Chapter Text
5 days later
"Ah ... the Valar don't stop Dany," Jon said moaning with pleasure he was lying on his bed while Daenerys was on top of him massaging his back with heated jasmine oil that filled the room with a pleasant aroma.
"It's a pleasure my white wolf ... I didn't think three days on the boat would make you so tense," Dany said, unable to resist making fun of her lover a bit, to which Jon growled.
They were currently in Jon's chambers in the Grey Havens, their journey from Harlond was a true ordeal as the sudden decision of Lady Írimë, and her servants to accompany them left Jon, Loras and Robar without their cabins.
Jon being courteous offered his cabin to Lady Írimë, while the servants took Robar and Loras's and the three Knights were forced to sleep on the deck as although Jon's lovers, as well as his sisters, had no qualms about sharing a bed with him, Jon didn't think it was fair to let Robar and Loras sleep outside while he slept comfortably in a bed. Warmed by one of his lovers. And they all respected Lord Cirdan and Glorfindel too much to annoy them with such a trivial concern.
So, the three knights had to sleep on the deck, well technically Loras and Robar did since they forced Jon to sleep in the most horrid place on the ship the gull's nest ... something Jon absolutely loathed but they had rightly pointed out that they were in this situation because Írimë had taken such an interest in him.
Though Jon failed to see how it was his fault, Lady Írimë and her servants decided to accompany them. She wished to learn the lore and history of the Seven Kingdoms.
But be that as it may, after three days of sleeping in that god's forsaken gull's nest Jon was wracked with pain.
"Loras and Robar are the culprits, they made me sleep in the lookout post" Jon growled bitterly to Daenerys' surprise.
"They forced you to sleep there? .. Why?" Dany asked surprised as she removed another knot from Jon's back, causing him to moan in appreciation.
"They blamed me because they had to give up their rooms to Lady Írimë's servants least they look unchivalrous ... I forced it on them with my courtesy, so I had to sleep in the gull's nest, or they would wait till I was asleep, and they would throw me overboard. "Jon growled in annoyance.
... well, that's true to some extent ... Daenerys thought with amusement.
"Truly, Daenerys? Lady Írimë wished to learn about Westeros and Essos they didn't come to pester me .." Jon said naively to which Daenerys only chuckled in annoyance as she began to descend to Jon's lower back.
Daenerys remembered very well that during their trip on the ship, the Ladies Ashara and Shiera confessed that they had slept with Jon to the annoyance of Dany and Rhaenys only to be calmed by Arianne since apparently, Jon told her first about his tryst with Shiera and Ashara, something that made Dany and Rhaenys upset with Jon. Still, they decided to put it aside for the moment when Arianne and Lady Ashara told them about Jon's true ambition, a harem, a harem that would love him as he loved them.
While Rhaenys and Arianne just blushed furiously and Dany, in particular, felt her small clothes dampen at the thought that she, Daenerys Targaryen Stormborn, a Princess who carried the blood of the Dragon, a conqueror, would be in the harem of her beloved nephew".
She should be furious and outraged by Jon's intentions for her to be part of a harem a Targaryen princess made into a concubine ... But to her shame... She felt rather excited ... Daenerys didn't know when she had become so ... Lustful, but it still didn't matter to her anymore.
There was only one problem with the harem, well two rather large problems, but the first was that Jon's cousins were too possessive of him, reluctantly all the Ladies could understand why ... They grew up believing they were siblings, only to discover they were cousins. That would have been fine if it weren't for the fact that they took up practically all of Jon's time since he was their sworn shield and occasional tutor when they had questions concerning Middle-earth. And those two annoying little wolves knew that they were taking away their time with Jon and on many occasions, they had seen them smile when they took their "brother" away from Daenerys and his other lovers ... If they weren't Jon's "sisters" she and Rhaenys would have already thrown them overboard when they travelled back to the Gray Havens.
The second problem and possibly the most vexing was the Lady Írimë. Finwë's daughter who did not part from Jon for the entirety of the voyage, asking him all kinds of questions about his life, such as his childhood in Winterfell and Highgarden, How did he become a knight? His meetings with Manwë? And how he had managed to win the favour of King Durin?
Jon answered all of Írimë's questions though it seemed for each question answered the ancient elf would ask ten more. At all times, the noble elf expressed happiness and curiosity when listening to Jon's stories about Westeros. Lady Írimë made sure that they did not disturb her time with Jon because every time someone from Westeros was going to bother them, one of the servants that the Lady brought with her would interrupt them by asking them to help with some menial task or council them on trivial issues.
That began to disturb her and Jon's other lovers because they understood that the interest of the beautiful elf in Jon was beginning to turn into something more. They knew it was not loving, but that was the most worrying for that could change in the future. They had already learned so much from the stories of the First Age to know perfectly well that the union of Elves and Men could end in tragedy.
Dany just hoped Lady Írimë wasn't fool enough to fall in love with Jon partly because of how tragic the end of their relationship could be and partly because neither she nor Jon's other lovers know how to compete with the beauty of Finwë's daughter.
Unfortunately, neither Lord Cirdan nor Lord Glorfindel seemed to notice Lady Írimë's growing affection for Jon, or perhaps they have and see no need to intervene.
... Or are they just too intimidated by her to tell her to stay away ... Dany thought with annoyance.
But the most significant issue was Jon, Jon, and his apparent inability to understand women's hearts and intentions.
... How can a warrior as mighty as my love be so dense when it comes to women, Though I shouldn't be surprised it took him two years to realise my affections and even then I had to tell him myself.
"You'll get over it someday ..." Dany muttered in annoyance.
"Did you say something, Dany?" Jon said, making Daenerys nervous.
"No, nothing ... just that you have a lot of knots in your back ... Ser Loras and Ser Robar need a lesson in humility," Dany said trying to divert Jon's attention.
"Yes, I'll think of something," Jon grumbled as his "aunt" sighed in relief.
"Oh, Jon ... have you thought about what to do with that Gryphon that followed you?" Daenerys asked interested as she found a giant knot in Jon's lower back, and after applying more oil, she began to massage with renewed vigour.
Jon only suppressed a moan of pleasure, the gryphon stayed in Harlond since he brought it from Tol Morwen, remaining in the gardens of King Gil-galad where he was treated with reverence and attended by the servants who were mesmerised by the creature, the fearsome and majestic animal allowed itself to be pampered by the gracious elves. However, sometimes it flew towards the sky to fulfil an unknown purpose it always returned.
The animal had not made any attempt to be near him after returning to Harlond, and because of this, Jon thought that the Gryphons task was done. But two days after he started to sail, the furious animal descended on the deck to astonishment and delight of the elves apparently his work with Jon had not been completed, and as a result, he had followed him to the ship claiming the deck as his own and although He allowed them to continue with their duties and but did not allow the elves to touch him.
