Hael took her hands, and they leisurely walked towards their awaiting friends, but Luiza's heart begged to differ since it was anything but in a leisurely and composed manner. Her heart continued to pound, and she could think of a vast array of thoughts, all the while Hael continued to hold her hands.
"Uh, we should have brought a parasol! It's so sunny today," Ameera commented while staying under the tree's shade.
"Indeed, we should have. I just want to go back," Louise added, earning a smack from Ameera.
"Let's start plucking the fruits now," Elijah gartered their attention. "Now that our chief guests have arrived," she remarked sarcastically at the sight of blushing Luiza and straight-faced Hael.
They started to walk through the trees and pluck the fruits from the baskets that Elijah gave them. Some of the fruits were heavily tart, while others were very ripe and sweet. There were various sizes of persimmons, and each had a distinct smell.
