"Baby, I need to tell you something," Isabelle says softly, slowly getting on top of Rayleigh as the older woman is laying down on the bed after her shower.
Rayleigh puts down the books she was reading and focuses her attention on her fiancée, who is now sitting on her stomach with a serious expression.
"What is it, love?" Rayleigh says, her hands gently caressing Isabelle's thighs.
"Do you remember that intern?" Isabelle asks, her fingers playing with the fabric of Rayleigh's shirt.
"Which one?" Rayleigh tries to recall, then realization dawns on her. "Oh, the one in the cafeteria!"
"Yes," Isabelle confirms, her brow furrowing slightly.
Rayleigh changes positions, sitting up and allowing Isabelle to straddle her lap. She stares intently into her fiancée's eyes, waiting patiently for her to share what is troubling her.