It was a majestic, but vain and proud animal and did not seem to like him at all ... Honestly, the gryphon's behaviour reminded him of Theon Greyjoy.
Upon reaching the Gray Havens, the same thing happened as in Harlond, all the elves bowed to the gryphon, and the self-centred animal was the first off the ship, standing tall and proud with its wings unfurled it caused many of the elves to bow in reverence.
Jon just wanted to hit himself on the head when he watched the gryphon act that way ... Why would Lord Manwë send this overbearing animal as his companion? ... He already had Ghost.
"Who knows Dany, the only thing I know is that this gryphon is here on Lord Manwë's orders and that it is an intelligent, cunning, vain and arrogant animal," Jon said with annoyance.
"He's here for a reason, maybe if you treat him better?" Dany suggested as she removed the giant knot from Jon's back.
"The last time I tried he simply ignored me," Jon said grumpily as Dany smiled.
"Well my white wolf, let's forget that for now," Dany said all the while huskily planting kisses along his neck.
"My dragon Princess you are insatiable ..." Jon said, turning to see the cheeky smile on the face of his beloved aunt.
After a few more kisses, Dany returned him to his prone position and continued massaging his back and shoulders while planting love bites across his neck.
... Where was the shy and gentle Daenerys? ... Jon thought with satisfaction, waiting for the knots in his back to disappear so that he could take Dany over and over again throughout the night.
-------------------------
The arrival of the Lady Írimë was a pleasant surprise for the inhabitants of Mithlond especially for the male elves of marriageable age who, to the annoyance of the Lady and the amusement of Jon's lovers, did precisely the same as the nobles of Harlond ... trying her favour with gifts or stories of deeds from their families, Lady Írimë lived up to her rank and responded courteously whenever a nobleman conversed with her. Still, the weariness in her voice was evident.
To the annoyance of Jon's mistresses, as well as Sansa and Arya, Finwë's daughter repeatedly used Jon as an excuse for annoying suitors by saying that the "Emissary of the Valar" will instruct her in the knowledge of the Outer Lands and promptly returned to the White Tower of Cirdan accompanied by her servants before one of her suitors offered to accompany her.
However, Írimë had only stayed in Mithlond for two months at the most lest she hears the wailing gulls and be consumed by the Sea-longing though to Círdan surprise it appeared Finwë's daughter seemed to have no intention of leaving.
As for Jon and the others, life in the Gray Havens continued as always, they focused on their studies on philosophy, geography, Customs language, healing, war, but now it included a new lesson for the young knights ... Politics.
Politics was a tricky field for the young Westerosi, with Queen Rhaella and Ladies Ashara and Shiera being the only ones who were exempt from such lessons as they had demonstrated outstanding mastery in the field as expected from their positions.
But for Jon, Loras, Daenerys, Rhaenys and Robar, studying it in such depth was complicated, Robar who thanks to his father Yohn Royce was the only one who had a basic grasp of the politics of the kingdoms though that did little for him so far from the game of thrones.
In particular, Jon loathed politics being raised by the most inept man in the kingdoms who thought honour would solve everything did little to ingratiate him to the machinations of court and Lord Mace could do little as the man had no real knowledge preferring to leave everything to Olenna the cunning shrew that she was. But Jon knew that his uncle and cousin Robb died due to their stubbornness and refusal to see the evil of the kingdoms. Jon decided to put aside his dislike of politics and learn what he could about using intrigue, words, and wit to make others listen to you and, if necessary, follow you.
More flies are attracted with honey than with vinegar ... That phrase had been said by Willas in Highgarden to Jon and Loras on one of the occasions he found them studying in the library after failing to learn the lessons of Highgarden's Maester.
For their part, Sansa and Arya finally managed to master Quenya and began with Aduanico, the language of the men of Númenor.
The Stark sisters finally began to study the Second Age and the kingdom of Númenor, whose first king was Lord Elrond's brother, Elros.
Both Sansa and Arya were surprised to discover the story of the mightiest kingdom in the history of Arda, both in the history of its founding and its inhabitants' long lives. Still, they were even more surprised when Sansa deduced that Lady Shiera must have had Numenorean blood as she had not aged in decades, something that the sea maiden later confirmed with a smile when she realised that the girls were learning.
However when they learned the story of Sauron in the wars of the First Age and the "Rings of Power" they felt true fear, knowing that such an evil and powerful being really existed, especially when both girls discovered the history of the "Ringwraiths" the Nazgul, which had been nine great kings who had been deceived by Sauron corrupted by the rings he gave them.
But their fear turned into horrible anguish when they were told that Jon possessed one of the rings of power, Narya "The Ring of Fire" and that he would become enslaved to the one if Sauron should discover him using it. But their fears were calmed as Jon explained that to be corrupted by Sauron's "One Ring" it was necessary to use one of the rings of power and that he had not used Narya "The enemy" did not know about his existence.
Sansa and Arya hugged Jon desperately and crying they tried to make him swear not to use the ring, but Jon could not make that promise because he explained that that ring was a gift from the Valar and they gave it to him because they knew that at some point he would have to use it.
Though Jon's words did nothing but fill the hearts of Sansa and Arya with unease.
----------
Finally, after arduous training and exhausting lessons, another year had passed for Jon and his companions since they arrived in the Gray Havens, in which thanks to their efforts they had honed all the skills that Cirdan, Glorfindel and the tutors taught them.
According to Lord Cirdan now Jon, Loras and Robar could build ships with the akin to the faithful, fast, light and extremely resistant, in addition to their skill at arms had greatly improved, especially the Princess Daenarys who now carried a great bow, almost of her own height, and a great quiver of long green-feathered arrows and Rhaenys who had mastered the use of Tuor's mighty axe even Arianne became a true Dornish maiden carrying a tall spear of ash and a painted shield of oak. They had become formidable warriors Glorfindel thought they would soon match the skills of the nobles of Gondolin. If an elf such as Glorfindel praises your martial skill, that was high praise indeed.
Queen Rhaella and the Ladies Shiera and Ashara had become extraordinary healers, possessing a keen knowledge of plants and poultices especially the plant called "Athelas" A healing herb whose leaf is known for its refreshing fragrance and powers to cleanse wounds and to heal the Black Shadow; imported from Númenor to Middle-earth, it grows only where the faithful dwell, And when the fragrance of athelas stole through the room, like the scent of orchards, and of heather in the sunshine full of bees.
Upon learning this, the Ladies Ashara and Shiera, as well as Queen Rhaella, set out to learn from their mentors everything necessary about the Athelas to know how to recognise it and use it in case of need and for this reason, they were now able to create ointments and poultices so strong that they would shame the Archmaester and his entire order with their skill in healing.
It was clear that in the three and a half years they had lived in the Gray Havens, the Westerosi had grown in body, mind and spirit. Although some more than others.
