Jupiter strolled towards us, a smile glued to her stupid face, is she that happy?
"Lady Rose, I was hoping to see you here, I wanted to apologize for what happened last time," she said, feigning innocence.
"I was hoping you'd come and see me as well," I said picking my drink. Lily took hers as well and was about to take a sip but was distracted by the shattering of glass on the tiled floor. Yes, I threw my glass on the floor, but that's cool because I'm a villain it's a normal thing if I do it.
"Oh my goodness, Lady Rose, what did you do that for? Are you hurt?" Jupiter asked, and I laughed because it was so funny.
"I'm not hurt, but someone will go home hurt," I replied, and she sucked her teeth without realizing. "Lady Batch, what did you put in our drinks?" I asked and Batch took a step back. All I could ask for was their cooperation, but that didn't look like it would happen, I held my head feeling frustrated with their attitude.
"Lady Rose, what manner of accusation is this?" Jupiter asked, stepping in front of Batch. People were already gathering to find out what was going on just like I wanted.
"I overheard your conversation with Lady Batch on the balcony," I said and Jupiter's expression darkened. "You told her to poison Lily, but she poisoned the two drinks instead. You were so elated that you had to come watch the event up close, right?" I asked.
"Lady Rose, I only came here because I saw you put something in your sister's drink," she replied.
"Wow, you really are rotten to the core," I said laughing. Everyone was murmuring, but I didn't care, I needed to get rid of this stupid bitch, so she won't be able to hurt me or Lily. "So I poisoned Lily?" I asked and she nodded. This lady is so dumb.
"Rose," Lily called, and I turned to look at her. The hell?
"Lily, do you really believe what she's saying?" I asked, but she didn't reply.
"Lady Rose, I can't believe you'd do something like that," an old man who had no freaking idea who he was, said as he approached us. "This is my ball, why would you…" He was still speaking, but I couldn't take it anymore, I needed to say my piece before things got out of hand.
"Excuse me, sir. Please can I ask Lady Jupiter a question?" I interrupted him but he didn't take offense.
"Go ahead," he said with a slight nod.
"You saw me poison Lily, right? Then why didn't you stop her when she was about to drink it?" I asked but she couldn't reply. "And why did I stop her from drinking it? Tell me, why am I making a fuss about it when it could implicate me?" I kept asking but she had no response.
It happened so fast I doubted the past few weeks even happened. Jupiter was on the floor crying her eyes out as she lamented.
"Lady Rose is saying the truth, I was forced to do this. Lady Batch, she threatened to hit me and… and she even strangled me and said that I better say Lady Rose poisoned Lady Lilyanne," she said crying.
Wow, this fake bitch is good. This is a top-tier acting skill, she deserves an award for her skills, lying scum. The thing is Jupiter met her match, I might be a terrible actress but Silver Percando do not go down easily. I walked towards her and offered her my hand to help her up, and she took it, everyone's heart is already melting towards her, and we can't have that now.
"Lady Jupiter, stop embarrassing yourself in public," I said, and she gasped in shock. I could tell her gasp from the numerous gasps around me. "So you were willing to let Lily die because you were that someone would hit you?" I asked and she said,
"No… well… I…"
"I'm really curious, why didn't you bring everyone's attention to it? Was it because you were scared that a girl you are older than and is shorter than you are will strangle you?" I asked but she stayed silent. "Another question out of sheer curiosity, why didn't you stop Lily from drinking it? And why were you smiling when she poured the poison in the two cups?" Jupiter took a step back and tripped on her heels, I hovered over her feeling like strangling her. The male leads were already on the scene, but I was not in the mood to let some random hot guys to fight my battles for me.
"Lady Batch," I called turning to her. "Lets hear your defense," I said.
"I… I… I didn't threaten her, she… she said the potion would do whatever the user wishes for," she said defending. That is obviously a lie.
"Really?" I asked smiling. "Then can I order for two, Lady Jupiter? I have a sick mother and dragon at home that could use a magical portion that does what its user wishes," I said squatting to meet Jupiter's eye level. "Lady Batch, what did you wish for?" I asked standing up quickly, but I didn't miss Jupiter's sigh of relief.
"I didn't wish for her death, I swear," she said. This lady is dumb.
"Okay, I believe you," I said with a gentle smile, I assume. I turned and collected the glass from Lily and handed it over to Batch but she didn't take it. "I don't want you to die, but I'm not the user, it's up to you," I said still smiling. "Take it my hand hurts," I said smiling. She collected it with shaky hands, her hands were shaking so much that the drink almost spilled, but I was fast enough to steady it in her hands. "Alright, drink it," I ordered crossing my arms over my chest. Tears dropped from Batch's eyes as she stared at me with a pleading look. Oh! my! Is this the part where I start feeling sympathy?
Gosh! I'm too sick for this nonsense.
