"Follow me behind, let's test your skill immediately." Reine's mother said as she walked outside the room that contains nothing but the two elves.
Reine's pointy ears twitched as she opposed. "B-but you said to absorb the mana and now you want me to spend it!?"
Her mother stopped and stood at the entrance, she glared at her daughter and asked. "You're judging my decision? Me, the great Rei?"
'No need to call yourself great.' Reine said in her mind as she gulped a mouthful of saliva then she answered. "N-no mother."
"Tsk, just follow me." Rei said as she continued to walk, then she started to talk again and said. "It's quite tradition to spend your mana after stabilizing it to make it even more stabilized."
'You should informed me first before making me follow you.' Reine argued in her mind as she silently followed her mother.
Seing her daughter that was silent after glaring at her, Rei couldn't hide her worry that her daughter might hate her, atlast she said. "Sorry about that... Im quite stressed nowadays that I can't control myself sometimes."
"Im not mad mother," Reine said to her mother as she continued. "Though, you should relax yourself... We elves have long lives afterall."
"Yeah... Thanks, I should do that." Rei said as smile appeared in her quite stressed face.
They walked side by side at the lamp-lighten hallway consisting of different doors. Some servants of the house can be frequently seen going here and there and whenever they saw the two, they will not hesitate to bow their heads.
After a series of walking through the hallway, the two finnaly arrived at training ground. The room consist of a large space with cobbled ground, at the ceiling placed thick glass that illuminates the entire room and lamps stood at the wall with a sizable gap at each other.
"You go to the other side and prepare to fight me." Rei ordered her daughter as she walked to the others side opposite of her daughter who's also walking at the opposite direction.
Then, they arrived at their position and Rei ordered. "Just fight normally, don't go all out or weakly."
"Understood mother." Reine replied.
Then, the two elves chanted different words at their own.
"Magic barrage!" Chanted Reine as blue energy like translucent projectiles shot forward from her sides to the position of her mother, the energy projectiles was fast and large in number.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
"Air shield!" Rei chanted before the barrage of energy projectiles hit her, appeared in her front is a hexagon shaped greenish translucent barrier that blocks all of the barrage caused ny Reine's attack at all side.
'That is useless against this many barrage!' Reine shouted in her mind as the frequency of projectiles she shot forward grew in number even more.
'So many, well after all, basic magic is easier to maintain.' Rei said in her mind as she calmly blocks all of the barrage from Reine with the hexagon shaped barrier that protects her side and front.
'Then let's see if you can block this mother!' Reine shouted again in her mind as blueish energy like orb appeared in her front.
"Piercing beam!" She chanted before the energy orb infront of her shot forward like a beam in instance, the beam size was thin in width but it's range was considerably long.
But it didn't manage to hit it's target as it was blocked by several cone shaped greenish barrier infront of Rei making it lose it's trajectory and was divided into several beams that was shot at different sides.
'Mother conjured cone shaped barrier to change the trajectory of my attack?' Reine questioned her mind as she subdued the barrage projectiles thinking that it was time to defend.
"Then I'll start now." Rei said after seeing that her daughter subdued her attack and Rei didn't wait for a second, she vanished instantly at her position as she flew in the air guided by a gust of winds in her low body.
"Air strikes!" Rei chanted as blades of greenish energy shot forward like a wind towards Reine's side.
"Barrier!" Reine chanted before a hexagon shaped bluish barrier appeared in her sides and front.
Boom!
The wind blades hit it's target but Reine's barrier manage to block it.
Thud!
Reine fell to the ground by the shock of explosion that her barrier didn't manage to block.
Rei was about to chant another attack but she saw her daughter was laying in the ground amidst the smoke of the dust.
She immediately cancelled her attack as she flew towards her daughter hurriedly.
"Ah, I didn't manage to block the shock waves." Reine said to herself before her mother came to her side with worry look.
"I thought you put a barrier?!" Rei shouted in worry as she checked her daughter's body for potential injury.
"I conjured at all my side but the shockwaves manage to hit me." Reine replied to her mother as she stood up before patting her lower back away from dust.
"Then are you okay?" Rei didn't manage to hide her worry as she asked.
"Im not injured mother and im okay." Reine answered as smile appeared in her beautiful face. She asked. "Anyways, how's my magic?"
Seing her daughter was not injured in any way than being knock to the ground, Rei manage a smile as she patted the child's head and answered. "You did well."
Reine's smile grew even more as beams of joy appeared in her blue eyes.