Thanks to the healing elves Sansa and Arya they had already recovered for the most part from the horrors they experienced because of the Lannisters, and learning virtues such as patience and tranquillity, allowing both girls to become much more mature, cautious and calm, but alas time rarely heals all wounds, and they would carry the hurt in their hurt for the rest of their days.
The character of both had also changed, in addition to their new patience and serenity, both began to mature, slowly. Still, the change was visible to everyone, Sansa was no longer gossipy and was much more humble beginning to train as a healer as well, and her knitting had become so good under Aveneri's guidance that it was even better than that of Queen Rhaella and Lady Ashara.
Arya's character was mostly still the same, but everyone could perceive a change, she was still aggressive and had an aversion to the typical activities of a Lady now she was much calmer, and it was no longer her first impulse to use needle to poke holes in those who bothered her and had rid herself of the darkness that had plagued her mind.
Of the two Stark girls, healing Arya's spirit was by far the greatest challenge for the elves of the Gray Havens, as neither imagined the full extent of the damage until Sansa told them that Arya had acquired a sinister habit during her journey. Arya was subjected to many horrors while she travelled through the Riverlands seeing first hand the cruelty of war something no child should ever see. Her fiery and impulsive personality prompted her to take the initiative and fight for her life, so sadly, the little wolf was forced to kill various people and ultimately made a list of those she wished to execute.
When the Westerosi and the elves found out about this, they were wholly horrified, to the point where the Jon and the Ladies wept as they imagined the horrors Arya had seen and experienced.
Sadly the elves claimed that it was likely that they would not fully recover from their horrible experiences unless they visited the Lorien Gardens in Aman, which unfortunately was impossible.
But although that discouraged Jon, he thanked Sansa and Arya's healers for all their efforts as they seemed to be far happier than he had seen in a long time.
... Damn the lions, the Freys and the Boltons, may the justice of the Valar come to them for all they have done ... And I hope to be there to see it ...
Also, Jon had tried to learn to control his powers as "Skin-changer" so that what happened with Lady Galadriel would not be repeated, and he had gained some mastery of his powers though he was far from a true skin-changer, he could easily control most animals, but some such as bears and eagles were strong-willed and rather cunning, so Jon knew he had to be careful.
The elves were eager to help not only to help him for being an envoy of the Valar but also to learn new lore from the lands west of west, Shiera also helped Jon as much as she could by sharing all her knowledge regarding the Skinchangers, and both took the opportunity to be together in breaks sometimes letting themselves be carried away by passion.
But unfortunately, Jon had already realised that his time in the Gray Havens was coming to an end, he knew that he could continue learning from the Eldar all his life. Still, unlike his mentors, he and his companions would fade from this world whether, by the sword or the bitterness of mortality, they had made many friends, and they had been fallen in love with the Havens, but Jon knew they must. TheValar had sent them on a quest, and it was time to fulfil it.
Jon felt it fervently in his heart ... It was time to look for "The Faithful".
---------------------------
During the following days, Jon began to subtly withdraw from his companions and his lovers trying to find the best way to tell Lord Cirdan to his friends that the time had come to go to meet King Elendil. The decision was not easy to make because the Gray Havens had become a home for everyone, one where they could learn and rest or simply be happy, giving up all of to once again march to war Jon truly didn't know if he had it in his heart. To ask his friends to renounce the happiness and peace they had found there ... It was something that made his spirit ache, and he had no doubt that it would hurt others too ... But the time had come.
Jon sighed as he stood on the seashore standing under the light of the moon and the stars, as always the sound of the surf and crashing waves soothed his troubled heart.
... Lord Ulmo, I do not know if my hunch is correct, there are still many things I can learn from Lord Cirdan and Lord Glorfindel ... But I feel that our time here ... is over, I feel that it is time to leave. .. My friends and sisters will follow me as they have done so far ... Then why do I have such doubts? .. Do I feel guilty for taking away the happiness and calm that they have found here? ... Or does he not wants to go is me? ...
"Jon? ... Is something wrong?"
Arianne's voice brought Jon out of his thoughts, and he turned to see his Dornish Princess, wearing a dress the colour of autumn leaves that did little to cover her exuberant bust and wore her hair in an elegant braid upon her brow was a crown of lilies she looked stunning.
"Ari.. what are you doing here?" Jon asked, confused.
"Looking for you, you have been behaving in a pensive and gloomy way for days, when that happens it is because you are troubled by something, and so you come here," Said the former heiress of Sunspear walking next to her love and placing a hand upon his shoulder.
"You know me too well," Jon said, unable to hide a smile as snaked his hand around her waist.
"Tell me what troubles you so?" Arianne asked, placing her head on her lover's left shoulder.
"For days, my heart has been disquiet... I have tried to ignore it ... But ... I can no longer contain it. Arianne, it's time" Jon said, returning his gaze to the confused face of one of his Dornish queen.
"Is it time? .. for what?" Arianne asked.
"If we leave the Gray Havens, we must go find 'The Faithful' and King Elendil," Jon said while she only sighed.
"I knew that one day this moment would come, a part of me hoped not ... But I knew it would come ... When will you tell the rest?" I ask interested.
"Today during dinner ... I know it's abrupt and hasty ... But if I don't, I won't have it in my heart to ever do it ... I've also become fond of this place ... It's like a home for me, and I know that for you too ... But we were sent to fulfil a task. It's time to venture south and seek the Numenoreans "Jon said with authority.
Seeing his determination, Arianne smiled resignedly, realising that her beloved Dragon had already made his decision.
"Yes, you're right. You must tell everyone as soon as possible... I hope to see you at dinner soon, my love. Don't delay" Arianne said kissing him on the cheek bringing a smile to Jon's face.
Jon just watched the ocean waves crash against the shore for a few more minutes as he calmed down and pondered what he would do next.
... This will be a long night ... Jon thought wearily.
-------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------
After a quiet dinner, Jon asked Lord Cirdan to please receive them in his study because he needed to talk to everyone about a matter of utmost importance. Cirdan already suspected what Jon was going to tell them and although the thought of them leaving saddened him great as he held a great deal of affection for the Westerosi, especially Jon ... But he knew that the will of the Valar was absolute.
Cirdan nodded, and after dinner and everyone finished their business, they went to the study of the Lord of the Gray Havens confused and curious as to what reason Jon would have to call them.
"Excellent Jon, we are here ... What do you want to tell your companions and your family?" Lord Cirdan asked, sitting behind his desk with Glorfindel and Lady Írimë at his side.
. "Thank you Lord Cirdan, the reason for asking everyone to come is to tell you ... I'm sorry if this is sudden and difficult, but I have felt it in my heart."
"What have you felt, Jon?" Lady Ashara asked, somewhat concerned.
"The disquiet my Lady, the desire to travel, to continue our task, I have felt this since we returned from Gil-galad's court, and I tried to ignore it ... But I am sure ... It is time to leave the Gray Ports" Jon said without hesitation leaving everyone with the exceptions of Cirdan and Glorfindel shocked.
