The light of the morning was sipping through the gaps of the closed window of Xian's rented room.
The cacophony of sounds coming from the tavern below mixed with the noise outside is making the morning slowly rise up from sleeping.
The scents of different delicacies coming from different area is being smelled by Xian as her abdomen grumbled a little as she laid at the soft bed.
"I'll buy a breakfast and ask something." She said to herself before standing up and stuffing the three clover leaves to the pocket of the leather sling bag.
After that, she went outside and entered the washroom. Some time has passed before she went to her room again to dry her face.
With the silver sword sheated in her waist as it was belted there, she went outside again and walked downstairs.
The tavern was not crowded at the morning and there was only a few customers of the tavern who's either eating their breakfast or was talking to each other.
Xian walked towards the counter and sat infront of it. Tapping her hands to the table, the bartender came over to her.
"What's your order?" The bartender said, obviously tired because of his cheerless expression.
Xian didn't care for this as she ordered. "One breakfast and an orange juice."
"A breakfast and juice coming right up." The bartender said as she went to the kitchen.
After a while, the bartender came back and serve a plate of steak, beacon and some vegetables at Xian.
Xian brought a payment and gave it to the bartender. Then, she started to ate the breakfast slowly while drinking the orange juice frequently after each mouthful food.
The taste of the food is being savored by Xian to the fullest while the orange juice is wetting her mouth even more.
After a while, she was finished and tapped the table again, then the bartender came to her.
"What is it?" The bartender asked.
"Where's the boss?" Xian answered as she asked.
"Sleeping at her house." The bartender answered. Then she asked. "Why are you looking for her?"
"Im going to ask a question." She answered.
"Say it to me, I might know the answer." The bartender said.
Waiting no more time, Xian replied and asked. "How many days to travel from here to the City of Neap?"
The bartender touched his chin for a while of thinking, then she answered. "On foot, you'll take two weeks at most but you will be there for a couple of days if you traveled with mount or carriage."
"Is there any sighting of monsters along the way?" Xian asked.
"Im talking about normal path to take there from here and those paths was usually safe, but if you take the dangerous yet quick path to make there then it will only take you a week on foot."
"That path was inside the forest and was not available for traveling without fighting, Orges and goblins bacame problem inside of it after all."
"That's better, I thank you for an answer." Xian said to the bartender but not fully trusting every word, she was cautiously not trusting everyone afterall.
With that, she stood up and went to the hallway again that leads upstairs, there, she stopped at the washroom first and went to her bedroom to dry her face. She is sure a hygienic girl.
She dressed the dark coat again after removing it since coming to the tavern, then she brought several silver coins from the brown bag and stuffing it on her pocket leaving only a couple of gold coins inside the bag.
"My money is draining quickly, I should consider finding some jobs." She said to herself then remembered that her money here might get stolen.
"Better bring it on me." She said before stuffing the rest of the gold coins inside a different pocket in her pants.
Then after that, she closed and locked the door and walked to the hallway leading downstairs.
Walking at the entrance to leave, Xian greeted the morning sun that was illuminating the streets. Different kinds of people are walking here and there while some are entering different kind of buildings.
"Calming morning." Xian said as she walked towards the church that stood tall among the other buildings inside the village.
Entering the village center, Xian saw that there was several people coming from the church of Sun with satisfied face.
"They're done worshiping the goddess Helera?" Xian questioned herself before walking away opposite where she came from.
Xian went to the street and immediately saw a crowded people walking there at the distance. Those people were either buying something or selling something.
"Dried Salmon for...!"
"Fresh apples for...!"
"Kokta for...!"
Different shouts of people are entering Xian's ear mixing with the cacophony of the people stumping the ground.
Xian calmly walked at the crowde streets while looking here and there hoping to see what she wanted to buy.
After a while, she was disappointed to see nothing of her expectations.
"This is a village after all." She said and sighed as she walked away towards the the end of the streets.
Walking at the buildings that stood tall, while still keeping an eye for every shop she saw, Xian finnaly came to the edge of the streets where she can see different house and farmlands at the distance.
And beyond those house and farmlands are the logs that stood tall acting as wall protecting the village.
Xian went to looked for an old building for a while as she walked towards the streets that leads to the tavern. Then she finally saw the old building that was standing just besides a narrow alley.
The old building was covered in some moss and there was crack that can be seen here and there.
