Arc once more took out the layered painting of his soul, and placed upon it another layer that represented the dragon turtle, earth dragon combination technique
Since it is a clear representation of his body this would be a good way to test it without having to actually do it
He followed the flow of energy with painting to see any problem that could potentially form, such as energy trapped, or meridian paths incomplete
He found that the way the energy flows is remarkably similar to his own, while the way the energy traveled couldn't be more different
This made him theorize, that while his energy is almost identical to a spirit beast, his meridians are still linked in a human manner
Thankfully since he plans to take a physical route, the flow of the energy doesn't matter, especially since energy can flow freely through every cell in his body
Few people in the world have bodies this wired for energy manipulation or absorption
During this experiment though, he did find one issue between these techniques that can't quite be remedied,
the dragon turtle qi, and the earth dragon qi did not want to blend meaning his method of changing out parts of techniques will not be achieved
"This is way trickier than i thought"

Since these techniques couldn't be blended willy nilly, he would just have to go back to the original plan, and individually analyze each technique and find the parts most compatible to him
Then take those parts and use them as the foundation to create a new technique suitable for himself
He began with organizing everything as this would take a lot of space going the pen an paper way, it's not like he could make a program tied to the image of his soul to make a technique perfectly tailored to it
'Wait a minute, why can't i do that'
Arc's eyes lit up, as he was clearly distracted from his main objective, but since it would still get the job done he thinks it would be fine
Arc thought of painting something that could act as the basis of the "server" , since he could paint a new soul, it could work, but it would have to be a non human so as to not made Aurora mad

Arc's hairs stood on end,before he decisively changed his plan, he would ask permission first, Arc stood up and walked over to Aurora room and knocked
Aurora answered the door, Arc began to speak
"You know how you said not to draw a person, i had an idea"
Arc explained his idea on making a "server computer" without the use of those words as she wouldn't know what they meant
Aurora looked at him while he spoke and found that he really couldn't keep his focus and would always deviate and created new plans
'I'm glad i forced him to join the core disciples, with his erratic train of thought he would have probably done something stupid, without being under my supervision'
"Arc you're getting sidetracked again, focus on cultivation, at this rate you won't reach golden core by 100"
'I'm going to scary him a bit so he'll get back on track'
Aurora thought to herself with a giggle as she spoke again
"What you described would be an incredibly long process that is something powerful cultivators could spend hundreds of years on, it is not a shortcut to develop a new technique."

Arc then agreed with what Aurora said, he has been getting sidetracked lately, it's almost as if there is no driving plot forcing him to improve

He had already treated and seen the old man as family, he doesn't believe the old man would betray him, especially since Arc is the only one who puts up with him
Arc began recording the information rapidly, he seemed to have gotten the shenanigans out of his system, and so his working speed improved
He found that the qi in these techniques seemed to formed from the blending of ki, and qi together
So he found that it could be useful to continue to gather martial arts, to use as a reference point for the creation of his own technique, so he added all the information from his martial arts knowledge to the books recording the spirit beast techniques
Since the martial arts were much simpler than the spirit beast techniques Arc found them easily recordable, and so he had a thought to purchase more at some point to have more references
Arc realized that that he wouldn't be able to note everything that quickly so he prepared to enter "closed cultivation", as taking the techniques appart would be a long process
Arc remained within his room for 2 months, and after figuring out what happened during his closed cultivation, he headed directly to the library with a jade containing all the information that he sorted out
During that time period much happened in the sect, the first being the inner sect competition, where a unknown newcomer won first place and was accepted as the student of the sect leader
That person was the brat of the Lavier family, he had also renounced his name, changing it to wuji,
That being the smaller matter, the larger being the sect known as devil crow valley, one of their elder's has reached nascet soul cultivation
Now they have three the most of any sect within the continent, this could completely shift the power balance, and so the atmosphere was tense
Arc arrived at the library and began speaking to the librarian
"What do you want brat"
"Can you organize this information into a cultivation technique for me?"
The old man looked at him opened the jade and his eyes went wide
"How much did you record?!"
" The flow of qi also feels different, this doesn't feel like a human technique. Why would you want to use it?"
"I have a weird physique that kind of forces me to use it"
Arc spoke bitterly
" it awakened when I broke through the qi condensation, and it's only been further amplified"
" But I have something here that may help you shorten the time it would take"
Arc brought out the photo of his soul and gave it to the librarian
The old man looked towards the photo, before giving an estimate of how long it would take
"without the picture, it would take anywhere between 10 to 100 years, this picture seems to capture the core of your soul, so within five months I believe I can make a technique suitable for you"
" But such a thing would not be without cost, how would you be willing to pay?"
"oh Aurora said she can cover it"
The elder scoffed before speaking
" I've never seen a gold digger boy before, one is a cougar and the other one digging for gold"
Arc felt annoyed he didn't care to be insulted but he didn't want to hear aurora insulted
The librarian seemed to have noticed Arc normally uncaring demeanor changed and realized that his joke was in bad taste
" All right fine I won't speak of her, but you're still a little Golddigger"
The librarian corrected himself, but couldn't help but insult someone
" I can see why no one ever comes to the library"
Arc spoke bitterly
' thankfully this isn't like a like the novels i read, where people who talk a lot of trash immediately are killed'
'Well, with how he speaks, he might be killed anyways, if it wasn't for the fact that he's a walking library they probably would've gotten rid of him by now'
Arc lamented over that fact before turning around, in a few months, he would check on the libraran and see his progress
Now it's the most major problem out of the way he began considering what will happen now, the nascent soul party will soon be happening, and all the surrounding sect's have been invited
Aurora and the sect leader will be attending in the name of the black mountain sect, while the grand elder, who is the only nascet soul cultivator currently in the sect would remained to guard it
As her "disciple", he would be expected to go with her, representing the black mountain sect
Hopefully it will just be a simple party and they're not gonna try to do anything stupid, but if they are going to attempt to use the momentum to gain greater authority, then we will be in quite the pickle