"How? Why?" Rhaenys asked, confused.
"Because Rhaenys, it is time to go and find" The Faithful "we have stayed here for almost four years, we have learned a great deal... But it is time to continue our journey ... Lord Cirdan, Master Glorfindel, No words can express my thanks you have given us a great many things, I will not forget this ... But it is time for our paths to part at least for now "Jon said with genuine sadness of having to part ways with his mentors, but he knew that was inevitable.
"Are you sure, Jon?" Loras asked clearly shocked by his brothers choice.
"Unfortunately yes, Loras, I am truly saddened, I know that you would like to stay. I would also like to reside here until the world has faded, and we greet noble Eru ... But alas fate is cruel and the time has come for us to seek out my kindred in the South we must find Elendil the fair, I'm sure" Jon said, lowering his head sadly.
"But ..." Arya started to say but stopped when she saw the sad expression on Jon's face.
"This is very sudden my boy ..." Queen Rhaella said surprised still assimilating Jon's decision.
"True, but what Jon says makes sense Queen Rhaella. Lord Manwë wants us to carry our task in Middle Earth with "The Faithful" and their king Elendil "the high", our attention has been diverted to other matters and our training ... But this has always been the will of the Valar, "Ser Robar said with his hand on his chin.
"In a sense, we should have expected this, we have been here for almost four years," Loras said with resignation.
Nobody in Cirdan's study said anything for a few moments until the Lord of the Gray Havens got up and approached Jon to give him a hug as the noble "Shipbuilder" knew the desires of the Valar were absolute and even more so the desires of the heart.
"I knew this moment would come sooner or later since after all my work was only to prepare them as best as possible and then let them go ... Still it is painful, I thank the Valar for having left them in my charge because I have seen them grow and mature and although I would like everyone to stay a little longer. I see in your eyes the desire to travel, a look that I know all too well, so I have no choice but to wish you a good trip and remind you that you will always have a home here "said Cirdan shedding tears of sadness and pride.
Jon returned the hug until he felt a hand on his shoulder and returned his gaze to his weapons master.
"Master…"
"I suppose you are right ... Sooner or later they should leave, it is a pity that they leave this place, I would like them to stay longer, but I see in your eyes that this decision has already been made ... So you only leave me one choice, "Said the former noble Gondolin with a smile.
"Teacher?" Jon asked, confused.
"I will take you to Annúminas to finally meet Elendil and his sons Princes Isildur and Anarion ... Once there I will stay with you a little longer to fulfil my promise to Lady Arya," Glorfindel said looking at an astonished Arya with a smile.
"Your promise my lord?" The little wolf asked, blinking in surprise to which Glorfindel gave a small laugh.
"Yes, my young Lady, when I met you, I promised to make you a warrior worthy of the songs, do you not remember?" Asked Glorfindel amused.
Hearing and understanding the ancient elf's words Arya's face lit up with joy upon hearing that Glorfindel would finally train her, and she nodded quickly to everyone's amusement.
"But are you sure about this master? ... You have been training us for almost four years, who knows how much longer it shall take to instruct little Arya? Will King Gil-galad not be bothered by your absence?" Loras asked, effortlessly dodging Arya's attempt to hit him.
"Do not worry about Loras, we elves measure time in a different way than you and also King Gil-galad is very patient, he cares little for how long I am away, I leave that to my discretion and a century is but a blink to an elf, "said Glorfindel.
... And a century is practically a whole life for us ... Jon thought as he recalled the differences between the two lineages of the "Children of Ilúvatar again".
"So is it a fact that we will continue our journey?" Rhaenys asked, looking at Jon anxiously.
"Yes Rhaenys, it is a fact ... We will leave in three days," Jon said with a tired expression.
"In that case, you must go to rest and prepare for the trip" Cirdan replied sitting in his chair.
"Yes, with your permission I will do that my Lord" Jon confirmed, and all Westerosi gave off an air of sadness as they began to leave the study to prepare to leave for Annúminas.
However, someone in the study did not share Cirdan and Glorfindel's opinion about letting Jon and his companions go.
When Írimë went to Cirdan's study why Jon had told them that he wanted to tell them something of utmost importance, she never believed it would be to tell them that soon he and his fellow soldiers, concubines and his little sisters would continue their journey.
The noble and ancient elf already knew, all the elves knew that sooner or later the "Emissaries of the Valar" would continue with their mission whatever it may be.
However, this last year ... Things had changed a lot for her and Írimë couldn't be more confused.
She had already satisfied her curiosity about Jon Snow many months ago. She learned about his time in Winterfell and Highgarden, his relationship with his blood family and his adoptive family, the betrayal of his first lover and how he had met his companions and lovers before arriving on the shore of Middle-earth.
His story was a tragedy, for the most part, both due to the circumstances of his birth and the negligence of his guardian, his uncle Eddard Stark and the disdain of those who believed him to be a vile and wretched this simply because he was a bastard.
But that was not what had come to captivate Finwë's daughter, what made Jon Snow so unique in the eyes of the Noldorian Princess was the nobility of his spirit.
He had been mistreated, undervalued, belittled, cast aside like an old rag by all who live in the land where he was born and ... Still retaining the nobility and greatness of his spirit, Írimë has come to know Jon wholly and intimately, for this reason, Írimë knows that Jon is humble, not seeking glory nor fame nor great wealth, he only seeks to live in peace with his loved ones, he is kind. His heart is full of compassion and love for his sisters, friends and lovers.
In all the Ages that she has lived in Arda Írimë, she has never met an elf nor dwarf nor a man who had suffered so greatly and not given into darkness.
He is very solemn, severe and cautious, he can even be considered brooding, and to Írimë's amusement, Jon is quick enough to feel a slight, Jon is also very observant a trait that according to him he developed because of his bastard upbringing. He is a capable rider and is a great warrior after being instructed by Glorfindel.
However, Jon is definitely not perfect as he himself ended up confessing after a few months of acknowledging their friendship Jon had been resentful of his bastard upbringing for most of his life although since he came to Middle-earth that had faded, he also told her that when he was young, he wished to be like his uncle Eddard Stark and be considered honourable like him and that as a child he often dreamed that one day he would lead men to glory, or even become a conqueror though since his tutelage under Cirdan he realised that such dreams were fantasies and childish, and that of being a conqueror was something barbaric and cruel, after all, in Middle-earth, his relatives built prosperous and powerful kingdoms without need to invade anything.
But the most extraordinary thing is that despite all this, Jon's spirit, on the contrary, despite the difficulties, anguish, rejections, betrayals and tragedies that he has experienced throughout his short life ... It has not been corrupted, by bitterness, jealousy and pain, even acquiring a sense of own honour very different from that of his uncle Jon was more akin to the heroes of the first age and the great Numenoreans of Elros line, that is in the opinion of the "daughter of Indis" the most extraordinary and that is why Írimë does not want to be parted from the young Dragon since she wished to see all that he would achieve in the service of Elendil.
