"Do you want to go on a date?"
"Why?"
"Because we're dating?" Owen's face looks so lost and Lucy almost burst out laughing at the unexpected response.
"That's not what I mean, but you do have a point."
Owen smirked proudly at himself even when she laughed at his answer.
"But don't you have something today? I have free time until noon because my shift will not start until 1:30."
"I'm free until noon, too." Lie. It was Wednesday, leg day.
"It's a date, then." Lucy starts packing the grocery bag again and puts it back inside the fridge.
"Where are we going, though?"
"Anywhere."
"What should I wear?"
"That."
Lucy looks at the clothes she's wearing. Both of them are in sweatpants and hoodies. She just noticed the matching outfit when Owen pointed at hers.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, sure." He smiles enthusiastically. "Let's go." He gets up front stool and heads right into the entranceway.
