"I do." Roselyn sighed, "I was kidnapped and brought here without even a proper explanation of what I am supposed to do here nor what this place even is."
She shook her head, she seemed she could lose her temper at any time.
"I don't know anyone here and I miss my parents. The only person I know is now telling me I am not to trust. I hope to wake up soon because this Nightmare Is even worse than the one I always had at night." She blurted out.
"What Nightmare did you have?"
"Never mind. I don't want to tell you about this." Her eyes filled with tears.
She Just felt so emotionally and physically drained, she was doing all that just to see her mother for the last time but the way the Plan turned out was having her wonder if It was worth the stress or not.
"Roselyn, you have to straighten up. How many times do I have to repeat this to you? You aren't going anywhere if you cry at the First issue?"
She tightened her fist. She was going to tell him off. How did he dare to give her lessons when he wouldn't even put her in her shoes? Could he be more empathetic?
He sighed, then with a gesture of his hand he turned on the coffee machine standing on the opposite side of the office. When the coffee was ready he made another gesture and the Cup gently flew to her.
"Take a coffee and sit down. I am going to tell you everything but then you have to promise me you Will strengthen up and be more motivated in this."
Roselyn looked at the cup confused and hesitating. But then She grabbed It and slowly took a sip before nodding shyly.
"Alright."
"As we previously explained, an enchantress generation Is Born in very thousands of tears. There are not many of you in the world, this is why we need to train them and have them fully develop their Powers. But something we kept from you Is that there are two different kinds of magician creatures. Their nature can be good or evil. The world Is divided into those two categories but the difference Is that enchantress Powers can grow so much that if they use them for evil purposes they could be capable of taking down entire cities and generating destruction in the entire Planet. Enchantress is one of the most powerful creatures out there." He took a brief pause as if he had to think and process a lot about what he was going to Say After.
"Your mother was a good enchantress. Her Heart was pure and She worked and trained her whole life to fully develop her powers to the maximum level. She was One of our best students. We all were so proud of what she became. The school boasted her rise, she was considered one of the best potential enchantresses of the entire realm. But One day the unexpected happened, she met your father.
Their meeting caused her an imminent downfall.
His influence caused in her a profound change, day after day, she changed completely rhat we could barely recognize her. Her way of thinking, her beliefs, and her values changed so much that she was scaring us.
That wasn't all, he also had the capability of taming magician creatures.
He grew an army of dragons and hid with your mother for hundreds of tears. Nobody had seen them since the day they flew together but rumors were spread about what they did - or Better - what your father did. He might be the reason why many realms were razed to the ground."
"This can't be true. I don't believe you. Stop lying about my mom and my dad. I am sure they were good people." Rebecca frowned, her puzzlement mixed with sadness and anger.
"Oh your mom was, before meeting your father. We had seen her changing slowly, until she had become so different that she turned her back to the school who grew her and made her become who she is now."
Rebecca's eyes were not full of tears that She could no longer contain the emotions.
"My mom isn't evil. I know she is the best human in the entire world. She would never.." her voice broke in the sobs.
"Rebecca, I told you had to straighten up." His eyes thinned and his forehead creased. How could he be so cold?? How could he expect She would swallow all those hard truths about her mothers so easily without even blinking?
"Stop crying. You asked me the truth, haven't you?"
She nodded
"Then you gotta accept It. Don't ask what you aren't ready to get. Remember this."
" I am ready for the truth."
"Are you? You sure?" He stared right into her eyes as if he could dig into those to find the Truth "because there ys so much more you still have to know."