Well, surprisingly, the Princess of the Noldor has grown enormously fond of that young mortal ... And now she does not want to be separated from him, she wants to see the end of his journey for herself, she wants to be there to help him, advise him, take care of him, give him comfort. Írimë, the daughter of Finwë and Indis intends to stay with Jon Snow until he must leave Arda for the "Mortal Destiny of Men".
And the daughter of Finwë and Indis will not let anyone separate the object of her affection and admiration from her.
At that moment, the Elf Princess was so shocked by what she had just thought that her mouth was left ajar.
At what point did this young mortal become so important to her that she will fiercely face whoever tries to take him away from her?
That's when her niece's words came to mind.
... If you don't stop this search for knowledge, your desire to know everything about him ... you will never be able to stop ...
... Dear niece ... I should have listened to you ... I can no longer stop, I have learned everything I wanted about him ... But I still desire more, after having seen and learned of the greatness of his spirit ... I wish to see him reach greatness with my own eyes, I'm sorry ... But it seems that age did not make me wiser ... Like Lúthien and Idril ... to think a man would captivate me so... But I don't know if only it is admiration or genuine affection ... Alas he already bears to love of many, Írimë thought with melancholy.
And it is that since her old love rejected her after discovering the horrible actions of her half brother Fëanor and his hosts in Alqualondë, she did not want to know anything about love, she did not feel that she had the strength to love again despite the efforts of her mother, sister and brother to help her heal, Írimë preferred to remain single as long as possible, because the very idea of going through something similar again was overwhelming, in addition to the fact that she felt that in her heart she still held affection for her former fiancé. She thought it wasn't fair for someone to marry her if she couldn't try to love him.
For this reason, she decided to return to Middle-earth to overcome her feelings of anguish, but there Írimë was constantly harassed by incessant and annoying suitors in the Court of her nephew. For the longest time, she thought nothing of note would happen, and she would simply spend her time at court until she wished to return to the blessed realm ... That was until she heard that the Valar had summoned strangers from the Outer Lands, a group of young mortals ... And one of them had been given the sword of her beloved brother Fingolfin, Ringil the blessed blade lost beneath the waves centuries ago in a darker age.
She had to meet that mortal who had the favour of the Valar and wanted to know why they had taken such a keen interest in this young man's affairs and why they bestowed unto him the only weapon capable of wounding the "Great Enemy".
That is why she came to Lindon to meet that person, although she had her doubts ... The noble elf has convinced herself of the value of that young man, not because of his talent in battle, he ... He has something, attractive about him, something that makes her want to support him, And Valar willing fight at his side.
Glorfindel had told her that Jon won the friendship and favour of Durin IV, by demonstrating his humility and desire to learn more than the desire to claim riches, an achievement that can be considered exceptional since Írimë knew the Lord of Khazad-Dûm was not the easiest to deal with that led her to initially think that Ringil's new wielder might be as dirty and uncouth as a dwarf.
But she couldn't have been more wrong.
He was a young mortal who had not yet matured but conveyed an air of loneliness and melancholy despite being surrounded by friends and concubines that only caused her interest in the young northerner to steadily grown, so Írimë decided to follow him to Mithload, and after a year she could say she had become a friend and confidant, Írimë satisfied her curiosity about him ... So why not wish him well and return to Harlond?
... Because Galadriel was right, you did not stop your search for knowledge in time ..., And now you are ... Infatuated with him ... Or maybe you went. Further, you let yourself be captivated by a man just as Lúthien and Idril were captivated ...
Despite being terrifying, the mere thought led Írimë to get excited and put a hand to her heart, she knew very well the tragic fate with which unions between elves and men usually end, so the Princess of the Noldor never believed she would be in such a precarious situation.
… But do I really love him?… Or do I just admire and appreciate him as a friend? What doubts does my heart harbour... Oh by the Valar, how could I be so foolish? ...
Tears began to flow from her eyes as the beautiful elf mentally rebuked her foolishness because the doubt of not recognising her own feelings was drowning her, and for the first time in more than millennia she felt at a crossroads.
Returning to Harlond with Gil-galad would mean forgetting Jon forever because then he was never more than a friend to her ... But if she chose to go to Annúminas with him and the others, it means that he is much more valuable to her than she could dare to believe ... And she would not see her relatives again for an incomprehensibly long time.
Both decisions were heartbreaking, but they were decisions that the daughter of Finwë had to make and they were decisions that would shape her future because in her heart she felt that it would not matter what decision Írimë would make, there would be no turning back and she would never be the same.
She just looked at the door Jon was leaving and for a few moments had the urge to stop him, to talk to him, but decided against it so she could organise her feelings.
... What am I going to do? ... The Princess of the Noldor wondered.
... Whatever your heart dictates ... Because you won't listen to your mind anymore ... The voice inside her with such surety she couldn't find it in herself to argue.
Írimë said goodbye to Cirdan and Glorfindel and went to her room to sleep because she was mentally and spiritually fatigued and wanted rest.
-----------------
Within three days, the Westerosi were ready to depart as all the inhabitants of the Gray Havens led by Lord Cirdan dismissed them in a multitude of tears and words of encouragement.
"Well, here, at last, dear friends, on the shores of the Sea comes the end of our fellowship. Go in peace," The Lord of the Gray Havens said sadly.
"For now perhaps, but not forever ... I have no words to thank you for everything you have done for us Lord Cirdan, even if you say you did it to fulfil the designs of the Valar ... On behalf of all of us, thank you "Jon said bowing deeply to the old elf.
"Jon my boy ... I have no words to express the pride that you and your companions have made me feel in these four years, you have grown, matured, learned, suffered and overcome ... Seeing them like this makes me want to take a step back to appreciate your growth well ... I am satisfied and when you return I will be ever eager to hear of the glories and tales you have to share farewell friends," Cirdan said with tears in his eyes shining like stars and a look of fierce pride on his face watching to Westerosi with satisfaction.
In turn, each companion thanked the "Shipwright" for his hospitality, and after wishing each other well, the men mounted their horses while the ladies were hurried into a large opulent carriage they also had a small company of Noldrian knights to accompany them each tall, fair and fierce-eyed with great bows and valiant swords.
They weren't seven minutes down the path before a great carriage thundered alongside them the carriage in question bore the crest of the House of Finwë, a carriage that everyone knew very well.
Lady Írimë emerged from the carriage wearing a sky blue lace dress that revealed her curvy figure.
"I am sorry to prevent your departure and what I am going to ask of you is very sudden ... But ... I want to join the" Emissaries of the Valar on their journey ", as my heart tells me that I must follow them in their search for" The Faithful, "said the noble elf with a determined expression.
The surprise of the Westerosi as well as that of the elves who heard it was palpable.
"My lady?" Lord Glorfindel asked in dismay.
