Chapter 15 - Chivalrous Action Of Zeras.

Zeras had a raised brow, his eyes piercing into the distance.

"Everyone, pack everything you might need. We are moving.."

"And what right do you have to dictate what we have to do." Rosaline questioned with a cold look.

"Indeed, I don't have any right to control any one of you." Zeras said, his voice loud and clear, directed at the entirety of the World Evolvers...present.

"But I do know one thing...and that's a fact: staying here will only lead to certain death!"

"Hmph...and how are you so sure of that. Not to even talk of the fact that we would simply be venturing right into the heart of whatever monstrous Eldritch dream creature that's the cause of this all."

Rosaline scoffed at his words, a cold look surfacing on her face.

"Yeah Nameless...she's actually right. Unless you can give us a reasonable explanation as to why we should move forward; especially when we know we are headed for certain death. Then I am sure I stand for everyone when I say we might as well try to look for another way to arrive at the Ancient Holy Land."

"Do you even know how many times the Eldritch dream creature behind such a psychic attack can continously attack. No, am sure you don't know. You don't know if it's ten times, a hundred times or even a thousand times, not to even talk of the fact that that such a creature probably has a vast arsenal of attacks in its' bag. Do you think because you could all resist the first one...you will be able to resist the potential next. Stop kidding and face reality...staying here would result to certain death, and moving forward will also result in...certain death.

But at least then..we have one or two chances of passing by such a monstrosity and arriving at the Ancient Holy Land. Staying here won't lead us anywhere closer to the Ancient Holy Land. And if you think there's another route to arrive at the Ancient Holy Land...feel free to search for it..."

By the end of his speech...silence reigned supreme. As no one could refute what he had just said. And the best course of action would be to look for another route. But who even knew what they would be venturing into or what dangers they would be facing and most importantly...is there even another route to arrive at the Ancient Holy Land.

"While we might not know what dangers we will be facing if we intend to pass another route...but at least, we know the one we will be facing if we continously head forward."

Zeras further added, his voice cold and detached...

"I have already said my part...the rest is up to you. But no one...would dare stop me from taking my brother with me." Zeras said with great determination, a kind of aura exuding from him.

One that caused them to be wary of him...after all, he had never actually fought before them.

So it wasn't without reason that they were wary of his combat prowess...

"Alright, although I hate to admit it. What he said is actually quite right." Finero said while glancing at Rosaline.

Rosaline exhaled lightly as she spoke.

"Alright everyone, pack up your things. We are all heading for the Ancient Holy Land."

While most of the World Evolvers might be scared...infact perhaps, all of them were scared including the ones that seemed to be stronger than the rest.

And of course they did have the right to be scared...against a psychic attack...Awakeners stood no chance.

Not at all...except for some few exceptions.

Zeras simply shook his head, although he didn't know what that invisible attack was. He knew one thing: the terror that they would be heading into would perhaps be the worst Nightmare of everyone present.

And immediately after Rosaline said those words, every World Evolver, no matter how weak, battered, injured or scared they were of what they would be heading into. All stood on their feets, determination obvious within their eyes.

They all packed everything they would need...mostly their artifacts. Which were immediately kept in their soul realm.

'Seems she's indeed quite respected amongst them. But it seems that within the Simulation, they held Khain in higher regards.'

And he wasn't surprised after witnessing Khain's struggle against the Eldritch dream creature.

'Talk of the Eldritch dream creature...'

Zeras suddenly had a raised brow...how could anyone forget about such a thing.

His brows got narrowed as he decided to stop thinking about it...after all, he was already on the course of doing it.

He immediately summoned a pair of dagger from the "SAFE OF ANTHERIA" within his soul realm. A shimmering pair of dagger seemingly made of metal appeared in sight.

And immediately afterwards...he bent down and got to work.

Almost akin to a skilled butcher...he executed his skills with a flawless dexterity.

Almost as though he had been doing it for years.

RIIIIIIIP!!!!!

TEEEAAAARRR!!!!!

His actions didn't escape anyone's attention...they immediately realized that he was trying to bring out the core of the dead Eldritch dream creatures.

'Isn't he even a little bit scared.'

Some had this thought...and not quite long afterwards.

Probably some few minutes...Zeras finally brought out the entire core he could find within the body of the Eldritch dream creature.

And just like with every Eldritch dream creature above tier 1: though this one they had just killed had a whole seven core.

An Awakened-De-scendant Eldritch Dream creature!

He immediately brought out the seven cores...and then. He walked to Rosaline, he gave her two, he gave Finero one, he gave Charlotte one.

He then moved towards a World Evolver with pale and skinny body. He gave him a core.

The guy had a look of surprise on his face.

"Take...this is for you." Zeras said with a light smile on his face.

"Thanks, thanks a lot. Really means a lot."

The pale and skinny boy replied with a wide smile on his face.

"Yeah...I know." Zeras said as he turned back only to be confronted with grumbles from some World Evolvers.

He shook his head, as he didn't mind their grumbles.

He was only doing what he saw as being necessary.

Rosaline now had an inkling of how he behaved.

She appeared before him as she spoke.

"I am sure you must have given him your own share of the core for a reason."

With raised brows. She fuurther added.

"So...what is the reason."

Zeras simply chuckled before replying.

"We just met a while ago and you are already grasping some of my behaviors and traits. I have to say...iam quite impressed."

Zeras paused for a second, Rosaline staring at him with a piercing cold gaze.

"As for what the reason behind my chivalrous action is...I don't really think I am obliged to tell you."

He further added with a wide grin as he moved past her.

A wide grin that reached up to his ears slowly spread across his face...as he slowly awaited the:

"FIRST CURSE!"

A nightmare of Eternal Slumber!!
