Chapter 3 - 3-Just wake up my dear

What a beatful sea of sunflowers filled her view, thousands of flowers facing the three suns setting on the horizon. A gentle breeze passed by, making them appear to dance, while the sky displayed vivid and beautiful colors.

Ah, the moment seemed simply magical.

Killing some time just walking calmly while contemplating the sunset, she wore a beautiful white dress, her long hair braided with several delicate blue roses adorning it.

Embracing the feeling, she felt more and more nostalgic, maybe she had experienced this before?

Understanding this feeling wasn't possible without remembering it, so she just decided to focus on the beautiful sight she saw.

Passionately the sunflowers glowed. Singing softly, she reached out towards the sunflowers, but as she touched them, they suddenly turned towards her. Surprised, she recoiled, and the sunflowers returned to their original position.

Looking back at the suns again, they formed an unmoving line, but the sky continued to change its color, turning into a pinkish-red hue.

Astonished, she looked behind her and saw a man painting the scene; she couldn't see his face, as if the easel hid it from her. The only visible and familiar things were his long black hair swaying in the wind and a soft song he hummed.

She tried to call out to him, but no words came out of her mouth.

She tried again.

And again.

...But no one could heard her...

The atmosphere became increasingly oppressive, the sky tinted in blood-like tones, the suns dancing frantically around each other. As the wind intensified,

the once beautiful and strong sunflowers turned their faces toward her and withered.

The roses in her hair fell, their petals seeming stained with blood; as she tried to catch the falling petals, she noticed her own hands stained with blood, just like her dress.

Then, she felt someone taller embracing her from behind, long black hair dancing in the strong wind was visible.

A whispering voice echoed in her ear, bringing her back to reality: "Wake up"

"Lady Mahal! It's time to wake up!"

"Good morning, Lady Mahal. It's time to wake up."

"...wake up, my lady...."

The woman jolted forcefully from her bed in a startle.

"Lady Mahal?" A woman with pointed ears stood by the bed, looking at her silver-haired lady in surprise; the abrupt awakening seemed to startle her.

"Did you have a bad dream, milady?" A six-armed, six-eyed woman approached from behind, showing concern, while another woman with red eyes silently followed, all three dressed as maids.

"Lord Mahal instructed us not to let you sleep for more than two days," the red-eyed woman leaned towards our protagonist and whispered softly, earning an irritated glance from the lady with pointed ears.

"Vesper! What are you doing so close to our lady?! If you have something to say, say it loud!" That woman with pointed ears was now a bit angry.

"... Sorry," the red-eyed woman stepped back and stood behind the six-eyed one.

"Silence!" Our dear lady was in a lot of pain and weakness at this moment; the lady with red eyes and the woman with pointed ears were giving her a headache, and besides, who were these annoying bugs that disturbed her sleep? She had just forgotten what she had dreamed because of them!

"...."

"..."

".."

... The silver-haired woman had just realized that she had shouted; she shouldn't have done that... But, meh, she was too lazy to explain anything.

Before she could say anything, the two women bowed apologetically; they didn't want to upset their lady.

At that moment, the six-armed woman placed a silver tray full of food on her lap.

On the tray, there was a jar full of raw meat, two bowls of meat stew, a plate of chocolate cake, and a glass of orange juice. Did she usually eat that much?

"Milady, here's a little snack; I hope it can improve your mood. The meat stew isn't as good as Mr. Mahal's, but we tried our best."

The woman with silver hair... No, Lady Mahal looked at the tray with a perplexed expression; How on earth is this large amount considered a bit of food?.

Taking a piece of meat and putting it in her mouth with her own hands, she decided to shrug it off; it wasn't worth thinking too much about and worsening her headache.
