While they were all focused on their practice, unexpectedly, they felt a little movement in the ground, and this movement was getting greater n greater like a tremor second after second. And then, in fewer seconds, a tremendous creature appeared which seemed to run toward Felsen. Felsen knocks down to the ground as the animal lunges at him.
The animal was not anonymous to Brick and the master. It was their dragon, their pet dragon named Chive, a pet dragon but it always acts so raucous and had wounded many till now. A ringlet of concern ran through the master and Brick's bodies because of the way it jogged toward Felsen and jump over him. They had no idea what will it do with Felsen. Brick and the master, prepared in their position, deferring for the dragon's next move. They never harm it, just control it somewhat. But today, if they had to injure the dragon to recoup Felsen, they will not speculate for a second.
Felsen on the ground with closed eyes, pointing his sword toward the dragon, was under the dragon. His sword seemed like a little bee in front of it which could do nothing to it.
The master gazed at Brick, and by the little shook of his head, he told him to be ready to attack the dragon. Brick nodded and they both seized a step forward as they suspected the pet dragon would take no time to harm Felsen.
But the dragon, instead of hurting him, and acting like a tumultuous, was looking at him with love. Felsen when realize no wildness for a few seconds, he opened his eyes, and darted into the dragon's eyes. Its shiny golden eyes were a vista in themselves. Felsen could see himself in it because it was no less than a clear lake.
Felsen came to his feet and moved his head right while looking at it. Same as Felsen, Chive also wooed him and moved his head in the same direction. Chive's this act made Felsen smile and then Felsen slowly brought his hand in the air. As he took his hand in the air, the pet dragon Chive brought his skull under the shadow of his hand, and then Felsen gave a slight rub on it.
When Chive felt the cordial nature from Felsen, he, with the help of his long neck, lugged Felsen to his back as he desired to say Felsen to sit on it. Felsen before getting on its back, peeked at the master as he was asking for permission.
"I think Chive has comprehended his master," said the master.
Felsen was bewildered about master words. Seeing his chaotic expression, the master explained to him. "Chive is the dragon that your father gifted you when you were born. He was in his shell (egg) then. He was so calm when he came out of his veneer, like our other pets. He grew up under his mother's pall. But after his mother passed away, the dragon became so boisterous. It is not startling that it is loving you because somewhere it is connected to you. It is your personal pet. Our king desired to see you both growing up together. He had wished that you will both grow up while playing with each other but...due to some reasons it couldn't happen. But I think that thing didn't weaken your connection with him. You can ride on it."
Felsen felt so pleased, and before riding on it he called Brick to join him.
"Me...," Brick responded surprisingly.
"Yes, you. Come on. Come with me," said Felsen with a warm smile.
Brick then likewise peeks at the master to ask him permission and the master permits him by nodding. And thus Brick also joins Felsen happily.
Brick and Felsen, both settled on Chive's rear and the dragon flew them away.
"Wow...! Aaa!" Felsen was sounding in joy as the dragon first brought them into the clouds. In the clouds, that sunny but not so bright light was looking so calming. The white clouds were like the yellow fairy floss with blue background and Chive then flew straight downward and flew until it was an inch upper the water's surface. That clear water seems so plain like a mirror.
"Brick, look at the water!! It is so plain as a mirror," Felsen shouted joyfully as the air was striking him which was causing tickling.
"Yes, this is amazing," behind Felsen, Brick also shouted joyfully.
And then Chive shower some water on them and flew them over beautiful trees and flowers. At last, Chive brought them to the top of the mountain and they settled there.
"Good job Chive," Felsen and Brick stroked his back. "I never knew that he would be calm again," Brick carried a few steps toward Felsen, and talked.
"Even I got scared for a second. I thought today is my last day," they both were standing in front of Chive, and as Felsen completed his words, Chive took his trunk to him and start playing with him.
After, Felsen and Brick when saw their surrounding, they found beautiful scenery, containing the whole beauty of the land of Felicity in one picture. The glow of the sun, hitting the castle and the rest cottages in front of it, with those trees which were showering greenery everywhere. That mirror-like lake encompassing the reflection of whole the scenery in it was no less than heaven.
"This is so beautiful," Felsen's eyes were telling the beauty of the scenery as the whole image was shining in his eyes.
"Yes, this is so amazing," Brick also spoke while lost in the magnificence of the land of Felicity.
The three settled there to enjoy the loveliness of the land.
"How can someone be hateful of this jim-dandy?" Felsen gave his emotions the form of words.
Squatting beside Felsen, Brick pressed his lips in dissatisfaction.
There was an awkward silence for a whole minute and then Felsen inhales deeply in the fresh air of the snowy mountain.
"I am missing my mom and dad so badly. Yesterday and the day before yesterday I saw them in my dream. My dad's last words which he said were, "Don't know when will our last meet." I became so sad after hearing his. I said I don't know about earth's rules but I will never leave you," Felsen finalized his words, and a drop of tear toured the path of his chin.
Brick fell his words and he seated his hand on Felsen's shoulder and huddled. Felsen, when glance at Brick, Brick brought his finger under his chin and carried the drop of slash on the tip of his index finger. The tear contains the image of its background as Brick took it in front. The land of Felicity and the rays of sunlight had converted a small drop of tear into the magical crystal.
"See your tears are so precious," said Brick because it was shining differently. Brick was so delighted after clasping his plunge of tear on his finger as he had won the whole macrocosm.
Felsen glanced at Brick and his smile hit something different to him and he felt someone is still here for him. Someone related to him, and he felt a connection with him. And then, he for a minute, overlooked all his trepidations like Brick's smile did some magic on him.
"You don't know how much eager I am to face Vicatan. It is like, I want him in front of me, now. I really loathe him, he slaughtered my mom, dad, and King and Queen of the land of Felicity and those people of here."
"Yes, and for that, you have to apprise yourself wholly because that fiend is dangerous. Our King and Queen quarreled with him but..."
Felsen nodded at Brick's words.
After a few seconds, Brick witnessed that Felsen is lost in profound reflection. He didn't disturb his caravan of pondering, but was eager to know what thing made Felsen think this way.
"Brick, can you clear one thing."
"Finally you spoke," said Brick looking at him. Supporting his face with his hand while squatting beside him.
"Huh!" Felsen reacted to his incoherent words.
"Nothing!! ask what is it?" Brick nodded.
"The night... when the master told me about all these, he said I was just birth, right?"
"Yes, no doubt."
"And then he said he delivered me to another orb because he had a trepidation that I am not unassailable, because, if Vicatan will know about me then he will assassinate me, Right."
"Correct..!!"
"And then he said, since then many conflicts transpired, many years ratified, can say a century. Right?"
"Right..!"
"No, wrong...!"
"Mean!!" deep lines seemed to be formed on his forehead, showing his dissatisfaction with Felsen's words.
"I mean...according to what the master said that it was the night everyone was celebrating that their King was a father now, and he said from then till now... is almost a century, and the incoherent point is...I am only 21, then how a century."
"Aaa!" Brick's perplexing facial muscles and frown on his head appeared to relax when he finally gets Felsen's words.
"So, you are saying that you are 21 and how it could be a century."
"Yes, don't you have an explanation for my question. I am not the right person. I am not the king's son."
"Well, it is not like this? I have a sweet and obvious answer to your concern that will clear your turmoil.
"Really!! then tell me how?"
