Chapter 20 - Justification of rainy nights.

"From the left, now from top to down, now from the right. Yes, now back, again back, again back, back, back, back, top from down, yes, faster, faster. Now, defend again defend, and...now attack!" On day fifteenth, Felsen and Brick were practicing in the morning and Felsen was performing it as if he was doing it for years. Brick was optimistic that Felsen was accomplishing great.

"Woo champion! I think you are ready now," Brick talked like a proud teacher when at last Felsen defeat him.

"Aoo!" Felsen sounded as the master ambushed Felsen from his back.

"Well, I don't believe so," the master conversed when Felsen didn't sense the seizure from the back.

"Master!" Brick mumbled, where on the other hand Felsen was caressing his head because it was aching due to the master attack. Of course, the master doesn't want to hurt him. He just wanted to make him a great fighter.

"I told you your opponent will not give you the second opportunity," the master walked to him. "You learned well these sword skills in a very short time. I appreciate you giving your best, but still...!"

"I know what you are saying. Can not you teach me to deal with it?" Felsen question the master.

"Why not? We are here to teach you. But are you ready?!"

"Always," Felsen tightens his fingers on the sword.

"Ok, then," the master nodded and raised his hand in the air and catch a piece of black fabric. It was not surprising for Felsen. Of course, he was on the land where everyone knows magic, so a piece of fabric from the air was normal.

And then the master blindfolds him. "Can you see anything?" the master asked.

"No, but what are you doing this?"

"I am doing the same you told me to do. I am acquainting you."

"Now?!"

"Now...we will do what we can't with open sight," the master slowly takes steps back and gradually lets his words out in a faint voice.

"Mean?! What are we gonna do?"

"Nothing different. We are gonna play fencing."

"Huh! but I am blindfolded," Felsen got panicked, and the blood in his veins sped up.

"Nothing will happen. Believe us," the master indulges him.

"Now, try to commemorate the thing and their sounds around you with full concentration," the master ushers him.

Felsen did the same the master told him to do. He, with closed eyes, endeavored to comprehend the surrounding aspects.

"Tell me what can you hear," the master chatted.

"I am attempting," Felsen communicated because he didn't heed any such thing.

"It is fine. You just need to concentrate briefly," the master compelling his hand behind, narrated.

And obeying the master, Felsen did concentrate and then was eligible to heed.

"Yes, I can hear," Felsen said, with his hands in the air.

"Ok, now tell me the noise you can heed, and also it will be nice if you could warn their direction."

As the master finished his words, Felsen brought his right hand in the air, pointed to the direction, and started talking,

"Ok, streaming water, I think a canal on my left side."

"Great Felsen. If you could hear that, then you are doing well because that trench is not close. Tell me more," said the master. His voice was satisfied.

"And some sounds of birds twittering, I think..., near the canal and..."

In between Felsen telling about the sounds he could hear, a screen appeared on the right side of Brick.

"Attack him when I move my hand. Master." Brick browsed and glance at him.

"But is it safe? He is blindfolded. What if he gets hurt? Brick."

"Just do what am saying. Master."

"But master."

Brick and the master were chatting through the screen.

"If you will not do this, then I will," the master replied.

Brick worriedly nodded.

"And I think there is something behind my right side. But I don't know what is it," Felsen continued telling.

"Now," the master alludes, and Brick ran to Felsen to attack him.

"I wish you will sense this," the thought in Brick's head while running to Felsen. Brick was a very few steps away but Felsen still didn't perceive anything. Brick raised his sword and threw it toward the Felsen but he still didn't get any idea of the attack.

Brick's sword was about to touch Felsen but still, Felsen had no idea. Even the master gets concerned for a second and made a punch.

"Huh!"

At the last moment, Felsen sensed and defend himself. And then they fought as they practiced, but this time, Felsen was blindfolded.

"I think it's the time," the master raises his hand in the air and a sword emerges from his hand. After, the master ran to him for an attack and the surprising thing was, Felsen, blindfolded, fighting with Brick, heard the master's step, and then sensed his attack, and the things that happened the next moment were magical.

The master and Brick were accomplishing their best as the opponent, and Felsen was doing his best to defend himself.

After a severe, tough match, they stopped. The master was glad that Felsen did very great during the fight. Yet he did not show his satisfied expression to him.