"The road is perilous... You need the permission of King Gil-galad" Glorfindel replied, incredulous that Lady Írimë will go so far as to be by Jon's side.
Since the Lady travelled with them to Mithlond, the two elven elders had closely observed the curious behaviour of the Noldorian Princess, as well as the closeness she developed with Jon, something she insisted, was just curiosity. Neither of them dared to question her lest they earn the ire of the daughter of Finwë, it was apparent that Lady Írimë's curiosity had been sated and now she spent a great deal of time with Jon, too much if they spoke frankly, and whenever he was close to her, the Lady's expression would light up and when he was parted from her for a prolonged period, Írimë turned rather cold and gloomy.
Perhaps not even the Lady herself had realised what was in her heart, but Cirdan and Glorfindel knew as this was all too familiar they had seen the courting between men and elves this was akin to Beren and Lúthien as well as Tuor and Idril.
Both had shared love as pure as the light of the two trees, and at least one of them had a happy ending, the other had a tragic end.
"I'll go with you, Lord Glorfindel ... who better to guard me than the lord of Golden Flowers?" The Lady replied.
"But ... Princess Írimë ... Why do you wish to accompany is? "This journey shall be perilous and arduous" ... What do you expect to find? " Jon asked, confused and worried as he didn't wish for any harm to come to the Lady Írimë he had grown quite fond of her over the past year.
"Because I feel that I must Jon, it is a fervent desire in my heart ... Something that you should understand because you are letting yourself be guided by one right now" Írimë replied in a stern tone that left the young Westerosi in silence.
The Noldorian Princess smiled at the effect her words had on Jon.
"King Gil-galad will not be happy ..." Glorfindel said with a sigh as Írimë smiled.
"You speak truly, but I'm already over six millennia-old, I'm not a girl ... So ... Are we going now?" Finwë's daughter said impatiently.
For a moment no one said anything because they really didn't want to contradict the Princess of the Noldor, but Jon approached her with a stern expression, and although she was slightly taller than him, Jon did not look inferior to her.
"I do not know what is motivating her to do all this, I do not like it at all ... But I am nobody to impose on you will, my Lady, so I will only ask you to reconsider and if that is not enough ... Then ... Do what you wish, but please don't put yourself in danger. "Jon said with authority and Írimë for a few moments was intimidated by the young warrior.
... There is no doubt that he can act as a leader when necessary ... But I will not be scared I am the Daughter of Finwë the First Great King of the Noldor and Indis the niece of King Ingwë the Great King of the Elves… thought the noble elf with pride and smiling confidently and to everyone's surprise, she took Jon's hands gently.
... His hands are strong but very soft ... Thought Írimë amazed
"Don't worry Jon, I'm not a shy maiden I know what to do when I'm in danger ... Although it warms my heart to see such concern for my well being ... Maybe you should stay by my side?" Said the beautiful elf hoping to provoke the young mortal in front of her.
Jon's face flushed deeply, and he wanted to speak, but the words did not come out of his mouth. The simple act of touching the warm and soft skin of the beautiful elf made his will crumble, which filled his lovers with bitterness and jealously as they knew what the daughter of Finwë intended.
"Do what you wish, my lady" Jon replied, nervous and embarrassed while the Írimë just laughed.
The sound of Írimë's laughter sounded like the clanging of soft bells and filled Jon with calm and happiness.
Another one, Loras and Robar, thought simultaneously, sighing wearily as they also guessed the true intentions of Finwë's daughter.
"In that case, let's go, and if you want Jon, you can accompany me inside my carriage," Said the beautiful elf with courtesy ... One that she did not offer to anyone else. That only set off alarms in Jon's lovers' minds and Sansa and Arya, which only increased the Westerosi Ladies' antipathy and jealousy towards Fingolfin's sister. Especially those of Rhaenys who gripped Tuor's axe with force fantasising for a moment about throwing it at that annoying elf who was trying to take away her younger sibling.
"Thank you, my lady, but, I'll go on horseback, my Lady" replied Jon, politely declining the offer to the disappointment of the beautiful elf but she quickly masked it and nodded.
"Very well then ... Lord Cirdan I deeply appreciate your hospitality, but it is time to part," Írimë said, approaching the "Shipwright", first making a slight bow and taking his hands gently but not with the same affection and care as with Jon so that Cirdan could only understand what was in the heart of the Lady.
"I fear that my Lady," The old elf said sadly.
"But do not feel so sad my old friend ... Well, I know we will meet again," Said the beautiful elf with kindness kissing Cirdan's forehead and then returning to her carriage.
... Oh my Lady, fate is once again cruel to the House of Finwë because I am terrified that my young protégé has managed to introduce himself to your heart even if you do not know it yourself or perhaps, what a pity that whoever managed to open your heart again be someone who will not be in this world for long ... May the Valar have mercy on you ... The fate that follows the unions between the firstborn and the second born is often cruel and tragic ...
The Lord of the Gray Havens thought wistfully as he watched the group of men and elves depart for the capital of Arnor.
----------------------------------------
The journey to Annúminas was long, tumultuous, but mostly peaceful, and despite the cold climate of the North of Middle-earth, the landscapes were lush and beautiful, easing the boredom of all travellers. The gryphon that had brought Jon back to Harlond also went with them, the animal flew in the sky during the day, and at night it would rest by the campfire warming his feathers and dining on a roasted pig.
Several weeks had passed since they left the Gray Ports and according to Glorfindel and one of Írimë's servants they were already halfway there, but they could no longer advance not only because of fatigue and at that moment construction was beginning a camp in which Jon, Loras and Robar went fishing in a nearby lake and gathering berries. At the same time, Írimë's carriage driver prepared a fire, and his servants prepared their tents and that of their Lady.
At that moment, the beautiful elf was contemplating the last traces of sunlight while waiting for the return of Jon and his companions.
"Excuse me ... Lady Írimë ... May I speak with you?" A voice came from behind, and Írimë realised that it was Jon's grandmother, Rhaella Targaryen, the ancient queen of Westeros.
"Queen Rhaella ..." The beautiful elf replied with a nod.
"Sorry to bother ... But I need to talk to you about something very important my Lady" The mortal queen requested and the Princess of the Noldor nodded.
"Let's go to my Tent."
Both women went to Írimë's tent, and the Princess of the Noldor dismissed her servants, intuiting what the conversation was about.
"Very good ... What do you want to talk about?" Írimë asked although he already knew what the queen was going to talk about.
"I want to know what interest do you have in my grandson?" The dowager queen asked without hiding it, something Írimë liked.
"Honestly ... I don't know," The Noldorian Princess said with a sigh as Jon's grandmother arched an incredulous eyebrow.
"Don't know?"
"No ... I know what you must be thinking, that ... I just want Jon as a toy, but I assure you that this is not so. .. I ... I truly do not understand my own feelings" Said the beautiful elf with a sad smile.
