Chapter 30 - Warning

But Olivia quickly washed out this thought and didn't let that thought take her mind.

The other servant Julia promptly brought the ice pack and handed it to Zara. Zara swiftly applied the cold pack to Ava's cheek. Ava swiftly stepped aside and responded, "It's OK, Miss. I will take care of it."

Zara then handed the ice pack to Ava, who swiftly grabbed it with her head lowered and spoke quietly, "Thank you, Miss."

Zara turned her face to Olivia and stated fiercely, "Show your rage and status to those who deserve it. Don't use maids to vent your anger and show your status."

Olivia became enraged at hearing her remarks and yelled at her, "Just because you said you're here to meet your parents doesn't mean you're the daughter of this house. Keep in mind that you are only a visitor here, and I am the true daughter. Don't try to show me your attitude."

Zara faintly looked at her. Olivia was terrified merely by the chilly expression. But she continued to stand there as if she had no fear of anyone. Her eyes and body, however, betrayed her, shaking slightly.

Zara looked behind Ava and murmured, "Let her rest for today. Arrange the clothes in my closet." After that, she returned to the third floor without looking at Olivia, as if she did not exist in this world.

Olivia was so enraged because from her childhood till now everyone tried to curry favor with her and no one ignored her till now as Zara did. She had always been the center of attention wherever she went.

So, unable to contain her emotions, she entered the room and slammed the door shut. Gia was about to enter the room when it slammed shut just before she could enter, knocking her on the nose.

"Ahhh!!!!" Gia yelled out in pain, covering her nose. The servants that followed Gia glanced at her uneasily before moving forward and holding her.

The other servants simply gazed at them without any expression, while Julia struggled to suppress her laughter as she looked at the trio pair.

Olivia entered her room and began pacing back and forth. Olivia tightened her fists and gritted her teeth, thinking, "How dare give me a warning? Even within my home, she issues me a warning? Just wait."

As she said, she took her mobile and called her friend Rylee. Rylee quickly answered the phone and politely called, "Hi, Olivia. What are you doing?"

Olivia wailed, "Rylee...." Her demeanor transformed to that of a heartbroken and mistreated girl. Rylee was taken aback when she heard Olivia weeping, so she nervously questioned, "What happened, Olivia? Why are you crying?"

"Rylee, without anyone's consent, Zara occupied the third-floor room." "What!? How can she do that? That room was specifically intended for you, right?"

Olivia sobbed and responded, "Yes, my parents promised me that room when I turned 18. But she arrived unexpectedly today and barged into that room without asking anyone. When my maids inquired about it, she even warned them."

"Is she stupid? How bold is she? Just because her last name is Adam, does that mean she may claim anything in that house as her own?" Rylee was also outraged when she considered what her kind-hearted friend had gone through.

Rylee thought for a moment and said, "If that girl is here for your family's help, then that means, they will help and try to first educate her by sending her to school. Right?"

Olivia, who had not thought about it until now, reflected and responded, "Yeah. If my parents decide to help her, they will first try to educate her."

Rylee excitedly said, "Then that's it! Olivia, let me tell you a plan." Rylee and Olivia discussed their strategy for quite some time, and Olivia was pleased to hear the entire plan.

But she didn't want to show her true colors even to her pals, so she disguised her feelings and worriedly stated, "But won't it hurt her too much? What if it causes her psychological trauma? No, no. Rylee, we cannot do that."

Rylee sighed, remembering her kind-hearted friend, and murmured, "Okay, okay. I will not follow this strategy. We'll think of something else."

Olivia, on the other hand, was fully aware that even if Rylee stated these words, she would continue to carry out her plans. So, Olivia remarked, as if she was relieved, "Thank you very much, Rylee. Thanks for being there for me."

"What are you talking about?" "We're best friends." Rylee thought of something and quickly responded, "Olivia, I'll talk to you later. My mother is calling for me."

Olivia saw it was a lie even though she responded, "Okay, then. See you at school." Because she was aware that Rylee would make plans to carry out the strategy.

Because it was September, they still had school to attend. Olivia intended to spend her weekend studying for her exam on Monday, so she stayed inside her room.

So, after conversing with Rylee, she felt better and began to study for her examinations. After some while, there came a knock at the door. "Come in." Gia opened the door and went in, bearing a platter of salad and a smoothie.

"Young Miss. You didn't have lunch. So, I brought you some salad and a smoothie. Miss, have it before you continue on your studies." Gia spoke calmly, and her nose, which had been smacked earlier, was still somewhat red.

Olivia looked up and was taken aback by Gia's nose. She worriedly asked, "What happened to your nose, Gia?"

"It's nothing, young miss. I banged on the door earlier." Gia looked at Olivia, who seemed calm and normal as herself, and smiled warmly.

"Did you apply any medicine?" "Yes, Miss." Gia spoke as she set the tray down on the table in front of the room's sofa. Olivia stood up and stated, "Be careful next time." She sat down on the sofa and started eating.
