Patty went through the System Store and picked the Power Teqx. Knowing what to find, Patty skipped the other Teqx and scrolled through the items listed in alphabetical order. After a few seconds, he was able to find what he wanted.

Patty picked yes and the system did the rest. He instinctively knew that all he had to do was open his hands, and the Teqx would appear automatically without his intervention.
"What do—OH MY SUPREMES"
One second, Andres saw Patty close his fist as if he was grasping something out of the air. And the next second, when he opened his palms, there was a red-colored sphere in his hands!
This sphere was glowing and didn't have any solid edges like the other three-dimensional objects in reality.
Andres's brain knew that he was looking at a Teqx in Patty's hands, but his mind couldn't comprehend the thought.
Patty was like a magician. He brought out this magical Teqx right out of the air as if he were just grabbing a ball from the air or something. And he did it so casually too. It wasn't as if he broke the laws of physics and reality with that one move.
But after a few seconds of silence, Andres slowly began to realize the gravity of the situation.
He was looking at a Teqx. Patty was holding the Teqx.
The realization sent shivers down Andres' spine, making his whole body feel both fear and excitement and the same time.
"What…is…that…it couldn't be…but how…" Andres mumbled to himself. "Is that a Teqx?"
Patty nonchalantly answered, "Yes."
Andres vastly underestimated Patty's ability. When Grammo recommended him to go to Patty, he thought that the least he would get was life advice. Or he thought that Patty was just some well-connected guy who could introduce him to a company where Andres could get hired.
He never thought that Patty could give him a Teqx just like that. Without any hassle, without any ridiculous internships, without having to pay anything, and without all the bullshit that the majority of companies did.
The only thing that he had to do was sign a non-disclosure agreement contract, which was very reasonable, given how world-breaking Patty's ability was.
How was he able to give out a Power Teqx at such an early age? Was Patty an old man who rejuvenated himself by killing people or something?
"That's a Red Power Teqx…" Andres said with doubt still lingering in his words. "How? Have you reached the Apex realm?! At the age of 17?! How?!"
The first stage of Dreamers was as follows: Aspirant, Visionary, Paragon, Apex, and so on. Dreamers could only have enough mastery and familiarity over their route's fabric to produce Teqx for other people when they have reached the Apex realm of their cultivation.
Andres had never heard of youth so ahead of geniuses and prodigies that he was able to achieve the Apex realm in such a short time.
If you factor in the fact that, at the earliest, humans could only merge with Teqx at the age of 16 years old. That meant, at most, Patty had only been cultivating for one year!
How absurd was that?! He was able to reach a cultivation realm that would take an entire lifetime for most geniuses their entire lifetime, in just one year?! That breaks physics, reality, and everything else.
"Do you really need an explanation?" Patty asked.
Even though curiosity was eating him inside, Andres knew better than to press Patty for an explanation. And even if he did explain, Andres didn't think that he would believe any explanation–it was that ludicrous.
And since he was under a contract, the less he knew, the better.
"You're right. I don't need to know. I shouldn't complain. That is a Power Teqx! I am one step closer to achieving my dream!"
"It's exactly your dream," Patty said, but Andres didn't seem to hear it.
"Can I know what kind of Power Teqx it is? Does it have a high probability of having an elemental power power? Or maybe it's blade-related power? It doesn't matter. I'm just glad that I'll have a Power Teqx!"
Patty scratched his head. "It's none of those. I thought you wanted the Cellular Self-cloning Teqx?"
Andres nodded. "I did."
Patty then pointed to the Red Power Teqx in his hands, as if he was trying to tell something extremely basic to Andres. Of course, the very normal Andres could never even dream that Patty would be able to give him the Teqx he dreamed about since he was a kid.
It was already a miracle that he could give Teqx, it was another thing to give him EXACTLY the Teqx he wanted. Even people at the top of their fields can't do that. A master swordsman can't suddenly give out a Boxing-related Teqx.
Heck, even a master Tribulation Lightning Swordsman couldn't 100% guarantee that he'd give his favorite student the Lightning-element sword-attuned powers. At most, it would be 95%.
"This is that," Patty said. "Look, just take it if you don't believe me."
Andres subconsciously knew what Patty was implying, but it was just too insane to think about. That would make Patty extremely overpowered.
With careful movements, as if he were afraid that the Teqx would run away from him, Andres slowly approached the red sphere made up of pure energy.
As his hand got closer and closer to the Teqx, he could feel the minute vibrations that the Teqx emitted in reality. It felt like the manifestation of the Teqx in real life was unnatural.
Andres felt the heat from the Teqx, and somehow, he felt that the heat had a very distinct feel of Power. He couldn't very well describe it, but that was how he felt. It was so different from heat from a fire or a heater. It was affecting the very fire in his soul.
When he finally got close enough, Andres grasped the Teqx in one fluid motion, and he grasped it firmly.
He didn't want it to flow out of his hands.
And contrary to his expectations, the Teqx felt extremely solid and heavy. It was like he was holding a Tungsten ball.
He then put the Teqx near his heart, and without even much pressure, the Teqx phased through his skin and into his heart. Immediately, he felt a warmth that spread through his entire body.
His muscles were burning up, his veins were icy cold, and his mind was being flooded with information directly from the Teqx.
It felt like another person was talking to him inside his brain. It wasn't giving him information like how a teacher taught his students, it felt like the muscle memory and intuition that was needed to control the Teqx powers was downloaded directly to his mind, rewriting the neurons in his brain.
The overload of information in his brain numbed the pain in his body as it transitioned from a mere mortal to a superhuman.
Because what he acquired was a Power Teqx, his physical capabilities were boosted even more than normal Teqx users who had also started their cultivation journey.
After a few minutes, every feeling he had subsided. It felt like his spirit was brought back down from the heavens, forcing him to stay in his mortal coil. It made him feel the urge to become even stronger to finally break off the need for his physical body.
Was this why physical cultivators were so crazy in their cultivation?
"So, how is it?" asked Patty.
Andres closed his eyes and concentrated. Even though he intuitively knew how to control his new powers, there was still some awkwardness he needed to get over. It felt like he was a retired athlete who hadn't exercised in a very long time.
The intuition and knowledge were there, but his body was refusing to move the way he wanted to.
But once he got a grip on his powers, he activated his new powers as if he were opening and closing his mouth.
Andres' body started to vibrate, making his edges seem blurry. It wasn't long until his entire torso and body started to elongate as if he were being stretched.
It wasn't until his entire body was elongated enough to fit two of his body that his skin started to tear. The left hemisphere of his body started to separate from the right.
Then, in a blink of an eye, his body split into two. Andres was now two people. Patty didn't know which one was the original as the two bodies both looked at their hands at the same time. The differences between the two were minute.
"This…this is what I've wanted since I was a kid…"