"How is that?" Queen Rhaella asked more gently as she saw the truth of her words in Írimë's eyes.
"You must understand that for my people ... Understanding our feelings is not easy, elves live forever unless we are killed, or grief destroys our spirit ... That is why in many ways, it takes us longer to grow in body and spirit then men, it takes us much longer to understand our nature, the same happens with our feelings, we can spend centuries without knowing if we love someone or just admire them, with my previous fiancé it happened, it took 200 years for me to realise that I loved him. .. In that respect, I am jealous of you mortals "Said the noble elf with a sad smile.
The widow of Aerys Targaryen did not know how to answer as she was aware of the cruel realities of elven immortality.
"Is that how you feel about Jon? .. Admiration" Rhaella asked hopefully as then she had nothing to worry about.
"I ... I ... I don't know", replied Finwë's daughter resigned, destroying Rhaella's hopes that something will not happen between her grandson and the elf.
"What else could I feel? ... Jon is not even 20 years old, he has known him for just over a year ... And she tells me that she doesn't know what he means to you?" The former queen asked now with steel in her voice.
Hearing her, Írimë's face hardened, queen or not, this mortal woman will not speak in that way to a Princess of the Noldor.
"Take care of your words Rhaella Targaryen, I do not have to give you explanations nor are you, anyone, to demand them if you do not understand that I will ask you to leave my tent," Írimë said with a threatening voice of steel, but the Dowager Queen was not intimidated, but still thus she recognised that she went too far in wanting to pressure the elf princess.
"I apologise, I realise that I was rude and insolent with you my Lady, it is just that I know perfectly well how the unions of Elves and Men often end in tragedy ... And I do not want that for my grandson, I have seen how you look at him, and I have seen him getting closer to you ... I don't want him to suffer ... He has already suffered far too much, "Said the Targaryen queen with real concern on her face.
Seeing that woman like this relaxed Írimë's face, who once again softened his voice and gaze.
"I know, I know that his life has been marked by war, betrayal, pain and loss but you must believe me that the last thing I want is to cause Jon harm," Said the noble elf gently taking Rhaella by the hands.
"So can you promise me that you are merely friends and they will be nothing more, at least from you?" The dragon widow asked, hopefully.
But Írime surprised by request but shifted his gaze to the ground and did not answer, Rhaella thus realised that Princess Noldor was indeed interested in her grandson although Írime itself was not entirely sure of it yet.
"I see you acting too late…" Queen Rhaella said wearily.
"I'm very sorry ... I ... I never thought I was in this situation ... Like Lúthien and Idril ... I don't know if I'm in love with your grandson or if I just admire, I just know that he is very dear to my heart. "Said the daughter of Indis shedding tears.
Seeing her so sad Rhaella felt compassion for the old elf woman and comforted her until they heard a knock at the entrance.
"Go ahead," Írimë said, gathering herself.
One of Írimë's servants entered.
"My Lady, the warriors Jon Snow, Loras Tyrell and Robar Royce returned with a lot of fish, we already started to season it, dinner will be ready soon," Said the elf with respect.
"Thank you, let me know when supper is ready ."
"As you wish, but there is something else", replied the elf.
"What is it ?" Írimë asked curiously.
"The mortal Ladies who were called by the Valar want to speak to you my Ladies, the guards are holding them back ... But they insist on entering, what do you want us to do with them?" Asked the elf.
Both the elven princess and the dowager queen looked confused ... Although Írimë suspected why Jon's lovers wanted to talk to her.
"Let them pass," Said the Princess with authority.
"As you wish," Said the elf leaving the tent after bowing.
"I think I know why they want to talk to me," Írimë said with amusement.
"I have a hunch…" Queen Rhaella said starting to massage her head.
After a few minutes, Princesses, Arianne, Rhaenys, Daenerys, and Ladies Shiera and Ashara entered Írimë's tent and were surprised at how comfortable and luxurious it was.
"What do you wish of me?" Írimë asked, although she already knew what they wanted.
"Lady Írimë," said Arianne, Daenerys, Shiera and Ashara at the same time bowing ... Rhaenys did too but was more reluctant.
Something that her grandmother and the beautiful elf noticed.
"We are sorry to interrupt like this ... But ... We need to speak with you, my Lady ... Mother? ... What are you doing here?" Daenerys said shyly.
"The same as you, my little Dragon," Queen Rhaella said with a sad smile.
"What is the matter you wish to discuss with me?" Asked the beautiful elf to the mortal Princesses seriously although inwardly she was amused.
"I think my Lady already knows," Shiera said with a smile on her face.
"Truly?" Írimë asked, wanting to play a bit with those mortal women.
"You have become very close to our white wolf," Princess Arianne said seriously.
"Far too close." Princess Rhaenys said, looking at the smiling elf as if her gaze would cause Írimë to drop stone dead.
"He has become a very dear friend to me… Does that bother you?" Írimë asked feigning innocence which made Rhaenys even angrier.
"You know that your affection for Jon goes much deeper than a simple friendship my Lady" Ashara snapped.
Rhaella was getting nervous when she realised that the situation was getting out of control, her daughter, granddaughter and the others were acting like beasts in heat defending their territory against a Lady of such beauty that she could leave men in a trance.
The ancient queen of Westeros didn't want to know how this would end.
"Please calm down ..."
"Does my friendship with Jon disturb you in any way?" Írimë asked, still having fun with them, but she was beginning to get irritated by their insolence.
"It's not that ... We all know how that friendship would end ... Our wild wolf is ... Too charming ... Sometimes incredibly so ... But we don't want anyone to suffer" Daenerys said with kindness, and Írimë understood what they were trying to convey.
"So ... My Lady ... Don't try to go any further with him ... It won't end well for anyone ... So please keep your distance from my little brother" Rhaenys said with possessiveness and jealousy in her voice, and Írimë felt a dislike for Rhaegar's daughter.
"Are you sure that's ... Or are you worried that he will replace?" Írimë asked smugly knowing about the Valyrian tradition, thanks to Elrond.
Írimë thought that Rhaenys would be furious with her comment, but the ladies began laughing to her confusion.
"What is so amusing?" Finwë's daughter asked, arching one of her thin eyebrows.
"Whoever says Jon will kick me out of his bed just for you," Rhaenys said with such amusement that all her aggressiveness disappeared.
Írimë did not understand what was happening.
"Explain" the Princess of the Noldor ordered with authority.
"Jon loves us, we are his lovers, but he ... He didn't seduce us ... We seduced him," Daenerys said with a smile.
"That boy is incredibly dense, he never realised our feelings for him until we confessed our heart's desire," Shiera said with a smile.
"He only accepted us into his bed after we all spent a lot of time with him and suffered sorrows and sorrows together ... We love him," Ashara said.
"And most importantly, he loves us ... Rhaenys and I were the only ones who he accepted in his bed in a moment of weakness but even after we fell in love quickly" Princess Arianne replied.
