After the first try Alesia never again agreed to spar with the humans but she also trained with them.
The martial arts that allowed humans to evade or block all her attacks was enticing for her.
But the training never took priority for them as they had much more to learn and the next ship That They tried to power up was a corvette class warship that according to her knowledge was retired from service for over 120 human years.
That told the humans just how far away they were technologically. from the Federation.
Figuring out the power distribution took them almost a week but once that was done they managed to power up the bridge stations one by one.
They had not enough power to power it all up at once.
By accident the first station they powered was damage control and after translating the data it turned out that this ship was totaled with over 70% of the systems and structural damage, but it still contained some data and they still could use it to learn more about the technology.
Alesia managed to explain some of the acronyms that they couldn't figure out on their own.
It took them two weeks to complete the translations and they were now debating which ship would be their next target.
-I think we should try the cargo ship near my house.
Mikael suggested while pointing at the wreck.
It looked like it was used as target practice with many holes in it but surprisingly it was still in one piece.
-I was thinking about that frigate class.
Simon pointed at a ship a few hundred meters away.
Thanks to the alien girl they now could distinguish the classes of the ships.
-My choice would be the science vessel that we saw,and it's only a small distance from the corvette we powered up.
Alesia proposed her own target.
Both humans looked at her and realized that she was right, a science ship could have some data left that could be useful to them not to mention that it would be easier to just take the power cable a bit further than to collect it all.
-Then the science vessel it is
Simon agreed and Mikael also nodded in approval.
She was happy that her suggestion was approved, her hidden goal was to find star maps for her human friends and there was a decent chance of finding those in a science vessel.
She liked those two men, not only because they saved her but also because they taught her so many new things and opened her eyes on many possibilities.
Mikael was like her own uncle, hard working, and with the lets try it attitude not to mention he's positive mind set.
Simon was also a hard worker, determined, always in pursuit of the new knowledge and also full of ideas that often surprised her.
It also didn't bother her that he was around her age and handsome for an alien.
Her only problem with the young man was that she started developing feelings for him and she tried her best to hide it.
It was impossible between them even if they're biologies were compatible, by some miracle she had obligations back home and that took precedence over her own feelings.
She really hoped that he didn't see her as a potential partner because then she would have to disappoint him.
Unfortunately he also fell for her but just like her he suppressed his filings because she was going home sooner or later and he had to stay on this planet for over 250 years more so there was no way for it to work.
They managed to hide their feelings from one another but Mikael saw right through them
however he decided not to interfere in their affairs.
It took them two days to connect the cables and power up the ship.
To their surprise the computer core was still intact and had its own power storage unit.
However it would take time to recharge it with the limited power they had.
After some discussions they decided to buy more chargers and build a bigger version of their solar power source.
They needed it either way as the bigger ships they powered up the more power was required.
Alesia watched them work and she recently got bored of it.
The devices they made were crude but functional and the speed at which they assembled them never ceased to amaze her.
She didn't tell them but as soon as she came back she planned to ask the empress to send envoys to the Sol system to try and make an alliance with the humans.
It would help Simon and Mikael, reducing the time they needed to stay on this planet and her own empire would benefit from this also because if two standard humans could do all this then what were their scientists and engineers capable of when given access to advanced technology.
And in the case the empress refused she already had a plan B.
It took them four days to build the device and connect all the chargers together.
This time they bought a hundred of them so it was way bigger than the previous version and it had five times more output.
After connecting it to the ship it would still take a few days to recharge the computer core but in their eyes the possible reward was worth the wait.
The next morning they were woken up by the sound of engines but it was different from the sound of ships dropping the junk on the planet.
When they got outside they saw a shuttle in the same colors as Alesia's fighter landing near the beacon.
They rushed over and found Mikael also outside of his house.
-Well it seems that your ride has arrived.
The old man said when he saw them.
He went back inside his house and returned a moment later with her weapons.
At the same time a team of beings that looked like her disembarked from the ship pointing their weapons on humans.
Alesia took her weapons from the old man .
-Hold your fire, they are my friends.
She yielded to the soldiers when she saw weapons pointed at Simon and Mikael.
They listened and lowered their rifles.
-Your highness, it's great to see you safe and sound.
The squad leader hurried over and bowed before her.
-Your majesty?
Both humans were confused.
-I'm sorry that I didn't tell you but I'm actually the fifth princess of the Elani empire.
She admitted.
-That's alright, we all have our secrets.
Mikael said when he got his voice back.
Alesia gave some orders to the squad leader that the translator did not pick up.
The soldier ran back to the shuttle and a moment later returned with two data pads.
She took them and handed them over to Mikael.
-This is my present for you and I think that you will find them useful.
She said and turned to Simon.
-And this is for you.
She said taking off a small disc from her neck,it was her identification pendant.
-I can't take this.
He tried to protest but she shut him up putting her hand on his mouth.
-Then you can return it when we meet again.
She said with a smile.
After that she went with the soldiers, got into the shuttle and was gone a moment later.
