Chapter 15 - Practice or Punishment.

Felsen supposed Brick was staring at him, in this manner, because of what he said about the master just a few minutes ago, but why is the master gazing at him like this when he was sounding normally just a few seconds ago.

"What are you wearing this?" the master let out his words shockingly and deliberately.

Felsen lowered his head to discover what was untrue with his apparel. "Are not these are fine?!" Felsen rolled his sight through his clothes and pronounced.

The master had a look at Brick, and then at Felsen.

"Umm! I think it's my fault. I forgot to tell him. Wait for some time... I will be back," in a hurry, Brick walked to Felsen after finalizing his words to the master.

"Let's go," Brick tightens his finger on Felsen's wrist and brought him inside.

"What happened? Are not my clothes fine?" Felsen questions.

"These are excellent and you are looking remarkable, but these are not comfortable for training," dragging Felsen behind him, Brick talked.

"Ok...!! but why are we in a hurry? Please slower," said Felsen, grinning his teeth.

"Can't be. We already got so late. Ahh! we have arrived," Brick took him into his room.

"Mmm! yes, there they are," said Brick when he found a suitable outfit after rolling his sight all around the closet.

"Put them on quickly...I am outside," in a hurry, Brick talked and stride out of his room.

The master standing outside, without moving an inch from his position was waiting for Brick and Felsen. "Five minutes," the master murmured. There was not any clock anywhere or watch on his wrist, but he knew that it's been five minutes since they went into the castle, because he was a master with a mastermind.

"We are here," Brick and Felsen appeared behind the master, gasping.

Brick moved to the master, leaving Felsen behind, controlling his deep breathing and gasping that he got by running to the master.

The master standing binding his arms behind veered, and gaze at Felsen. His clothes were fine now. A comfortable white flexible silk pajama and a white silk shirt which was up to his knees and down to his waist.

Now, Felsen was ready, for the first day of his training. Brick was waiting for the master to say something about what he had to do, but the master was silent.

The reason for his silence was that torn sleeve from near the elbow of Felsen's costume that had torn on his way to him. That part of his costume was seeking the master's attention again and again.

Felsen shook his head slightly and silently while looking at Brick as if he wanna ask what is with the master? Why is not he saying anything?

"Master...!" Brick just said this, and then the master clear his throat and finally spoke.

"Today...!! don't you think that today is a bit colder?!" the master sighs.

Brick got confounded by the master's words and he narrowed his eyes a little like he was guessing the meaning behind the master's words.

Where Brick was making an effort hard to guess the meaning, a few thoughts also popped up in Felsen's mind and he gave his thoughts the form of words.

"Exactly!! I was thinking the same. Today is a little much colder. What about we start practicing from tomorrow?" Felsen spoke up, and let out his words as if the master was his buddy. With a big smile on his face, showing his teeth, Felsen was smiling at the master.

No one could say what the master is thinking and when will he say what. He was just an unpredictable man. Mostly, he is serious. And most of his reactions are tough. Brick was fearful about his reaction. He took himself at the moment when the master said these kind of words, not exactly these, but these kinds and he replied something like that, it was the hardest day for him for his whole life.

Brick shivered as he recalled his first day of training and swallowed his words.

"Okay!!" the master nodded.

Felsen, hearing the master's answer, smiled widely peeking at Brick. Brick also smiles back, but in a jittery manner.

"You are right, we should start practicing hereafter. Today is a little much colder. So... why don't you... cut this shoot!! into small pieces, so that we could blow fire in this colder climate, to keep our bodies warm?"

"Okay," Felsen nodded in satisfaction. He thought that there be a medium size thickened shoot and he will cut within ten to fifteen minutes but...

"The shoot and the axe are behind you about one meter away, and one more thing... doesn't stop for a moment once you start," said the master with the little movements of his brows. The master highlighted his every word.

Felsen, without turning, smiled confusedly because when he came, nothing was there behind him. But, then his confused thought became clear like water when he guessed, might an individual, during our conversation, take it here.

"Okay," Felsen mumbled and turned around.

"The heck is this...!" Felsen's eyes became dilated and his breath quelled for a while when he saw a thicker and long shoot. Felsen has never seen this densest shoot in his whole life.

Felsen veered around at the master, with pity eyes and a crying face emotion. He assumed the master will have some mercy on him but...

"Be careful about the time from tomorrow, otherwise we will start practicing from the day after hereafter," said the master with zero expression on his face and took a few steps.

"Brick," the master called him when he sensed him stepping toward Felsen. "Come with me," the master added. Brick, without uttering a word, went behind the master.

"This is so... How could this man treat someone like this? Doesn't he have a thing that is called a heart?" after completing his words, Felsen sighed and took the axe and starts hitting the shoot without wasting time as he was feeling cold in the very cold weather in that trousers and shirt.

"Huh! Huh!" Felsen was doing his hardest to cut the shoot, but nothing happens except a few scratches.

Felsen settled on the shoot to take a rest because he got exhausted after trying for a straight twenty minutes, continuously. His muscles became tightened, and he was trembling because he had never done such a thing in his whole life.

While he was resting to maintain his breath, a screen appeared on his right side.

"I told you once you commenced, don't stop for a juncture. Would you like to do the same for the hereafter? Master." the master peeking at him from the top of the castle sends him his words.

"I hate you, master," Felsen whacks the screen with an axe. The screen was magical, so it didn't break but just got disappeared.

"I hate you, master. Felsen." the master read  Felsen's message. Brick beside the master vindicated his throat after receiving his words.

"Why...is...this...not...shattering?" hitting on the shoot with an ax, Felsen discussed.

After performing this act of hitting the shoot with an axe all day, the master came to him, with Brick.

"I did my best but..." Felsen was so wet from top to bottom with perspiration, seemed so exhausted by the punishment the master gave him. His clothes were torn and dusty from every part. He was literally screaming in pain because he could feel anguish in every part of his body. His body muscles became tightened and so hard and he could feel cramps in them.

"Take him inside," the master uttered through his teeth.

"Yes, take me inside because I am not in a situation to move a step," Felsen with a crying face, lift his arms and mumbled scarcely.

Brick obeyed the master and took a step forward, lift Felsen in his arms.

"Aaa!" Felsen groans as Brick touched him to lift him. "It was so hard. I tried all day but nothing happened," when they were far from the master, Felsen moans in Brick's arms.

The master felt sorry for him and then a flashback of his conversation with Brick, when they were on the top of the castle, appeared in his sight, where Brick said,

"He is a kid. A normal human being. He is weak, he is innocent. We should not regale him like this on the first day."

To which the master replied,

"Yes, but he is the one and only heir. He could do."

"Yes, he is, but still he has a human body that can not take this much pain. I know this is for him but, still..."

Brick took Felsen into his room and laid him on his bed. His body muscle was hurting so much that the bed was feeling like a boulder to him.

"Aaa! Aaaa!" Felsen was groaning with his eyes closed as he has slept. Seeing his condition Brick spoke up, "Taking a shower in warm water could relieve your pain. Give me a second to prepare for you," Brick whimpered while arranging the blanket.

"Felsen, are you listening?" questioned Brick after Felsen didn't respond.

"Felsen!" Brick patted a bit.

"Aaa! Aaa! Aaaa! Yes! I heeded, I am just laying with my eyes closed."

"Shower!" Brick regurgitated his words.

"Yes, go for it. Do whatever you want. Just take me out of this horrible pain." Felsen whines again.
