this man, it happens.", the man said and smiled at them.
"We will take it from here. Well done. Task one and two should be completed."
Sebastian, Alexander, and Nadine, all three still too exhausted to talk, just nodded and began taking out some food and water.

The next day
"Nadine, wake up. It is your turn of guard duty.", Sebastian said, while shaking Nadine awake.
"Urgh, I don't wanna. Let me sleep.", Nadine answered, her tiredness apparent from her voice.
"No, it is your turn. I want to sleep too.", Sebastian insisted and made sure that Nadine stood up and went outside.
The last day had been tiresome, and his body was still aching all over. He had gone over the top with his magic, but to be honest, his magic felt even better than before. He felt fuller and the magic was easier to control.
And then there was the thing about killing one of the hunters by accident. He knew it was wrong, but he did not feel guilty or bad. The man from the ministry was right. It can happen and it wasn't like he had any other choice back then. Large area spells are just way harder than focused spells. And there was another thing. He realized that he was still too weak.
Sure, he was way stronger than any 1st year in Harry Potter in the books, but it was still not enough for this world, if he wanted to sit at the top. He would need to focus more on becoming stronger, so it should not matter if any spell was considered as dark. Even if they were classified as dark, he could not complain about it to anyone if he were to die. Just like his past life. Weapons were bad and restricted, but if he had had one, he could have killed the terrorists and survived, without stupidly sacrificing himself for others.
"Yawn. I am tired.", Sebastian muttered and laid down on a small mattress.
[A/N: I literally yawned while writing this. The word is cursed.]
"I am tired, but it needs to become stronger. YAAAWN. But only after I slept.", Sebastian swore to himself, while falling asleep.

"Troll up front. But I only see one of them.", Nadine said.
They were wandering through the forest for two whole days without any signs of the trolls, which was weird, considering their size and loudness.
"Good, let me see.", Sebastian said and looked through the trees where Nadine saw the troll and to be honest, all the pictures did not really show how ugly a mountain troll actually is.
It looks grey and its face was a bit like Voldemort, just with a nose, a lip job, and huge ears. Its arms and legs just looked disgusting, and it gave the impression of the troll being an ugly and oversized cave man, with the clothes it was wearing. But it seemed strong, and mountain trolls were a lot more dangerous that forest trolls.
"Eww, that's ugly.", Sebastian voiced.
"Yeah.", Nadine agreed, this was one of the ugliest sights she had seen, besides some of the corpses she saw at her family home.
Alexander did not even look at the troll for more than a few seconds, but he, too, was disgusted.
"That thing has killed a lot of humans.", Alexander added.
"Really, how do you know?", Sebastian asked.
"Family talent. I haven't told you until now, cause we are not supposed to, unless it could help, but we can determine a lot from the magical aura surrounding magical beings, wizards too. Like if they have a dark, light, fiery aura or are close to nature. I think there is a family in Britain, that shares our talent, but I do not remember their names. My father just said that they were weird. Theirs is a bit stronger but only females can inherit it.", Alexander answered honestly.
"But back to the case, I can see that this troll has killed a lot of humans, or at least sentient beings.", Alexander explained, "This means, that it could either hunt humans on purpose, or it is very strong and even able to hunt wizards that come close to its former territory more often."
"Hm, so we should play it as safe as possible. We do not know how dangerous it is.", Sebastian proposed.
"Yes, and the information said that there were at least two. I suppose we should try to get this one now, after we made sure, that it is completely alone. That would be better.", Nadine said.
"I agree with you. But how do we attack? I do not have any poison and potions working against the troll's magical resistance and I do not think that your defences are strong enough yet, Nadine, to defend against a troll up close.", Alexander added.
"How about knocking it out? The only problem would be, that if it is somewhat strong or intelligent, it would not work. But we could try something I earned for my contribution to the school. But it is kind of difficult to pull off.", Sebastian proposed some of his ideas and went on to explain the spell he was talking about.

"Swosh"
"BOOOOOM"
A large bombardment spell had hit the troll's right arm, holding a club. Alexander and Nadine had channelled the overpowered spell together, to initiate their strategy.
"Here! We are here!", Alexander shouted, gaining the attention of the stumbling troll.
The troll turned his head and glanced at Alexander and catching itself before dropping on its left knee.
"HERE! YOU UGLY TWAT!", Alexander continued to shout.
The troll seemed angry and stomped over, its speed increasing continuously.
Suddenly, the earth rose in front of his left leg, and trapped it just enough that the troll would stumble again and fall on his face.
Now, Sebastian came out behind a rock and began casting a strong but difficult spell, that most wizards would be able to learn. The more difficult thing was using it, as it did not showcase its power from the very beginning. It was a new creation through the use of physics in spells, and if one were to use it without any understanding, it would be very weak. But if a wizard had a innate and deep understanding of electric principles and its influence on magic, the spell could become one of the strongest there is, breaking through powerful wards, shields or hides.
"Fulguris Nexus!", Sebastian voiced the incantation and a thin chain of blinding lightning shot out of his staff, connecting to the head of the troll.
After the connection stood, a thick and round pulse of lightning came out of Sebastian's staff and went through the chain, finally reaching the troll's head. It produced a small lightning explosion, but the connection still stood.
One after another, more pulses came out of his staff, while the intervals between each pulse became shorter and shorter, until they were produced with just 0.5 seconds delay.
The pulses hit the head, but failed to do much damage so far, the spell still had to build up and become stronger by itself, not that Sebastian's maximal frequency was reached.
The troll twitched and was able to lift its head and upper body a bit off the ground, but Alexander and Nadine hastily reacted, by transfiguring the earth to move around the troll and to sink where it tried to lift itself with its hands, but the troll was still to strong and fast.
"Bombarda", "Bombarda"
Both, Alexander, and Nadine cast, but not at the troll, but at the earth near its hand and knees, hindering from standing up.
"DIFFINDO", Nadine yelled and cut a thick branch of a tree, letting it fall and the trolls back, while Andreas threw a Conjunctivitis Curse and a few swelling potions at the troll's eyes, which made the troll shout and growl, intensifying pain it felt from Sebastian's spell and the tree branch.
"BOM" "BOM" "BOM" "BOOM"
The lightning pulses intensified, and the troll began struggling and throwing his arms around in every direction.
"BOOOM", a final bold hit the trolls head and the skull cracked, exploding with a resounding "BAM" and spluttering brain mass and parts of the skull in every direction.
The troll was dead!

I hope it was somewhat satisfactory. Fights against creatures are not my forte.
