Dear reader,
Sometimes the most unexpected people can show the love that everyone should have,
But how often do we see them as strange instead of learning from them?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Innocent, confused eyes observe their surroundings.
Life in the city is hectic; there's no time to care about others in the minds of many of these hurried adults. Everyone is so wrapped up in their own problems that they forget others may also be going through tough or complicated times.
Always so absorbed in a world where they only have time to worry about themselves... they are no longer accustomed to being kind, and the few who do care and look around are rebuked by the large, blind, and cold majority.
And he felt that as he watched the various people passing by, all in a hurry to somewhere only God knows, while they remained in their own world, with time only to think about themselves.
None of them cared enough to give him any help, and Takari doesn't blame them; they are very busy people after all, although... he feels a little sad about it.
-They looked at him strangely, they were afraid of him-
Takari wished his mommy was nearby-
....
Takari felt like crying in despair; he couldn't see his mother anywhere-
...oh...
he remembered...
That was why he wanted help...
...
Takari looked around again in despair, to whom could he ask for help? Maybe he should have paid attention to his parents' warnings about what to do in this situation... But he didn't remember anything...
But what could he do now?
Takari was walking with his mommy on the street when he saw beautiful black birds flying in a flock, and without him noticing, at that moment their hands had separated, leaving him alone on a street full of unknown people.
At that moment, the poor child began to feel the urgency of the situation, he wanted to cry.
The child really wanted to cry now – He couldn't remember any of his parents' advice about what to do in this situation!
Takari sighed, his little eyes looking sadly at the sky, they shone sadly, there was no one who could help him –
-Oh!
He remembered something!
His mommy and daddy always told stories about great warriors of their race who asked animals for help and they helped them!
The boy looked around excitedly, forgetting his sadness, his eyes shone with excitement, he would be like the ancient great warriors! And, despite not finding any animals after a few minutes of walking, he didn't give up.
He continued to walk, crossing the streets, and his happiness blinded him to the strange looks cast in his direction.
...….....…
Maybe he had walked for more than an hour? He didn't know, but it seemed like the three suns had moved; they were casting a shadow behind him now! They used to cast a shadow in front...
'But it doesn't matter! Because Takari will find an animal and then return to his mommy's side.'
Oh! And then he finally saw a cat and a dog! Maybe they can help.
Walking with big steps, he went to the small cat and the small dog that were inside a box in the trash can.
Takari wondered if maybe they were waiting for their mommy too? But then he realized they were trembling, for some reason they looked very thin... Takari hoped they weren't starving.
"Hi! I'm Takari, son of Miraki and Tarikaeri. Who are you?" The boy asked cheerfully to the little animals, carefully picking them up as he noticed the fragility in their bodies.
They responded with meows and whining barks that reminded him of the crying of babies his uncles and aunts had when they were hungry.
But despite always being explained why babies cry, Takari was still confused, he didn't quite understand babies.
Remembering momentarily the snack he had asked his mommy to let him take in his backpack, the boy stopped for a moment as if he noticed something and then moved his hand to pick up something else in his backpack.
He took out a thermos bottle of skim milk and grabbed two disposable cups, filling them with milk.
Takari looked worriedly at the little animals who couldn't stand up straight to drink the milk, so he held them to help them drink properly and started laughing when he realized that the little ones were drinking the milk furiously. The boy was very happy that they had liked it a lot, and he stayed there until they finished drinking everything.
"Do you not have a mommy or daddy?" Takari asked them sadly, he couldn't imagine living without his mommy and daddy.
How terrible must a life be without a good father or mother like his? Takari wants to cry now, he feels very sad... Until he had a great idea!
Takari smiled happily showing his small sharp canines, he felt like a genius.
Takari decided then to take the two baby animals to his parents so they could take care of them. His parents could be the parents of the little animals too! All children deserve good parents, even animals.
Takari took the napkins and an extra shirt that his mother had put there in case he needed it. He put away his bottle and took the cloths, making a kind of bed inside the backpack. Then he carefully put the cat and the dog inside the backpack, closing the zipper just enough so they wouldn't fall out.
And so, a very happy Takari left the alley with his new friends, with some certain black birds guiding his way.
