Chapter 80 - Ethan's Words

Ethan proceeded to the study located on the ground level.

Upon arrival, Ethan took a seat at the study desk and glanced up at David. His previous gentleness had disappeared, replaced by his usual aloofness.

David gazed at his superior and reported, "Boss, those individuals claimed they were hired to give Ms. Zara a warning along with some beating."

"Find out what happened at the mall during our absence," Ethan commanded with an angry expression and a chilling demeanor that made David sympathize with the individuals.

Shortly after, David retrieved the surveillance footage from the store and displayed it before Ethan.

Watching the video, the study was filled with a sense of murderous intent. Despite witnessing Ethan's ruthlessness before, Ethan didn't react as strongly to any of the issues he encountered before.

Looking at his Boss, he mentioned, "The Davis family's daughter is the one who hired those individuals."

Noticing his boss clenching his hand in anger, he thought to himself, "There will definitely be blood spilled on the floor soon."

Anticipating the worst, he overheard his Boss declare, "I'll handle them myself. Take them to the warehouse."

Hearing this, David's body trembled in fear. Ethan had never wanted to confront those who caused trouble for him.

Now, someone planned to attack Ms. Zara and his Boss is going to deal with them personally.

Surely there's going to be blood!

He silently prayed for the Davis family.

Upstairs, Zara was going through childhood photos.

While looking at the pictures, Zara overheard the butler saying, "Miss Zara, you're the first girl the Young Master brought here. This room is so special to him that no one else is allowed in. Not even the servants."

The news surprised Zara, and the fact that Ethan hadn't brought any girl here didn't concern her.

Is the butler trying to clear things up for Ethan?

Despite her shock, she nodded at him and calmly asked, "Wouldn't Mr. Ethan scold you if he found out you let me into this room?"

The butler was taken aback by this. He believed that Young Master had a special relationship with this lady, different from others, which is why he allowed her entry.

But hearing Zara refer to his Young Master as 'Mr. Ethan' made him question his assumptions. Did he misunderstand something? Would Young Master fire him over this?

As he pondered this, he suddenly felt remorseful.

At that moment, a distinct voice echoed from the hallway, "I wouldn't dare to upset Lia."

Zara remained composed upon hearing this. The butler looked at the person who spoke and nodded his head with a little bow, "Young Master."

Ethan gestured for the butler to leave. According to it, the butler left the two people in the photo room alone.

"Do you like the house?" Ethan's voice was gentle and composed as he approached Zara.

If one heard that, he's the man who would not hesitate to kill those who crossed him, had this side of his personality would drop their jaw to the floor in shock.

Zara looking at Ethan nodded at him and said, "Not bad."

Ethan's lips curled up looking at her who seemed to be cold to approach but was so cute that he couldn't help but move towards her.

Seeing him moving closer to her, Zara looked into his eyes and asked, "What?"

"Do you know that no one is allowed to come to the second floor?" Ethan asked with his lips curled as he moved towards Zara.

Seeing him getting too close to her, Zara moved back and asked, "You should have told me that before?"

"But, that doesn't include the future madam of this house." Ethan laughed and said as a fact.

Zara was inching closer to the cabinet, but Ethan showed no signs of stopping.

At the mention of 'lady', Zara fell silent and simply gazed at Ethan with a puzzled expression.

Caught off guard by her beautiful, questioning eyes, Ethan couldn't resist any longer.

He couldn't hold back any longer and pulled Zara into his arms, saying softly, "I should have found out about you sooner."

Zara struggled to break free from Ethan's grasp, "How? By figuring out where I am?"

Ethan refused to let go, feeling like everything was finally falling into place for some reason.

Zara protested, "Ethan, you're going too far!"

She had allowed him to hold her hand the day before, but now he was being too forward by trying to hug her.

"I just really want to hug you. I can't help it," Ethan confessed, looking deeply into her eyes with sincerity and passion.

Without waiting for Zara's response, he hugged her even tighter and asked, "If you face any people causing trouble around you, just tell me."

And he continued, "I'll deal with them." "No need for that," Zara said as she didn't know what to do with him hugging her.

If not for the fact that, her parents would get to know about today's incident, and get worried about her, then she wouldn't have allowed Ethan to handle it.

"If you need anything, can you come to me?" Romeo asked as he looked at Zara, "All the things that you feel like it's not worth dealing with or you're too lazy to deal with, you can leave them to me."

"You won't be in the Elbonia for too long. So, why should I look for you and disturb you?" Zara asked indifferently.

"Who said I'll not be in Elbonia? From now on I'll be here. And only when necessary will I travel abroad not otherwise." Ethan said with a smile in his eyes as he looked at her.

"And also, when it comes to you, nothing is more important. If you need me, I'll always be there with you." Ethan continued with a spoiling attitude, "You're still young, so it's best if I deal with those things. Don't worry about everything by yourself."

Ethan said as he patted her head and said, "I'll take care of everything, remember that."

Looking at the serious Ethan who didn't look like changing his decision, Zara helplessly said, "I remember."

 "Remember what?"

"You'll be in Elbonia from now on. And to find you if anything happens." Zara said as if she was reciting something.

Ethan held her face, made her look at his face, and said, "Remember that you have a fiancé and try to spend time with him when you're free. If you need anything he'll get it for you. And will be with you through every difficulties."

Ethan gently caressed her soft face, reluctant to remove his hands. "Always remember to consider him more, even when you're not. He's a lonely soul with no one to care for him."

Zara observed Ethan, who seemed to be saying something he had been planning for a while. With a puzzled expression, she inquired, "You appear different. When did you become so talkative?"