"But you're still not experienced... Just keep in mind to be careful and caution next time." Rei said to her daughter.
"I'll keep that in my mind!" Reine answered happily.
Rei hold her daughter's shoulder as she said. "Rest for now, you're mother has a work to do."
"Aw, okay mother, I'll see you later." Reine said as she walked away from the training ground and before leaving the room, she turned around and waved her hand towards her mother.
Rei waved back before her daughter vanished from her sight.
She sighed and asked to who knows who. "How did the investigation go?"
"The target's house was damaged infront and sign of battle was found at the field." A voice answered from nowhere.
"And the two?" She asked.
"There were no bodies beside the imperfect demon corpse." The voice answered again.
"Tsk, use divination to know where they go... Dismissed." Rei said atlast.
She frowned and thought. 'Did they survived?'
'No, heavenly body will fade away after they die... There are many possibilities that the two is alive.' Rei said in her mind as she glanced at the ceiling, the sun was about to reach it's afternoon time and the room was illuminated in one side.
"Well, I hope not."

Swoosh! Swoosh!
Blood flew in the air as Xian's blade sliced through the group of Orges. This creature was green skinned and was tall that stoods two meter with their muscles bulging like their bellies.
This Orges was not intelligent enough but their strength can be compared to that of a trained knight, they have a slight regeneration abilities too.
Xian continued to cut through the group swiftly with her transcending speed and in no time, the only one who stood in the deep forest is her and in the ground are the bodies of Orges with their heads sever from their body.
"Cut the head and kick it away, that will do the work." Xian said to herself as she glanced at the Orges' camp which is very small and only consist of several tents made out of scraps.
Xian walked towards the camp and started to search for potential loot but was disappointed that there was no loot, not even a rusty sword.
"Well, their dumb enough to ignore those treasure from ambushing." Xian said in her self as she turned her head upwards and saw that the sun was it's afternoon time.
"Yeah, I should hunt for some food, this Orges' meat are really disgusting to eat." She said as she flew in the air in one jump and jumped in the air to flew forward.
Flying in the air using her transcending power and techniques to jump in the air itself, Xian swiftly flew above the dense forest.
Then, from the corner of her ears, she heard a battle cry of different creature that might be a human and an Orges or goblins fighting each other.
To satisfy her curiosity, Xian changed her direction and flew towards the battlefield in the deep forest.
Xian easily managed to see the battlefield and saw that there was two humans and a group of goblins in the distance.
"A couple?"

"Take this disgusting goblins!" Shouted by a woman wearing a clad of silver armor that hides her legs and arms but her torso was openly wearing only a black bra, her hair only reaches her neck as her sharp eyes pierced through the group of goblins.
The goblins are creature of green skinned in color and was only able to reach a height of one meter, they are skinny and has bulging bellies but they were fast and only attacks in group.
With two silver swords on both of her hands, the woman charge forward to the group of goblins which is only ten in number.
Her swords sliced forward aggressively making the goblins dodge it easily but three of the nearest to the woman are unlucky enough to be slain by the reckless attack.
Amidst the bloody sight, the goblins manage to low their fear because of their number, then they attacked the woman all by one making the woman to put a guard.
With her swords in front and back to block all potential attacks, the woman manage to block some of the goblins attacks using their rusty daggers to slash through the woman but the woman was openly enough to have several cuts caused by the group attack.
Swoosh!
An arrow flew in the air and pierced the head of a goblin farthest to the woman. Seing the assailant that killed their kin, the goblins backs away and turned their head towards the archer.
It was a man hiding in the woods with a wooden bow in his hand, he wore a hood and a robe colored in black as his face gives an experienced looks on how calm it it.
With a growing beard, he shouted. "Take caution!"
"I know!" The woman shouted in reply as she backed away from the goblins as she readied herself to charge again.
Seing their numbers are down to six, the goblins was about to decide to devide the group and attack the two at the same time.
However, at the air flew a blurred figure as it struck the ground that was the goblins standing at.
Amidst the dust of the explosion, Xian didn't wait for a second as she swiftly cutted her ways through the six goblins and in a couple of seconds, all of the goblins were dead and their corpse are laying in the ground just before the dust subdued.
The woman earlier with two swords in her hand, she post a stance that was ready to fight the unknown assailant that killed the goblins.
The robed man was also readied his self as she drew an arrow and loaded her wooden bow.
Taking caution and wary, the two posted a stance of defence.
Xian's figure appeared after the dust subdued as she put her hands at the air and said to the two. "No need to be wary, lovebirds."