Brick's happiness for Felsen was out of the world. It was so eminent from his countenance that how optimistic he was that Felsen had defeated him, and the master while being blindfolded.

"Thank you again," Felsen smiled confusedly as he was feeling hurt that the master didn't clutch back when he hugged him after his victory.

"No need for this. It is my chore to teach you," said the master, retaining his profound attitude.

Felsen finally frees the master from his grab when he finally finds that the master was not gonna hug him.

"And one more thing," the master halted, on his way inside and without turning talked, "You did well, but it doesn't mean you are prepared and don't require practice. You are still nothing. It is nothing," said the master and get inside.

"Why did he say this?" Felsen talked in his mind with a pondering look on his face.

"Felsen!!" Brick walked to him and said exuberantly.

"What?" Felsen talked in a normal tone.

"How can you sound this normally after what you just did? I never had any idea that Felsen could do this. You know what, I was so spooked. My sword was about to skim you, and you didn't respond. It was an inch distant when you reacted, and that moment when you conquer the master, and me, while blindfolded," Brick talked with full surprising actions.

"Even I am surprised that I did."

"Yes, the master is a good teacher. Is not he?" Brick chatted with a little wink.

"Yes, no doubt, but a rude, serious ancient man also," Felsen, in an off mood, talked.

"Aa! he didn't hug you back. It's ok. It is fine don't think much."

"Yes, it is fine, but can't he just pat a bit on my shoulder? I don't know why this man is so rude," Felsen grabbed his waist from both of his hands and talked with a frown.

"No it is not like this he is just..." Brick tried to control wrath by clearing the things.

"No, it is like this. I know." Felsen was not ready to listen to anything. "Don't you think the same? Is he rude or not? Yes or not!?" Felsen talked while looking into his eyes.

"Yes, he is a little rude but," as Brick let out these words, a screen appeared to their right.

"If you guys are done backbiting me, then you could come in. Master," a text from master on the screen appeared. Brick and Felsen strode their skull and browse. "He was reading our conversation. I am dead," Felsen talked with a crying facial expression.

"Let's get in now," Brick picks his and master's swords from the ground.

"What are you doing here?" Felsen the night asked Brick, who was on the top of the castle, the place where the master told Felsen everything.

"Felsen...!!" Brick, who was squatting on the ground, peeking at the starry sky, turned his head to Felsen, who was standing far behind him. Felsen thus walked to him and joined him on the ground.

"Are not these calming?" Brick talked about the starry sky and the beautiful scenery before his vision.

"Yes, it is," Felsen also got forfeited in the beautiful scenery and conversed in a lovely manner.

The silent night, with shooting stars, containing beautiful colors in the sky, was so soothing.

They silently were living the moment. And after a while, something popped up in Felsen's intellect.

"Brick," Felsen addresses him.

"Yes, Felsen."

"Can you decipher why is this night like this? These stars rain. It happens every night. Why is it like this?"

"Yes. This night, our king purposely made it like this when he built the land of Felicity again after Vicatan demolished it. After that incident, our king somewhere believed that the people of the land of Felicity will now have fear of Vicatan in them, even if their king was with them.

So...!! our king and your father, made this conciliatory night. These shooting stars are related to each individual on this land. Whenever someone birth on this planet, a new star appears in the sky, and in the night when they plummet, you can say, their every kind of torment and fear alleviated from their body and they feel disencumbered and become relaxed," Brick explains Felsen each and everything reasonably so he could feel the connotation of the night.

"Your king was such a great and thoughtful person," Felsen forfeited in staring at the sky.

Brick felt that thing that Felsen called his father your king. Somewhere in the corner of his heart, Brick was hurt because of what just Felsen had said.

"Even I feel relaxed at the night," said Felsen with a bright smile on his face.

Brick also smiled back and then again peeked at the sky.

"Brick, I have one more thing," Felsen while gazing at the sky, talked.

"Yes, what is it?"

"Does the master also have his star in the sky?" Felsen let his words out unhurriedly. And after finishing, he pressed his smile between his lips and with button shiny eyes, was staring at Brick.

Brick, when heard his question, moved his head gradually toward him and blinked his innocent eyes thrice in a row.

There was silence as just before the storm. A while after a little sound was heard, it was the sound of Felsen giggling that labored as a spark, and then Felsen and Brick burst out in laughter.