Xian was about to enter the old building with it's wooden doors that was already open when she was suddenly saw her shadow on the ground turned brighter.
Boom!
A fireball came from above as it hurriedly came contact to the ground besides Xian.
Xian on the other didn't even flinch and moved to dash. No, she was being surrounded by a flowing transparent water that was acting as a barrier.
Looking above at the assailant, Xian stopped conjuring the water barrier as she vanished where she was standing.
"What?!" The assailant said as 'he' stood above the old building.
Appearing besides the assailant who wore a dark robe. Xian instantly kicked the hell of this guy who attacked her.
"Arh!" The assailant didn't manage to dodge or even react at the sudden and surprisingly kicked as 'he' flew in the air and felt to the building besides the dark alley.
Thud!
'he' fell to the ground unmoving as Xian appeared instantly at the man's side with sword unsheathed and ready to slash.
Uncovering the assailant's face, Xian saw the face of the brat she mocked at the tavern.
Xian glance at Brack who's laying on the ground. His face was covered in blood as his side clothes was shattered because of the fast kick, at the side of his abdomen is the swollen skin that resulted him to be fainted.
"Oh, it was just you... Brat is it?" Xian said as she walked away from the dark alley besides the old building.
Upon coming outside the dark alley, Xian saw the scorched ground where the fireball landed. Not giving a care of it, Xian walked towards the opened door of the old building and entered it.
Different wooden cabinets and shelves can be seen here and there and the smell of different herbs is entering Xian's nose.
She noticed that there was no one inside the building but she still walked to the counter. After a while of looking at the different herbs inside the shop, Xian didn't care if there was a shop owner or not, she went to brought anything she wanted and placed a several coins consisting of copper and silver to the table at the counter.
Then, she left the old building and up until now, the closest people she can sense is the from the other buildings.
"Maybe the owner ran away because of the explosion." Xian said to herself as she walked away towards the streets where the tavern resides in.
After a while of walking, Xian finnaly came at the tavern and by now, the sun was about to reach it's peak.
Seing Xian entered the tavern, the bartender asked Xian as the girl walked past her. "Hey, are you gonna extend the rent or not?"
"I still have a few hours left right?" Xian answered as she went upstairs.
The bartender sighed as he shrugged and continued to wipe the glass cups.
Xian went to her bedroom straight and brought the ingredients at the table. After a while of thinking, Xian decided to bring the ingredients at the special space and brew the potion there since there was no cauldron here.
"I'll just bet that these ingredients will safely arrived at the field." She said before stuffing the different Ingredients towards the bracelet.
With an illusionary swirl, the ingredients were sucked at the bracelet and left there. Then Xian unbelted the sheated sword and undressed the robe as she placed it at the table.
After that, she laid at the soft bed and experimented something.
Looking at her silver bracelet while laying in the ground, she focused her transcending mana towards the bracelet then the crazy ravings engulfed her mind again.
"DEMON! BLOOD! DEMON! BLOOD!"
Xian felt that her mind was about to explode but then the ravings subdued and she opened her eyes and saw the familiar field again.
And to her surprise, mother was near her and was about to walked away with a basket in her hand.
Xian followed her mother and took a look at the basket and Xian eyes opened wide as she saw the ingredients that she 'brought' laying at the basket.
Looking at her mother with surprised face, Xian asked. "Where do you plan to store those mother?"
Xen didn't talked as she walked but her hands lifted in the air as she pointed her fingers towards the house.
"There? Oh, im about to brew a potion afterall, thanks mother." Xian said to her mother with a smile.
Thinking that until now since she came to the special space, her emotions were slowly becoming more and more obvious here while at the outside world, her emotions were that of like a deadman waiting to be burried.
"Why did I think of a deadman? Anyways this feelings must connected with the special space or my mother." She said to herself as she walked besides her mother.
Upon arriving inside the house, Xen went at the kitchen upstairs and stored the ingredients at one of the cabinets there for storing.
Xian looked at her mother who finished storing the ingredients and walked away towards the hallway.
Xian on the other hand brought something from the dishwasher area. She places the dark metal cauldron at the stone stove and lit the woods that was below the stove and was there in the first place with mana.
Then, she opened the cabinet that contains the ingredients and brought them at the table.
Looking at the ingredients, Xian smiled and said:
"Time for brewing."
