The assistant's eyes widened. "R-right away, sir."
The assistant guided them to the principal's office and disappeared, trembling. The principal emerged from his chair, pale and confused, "Alpha Dante, this is an unexpected surprise. We didn't know you were coming from New York."
Dante titled his head in irritation, "I want to see my daughter. Are you taking me to her or should I find my way myself?"
The principal nodded hastily and led Dante and his men to the classroom where Karenina was attending a lecture. As they entered, her eyes met her father's, and she stuttered, "F-Father?"
The classroom fell silent, all eyes fixed on the formidable Alpha Dante and his men. Karenina's face drained of colour as she rose from her seat, her eyes locked on her father's unreadable expression.