"That is why we are not worried that you try to seduce him ... He may be attracted to you ... But he will not take you as a lover until he is sure that he loves you and that you love him ... Jon wants love more than pleasure ... But if you don't believe us, try to entice him into your bed "Rhaenys said with total confidence in Jon before a stunned Írimë who did not know what to say.
... They are utterly sure of Jon's will ... I thought they were just insolent to the challenge me in that way but not afraid at all to try to seduce him ... No doubt his love in their hearts ... thought the noble elf completely surprised.
At that moment one of Írimë's servants appeared at the entrance.
"The dinner is ready."
At that moment, Queen Rhaella, trying to calm things down, got up from her chair and took her granddaughter by the hand and whispered in her ear.
"I shall speak to you later."
"Grandma?" Rhaenys asked, concerned.
"Why don't we all go to dinner now? Dinner will be getting cold, and after the effort that our knights put in to get the food, we cannot fail them" Said the queen trying to divert attention from the discussion, which apparently had already been successful. that one by one all the Ladies came out of Írimë's tent.
-------------------------------------------------- ---
The dinner happened without incident, Glorfindel and his servants apologised to Írimë for the humility of the cutlery and the dinner, but the Noldorian Princess did not care to eat rather she was content to watch Jon and his lovers.
Which amusingly caused more problems for the young Dragon as his lovers frequently competed to feed him and they hinder their own efforts leaving Jon without food for everyone's amusement.
Írimë seeing the funny scene could not contain her laughter when hse saw the frustration on Jon's face for being constantly deprived of his dinner. However, the Noldorian Princess could see the love between Jon and his lovers ... Rhaenys was insolent, jealous and possessive ... But she didn't lie, if Írimë had tried to seduce Jon ... he would have rejected her ... Because he didn't love her, his relationship with his concubines is much more than physical there is genuine affection there ... Real love.
The love shared between then brought back memories of times past in Tirion where she experienced the same with a young Noldorian lord, she loved him deeply, and they were very happy until her half-brother Fëanor could not contain his wroth and declared war against Morgoth and instigated a rebellion against the Valar an uprising that ended with the Massacre of Alqualondë.
Her fiancé rejected her after that, he would not marry the sister of the one so cruel as Feanor... As soon as she heard those words, Írimë wept in anguish. Their romance ended in bitterness, after that she accompanied her brother and her nephews to Middle Earth Where she spent an entire Age resisting Morgoth's attacks and regretting her decision to leave her mother Indis and her sister Findis, she had to return with her brother Finarfin instead she travelled to a strange land where she was forced to watch as her family perished.
Then she returned to Aman after Morgoth's defeat, and although she was happy to be reunited with her mother, sister and brother, she had to see her old love with his wife and son, the pain that Írimë thought she had forgotten returned and now it was worse because she had to see them daily. She finally couldn't take it anymore and decided that she must leave the blessed kingdom and so she returned to Middle-earth and had no intention of returning to Aman.
So many memories, so many joys and sorrows brought to her again by the image of a young mortal and his lovers being happy in front of her. She does not wish any harm to any of them, not even the insolent Rhaenys. But she wishes for them to disappear for a while so she could sit next to him, kiss him and laugh with him.
Írimë opened her eyes and almost dropped her plate in surprise as she understood the depth of her thoughts ... She ... She really wants to be in the shoes of those women ... She wants to be the one who is causing Jon to smile and be happy.
With a hand on her heart, Finwë and Indis's daughter suddenly understood Rhaella Targaryen's concern.
... oh, I am very afraid that I have fallen into a trap, the same one in which Lúthien, Idril even Findulias fell many centuries ago ... I fell for a mortal like them, the situation is laughable by everyone I could choose to give my heart this was one of the Atani ... One who may not feel anything for me except a friendship ... I thought Írimë sadly.
-------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------
Finally, after three weeks travelling various roads Jon and the others managed to reach the kingdom of Arnor, where they had to cross the pass of the Hills of Evendim in the North of Eriador to be able to reach Lake Evendim, surround it and according to Glorfindel, they could see the majestic City of Annúminas.
Jon and the other Westerosi were already eager to meet King Elendil after almost four years (two for Sansa and Arya), and they couldn't help but think that they would find in that city built by the survivors of Númenor, the most anxious were Jon and Shiera who could barely contain their excitement for the amusement and satisfaction of all.
Until finally, after three days they saw it... Shining like a pearl of silver in the light of the evening sun, the city rested on the shore of a gigantic lake, its waters were dark: a deep blue like clear evening sky.
The city was surrounded by walls of great height, and marvellous thickness and outward face was like marble, hard and white and smooth, unconquerable by steel or fire, unbreakable except by some convulsion that would rend the very earth on which it stood. The City's standing high within the topmost walls shone out against the sky, glimmering like a spike of pearl and silver, tall and fair and shapely, and its pinnacle glittered as if it were wrought of crystals; and white banners broke and fluttered from the battlements in the morning breeze. This city reminded them of King's Landing, but this majestic City does not emit a fetid stench of corpses, semen, shit and sweat. Curiously the Westerosi breathed the pure air of Arnor deeply to the confusion of Írimë and her servants, Glorfindel was the only one who knew the reason for it and had to suppress his laughter.
"Come on my friends" The Faithful have waited for you for several years, "Said the ancient elf closely followed by his apprentices and by Írimë and his servants.
-------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------
Seeing them arrive at Arnor safely, Galadriel closed her connection with Jon at that moment.
The Lady of Light had discovered that her connection with the young Targaryen did not weaken in the year they were without seeing each other, it remained the same or stronger, neither she nor her husband found a way to break it, so they decided to use it to watch over the "Emissaries of the Valar" from Edhellond. They watched them in silence for a year since they returned from Harlond.
However, Galadriel did not tell Celeborn her second reason for using that connection ... She had thought that her body's desires would be satiated when Jon Snow and his lovers left her ... But it was not.
Now Finarfin's daughter indulged in that sinful desire almost every day taking extreme care that no one discovered her, but now that desire to see Jon Snow share the bed with his lovers had become part of her life. The beautiful ancient elf was driven mad with anguish at the prospect of not seeing that passion between the young Targaryen and his lovers.
It was wrong, she knew it but ... She couldn't stop anymore, just as she warned her aunt Írimë about her curiosity concerning Jon Snow, Galadriel should have heeded her own counsel as she was consumned by her desires.
The mere thought made Galadriel laugh because she fell under who believed herself to be the wisest of all the Noldor ... Overcome by her own curiosity and lust because if she had respected the privacy of Jon Snow's mind, none of this would have happened.
The Lady of Light did not know how it would all end, but she hoped that the Valar would be merciful and nothing would end in tragedy, especially now that the shadow of Sauron is stirring again in the East.

Once again thanks to my co-author Great_red
