When Ethan heard that, he curled his lips and chuckled softly, saying, "Only for you."
Zara shot him a glance but kept quiet. Instead, she focused on the hand that was still wrapped around her and said with a hint of annoyance, "Just let me go."
Ethan met her intense stare and reluctantly released her, only to take her hand again moments later.
While they were browsing through the photos in the photo room, the butler walked in and announced, "Young Master, Mr. Sirius and Mr. Carter have arrived."
Ethan acknowledged him with a nod, and the butler exited after delivering the message.
Ethan glanced over at Zara and said, "Lia, let's head downstairs together."
Zara didn't hesitate and gave him a quick nod.
With Zara's hand in his, Ethan led her down to the living room.
Once downstairs, Zara noticed two men in the living room, but she didn't pay them any mind and continued on.
In the living room, Ethan and Zara settled on the couch, with Ethan still holding her hand.
One of the guys named Carter was taken aback when he spotted his boss holding hands with a girl. He was starting to wonder if he was imagining things.
Ethan didn't pay him any mind and just asked the butler for some puddings, which he then served to Zara.
Carter was really confused and turned to David, who was next to another guy named Sirius. Sirius hadn't shown any emotion so far, just looking cold and distant.
Used to Sirius's indifference, Carter brushed it off and leaned a bit toward David, asking, "What's going on here?"
David grinned at Carter and replied, "You'll find out soon enough."
Carter clenched his jaw as he caught sight of David's smug grin, clearly in the know about something regarding his boss while he was right there.
He turned to Sirius, curiosity getting the better of him, and asked slowly, "What do you think went down?" "Can you just be quiet for once?" Sirius shot back, not even looking at him, his tone sharp.
"You..." Carter attempted to soothe the situation, reminding himself that the guy next to him was just a clueless blockhead and not worth his energy.
Meanwhile, Ethan was totally unfazed by the drama and simply handed Zara some pudding.
Zara felt a bit awkward being doted on by a guy with so many eyes on them.
Zara shot Ethan an angry look, silently telling him to focus on his work. She then turned her attention to the pudding in front of her and began eating it.
Ethan, seeing Zara eating, felt a warmth in his heart and gently ran his fingers through her hair before turning his gaze to the people in front of him.
"I asked Sirius to return. Have you finished your work, Carter?" Ethan's demeanor shifted from warm to aloof, as usual in front of the three members.
Noticing his boss's change in attitude, Carter kept away his curious mood and replied seriously, "Yes, Boss. I completed the work. That's why I came with Sirius."
Ethan nodded with a cold expression and instructed, "Sirius, from now on, you have one main job to focus on."
With that, he turned his gaze to Zara, who had just set the pudding plate down on the table. Noticing that the pudding still looked mostly untouched, Ethan asked her with a hint of worry, "Is it not good?"
"It's fine. I'm just really full," Zara replied, avoiding his eyes as she started scrolling through her phone.
Glancing at the table piled high with treats and noticing how little she had eaten, Ethan realized that his Lia wasn't really into sweets.
An idea popped into his head, and he called out to the Butler, "Bring some blueberry yogurt."
The butler nodded and headed to the kitchen. Shortly after, he returned with the yogurt and placed it on the table.
Ethan handed the yogurt to Zara, saying, "Give this a try."
Upon seeing the blueberry yogurt in front of her, Zara's eyes briefly lit up before dimming. However, Ethan, who was watching her closely, caught the moment and curled his lips in satisfaction.
Zara accepted the yogurt and began to eat.
Ethan turned to Sirius and said with stern voice, "Starting today, keep a close eye on Lia and make sure no one with ill intentions gets near her."
Sirius nodded with a cold expression, his expression unreadable.
Zara turned to Ethan with a questioning look after hearing this, "Are you really having your people follow me?"
Ethan looked at Zara and noticed a bit of yogurt on the edge of her mouth, which made his body heat up inside.
He controlled his emotions, grabbed a tissue from the table, and wiped Zara's mouth. Zara was surprised by his sudden gesture and pushed him away with wide eyes.
Seeing her reaction, Ethan chuckled, ran his fingers through her hair, and said, "I've been thinking about it. Since you already have a group of bodyguards, I won't send more people."
He went on, "Sirius will stick by your side, along with a couple of bodyguards lurking in the background. They're not like your usual guards. Sirius will be right there with you when you head out, and he's got a knack for knowing when to be close and when to give you space."
Zara paused and thought before wanting to speak, but Ethan cut in, "You can't turn this down. Grandpa would totally give me an earful if he found out I only sent a few guys to keep you safe."
After that, he turned to Zara with a playful grin and asked, "So, what do you think?"
Catching Ethan's grin, Zara clenched her jaw and gave him a quick nod before shifting her focus to Sirius. She stood up from the couch, walked over to him, and said flatly, "You can call me Luna when we're outside."
"Sure, Ms. Luna," Sirius replied with a nod, keeping it simple.
Zara turned back to Ethan and inquired, "Where's the bathroom?"
Ethan wanted to get up from the couch, but Zara interrupted him, saying, "Just tell me where it is."
Ethan nodded but still asked the butler to guide her.
Zara trailed behind the butler, while Ethan glanced at Sirius and remarked, "Lia already has a group of bodyguards. She'll inform them about you."
"Understood, Boss," Sirius replied respectfully, his expression remaining cold.
Ethan gave him a stern look and instructed, "Make sure nothing happens to her. Otherwise..." Ethan paused and fixed Sirius with a chilling gaze, causing both Carter and David to break out in a cold sweat.
But Sirius remained impassive, his demeanor turning serious as he stated, "Nothing of the sort will occur, Boss."
Ethan nodded and told the three of them to head back.
