Chapter 35 - Find Her

Gia, on the other hand, felt miserable for Olivia and continued to serve her. Olivia was furious when she saw her parents enthusiastically serving Zara. She couldn't even feel the taste of the meal. After supper, everyone went back to their rooms to relax.

In the hospital room in Averna, Thomas still didn't ask David to look into that girl who was called Zara Adam. Because his grandson didn't leave him alone today.

At seven in the evening, Ethan went out of the room to take a call. Using this time, Thomas called out for David. "Yes, Sir. How can I help you?" David asked standing beside the bed.

"Help me investigate that girl called Zara Adam." Thomas spoke as he stared at David. David's face twisted before he spoke, "But, sir." "If Mr. Ethan finds out about this, he will be furious, sir."

"You don't need to tell him about this. Just let me know about the girl. If what I suspect is correct, your boss will be the happiest. Do not worry about it." Thomas spoke boldly.

David couldn't understand what it meant by his boss being happy when the girl's information was found. But still, he couldn't reject Mr. Thomas, so he started investigating.

Ethan arrived after speaking with his parents, who were traveling. His parents have long delegated responsibility to their only son and gone on to roam the world.

They will not readily return to Elbonia. However, in addition to traveling, the pair established many business connections. People often thought that the Andersons possessed a lot of wealth and shares all over the world.

Ethan looked at his calm grandpa and knew he was up to something. So he asked calmly, "What are you trying to do?"

Thomas stared at his grandson, who had no emotion on his face, and furiously asked, "What do you mean? I am simply relaxing! Can't you even allow an old man to rest properly?"

"Grandpa, let me tell you. If you want any ask and get it. But don't get involved in other people's matters." Ethan said looking at his grandpa.

"But you are my grandson. How can I sit silently while you're like this? Either bring a girl you like to meet me or date the girl I introduced you to." Thomas spoke with a hard expression.

"Remember, I'm offering you this choice even though you have an engagement back home. Do you suppose any other grandfather would do this?" Thomas snorted as he spoke.

When Ethan heard the word engagement, his face turned dark. David enters after placing a call. He observed his boss's gloomy and enraged countenance. He didn't want to irritate his boss, so he stood quietly in the corner without making any noise.

Thomas realized he made a mistake by bringing up the issue of engagement despite knowing about his grandchild. So he stopped arguing and silently rested on his back.

Ethan went out at that time and did not return for the entire night.

Zara sat in front of her study table at 9 p.m. in Mayledge Mansion, checking over some work-related documents.

At this point, a call came in. Zara looked at the caller ID and inserted the Bluetooth into one of her ears.

"Boss, you appear to have a lot of fun there. You didn't even send a message to let us know." A voice rang out on the other end of the phone. "What is it?" Zara asked without emotion.

"Boss, it seems you don't want us anymore." "Peter. If nothing else. I'll hang up now." Zara spoke. "No, no. Boss. I have something to tell you. Someone is looking for you from Averna." The caller on the other end talked seriously.

"So, did you let them find out?" "No, boss. Without your consent, how could I allow someone to discover you?" "Whose that?" "Those are people from Anders. Have you offended them in any way?"

Zara paused her work and cast a casual glance out the window of her study. After a while, Zara answered calmly, "Let them find out."

The person on the other end of the phone was stunned to hear this. "Boss, what did say just now?" Zara asked with a chilly voice, "Do you want me to repeat it?" "No, no, no... I heard Boss." The person spoke immediately after hearing Zara's statements.

"Is that it?" Zara asked. "Yes, boss. Then see you shortly." Zara ended the conversation and stepped out of the study to stand on the balcony. She stood for a while, staring up at the dark sky.

Later, she returned to her room and washed up. She fell asleep after refreshing.

....

Zara awoke at half past six the next morning. She headed downstairs, dressed in her sportswear. Ava and the other servants were already up, arranging flowers and completing their jobs.

Ava approached Zara with a grin and said, "Good morning, Ms. Zara." "Good Morning, Ava." "Do you want me to get you something, Ms. Zara?"

"No need, Ava." Zara said gently and continued. "I'm going on a jog. If Mom or Dad asks, notify them. I'll be back shortly." "Ok, Miss." Ava nodded to Zara.

Zara went out of the mansion for a morning jog.

Kylie and Andrew went down the stairs at seven o'clock. "Good Morning Ava, is Lia still sleeping?" Kylie asked. "Good morning, Madam. "Good morning, Sir." Ava turned around and greeted upon hearing the voice. "No, madam. Miss went out for her morning run." Ava stated.

"Good morning, Ava. When did Lia wake up? Andrew inquired after hearing Ava's statements. "Miss went out at half-past six. She should be back shortly. I believe she got up around 6 a.m."

Kylie was concerned after hearing Ava's words: "Why did she get up so early? Perhaps she couldn't sleep properly due to the rapid change in atmosphere, right?" Kylie inquired, her gaze fixed on Andrew.

Andrew, seeing his wife's troubled face, stated as he led her to the couch in the living room, "Don't you remember what Grandpa Michael and others said when we talked to them before? Lia enjoys exercising."

"Yeah, right. I forgot." Kylie smiled as she realized something. "Is Olivia up?" "I don't know, lady. Ms. Olivia did not come down till now." Ava responded as Kylie inquired.
