Synopsis

The beginning

I walk into my apartment still fuming with anger. I felt like I could explode any minute soon and it's all because of Luke's foolish friend and that bitch.

"How am I the bad guy?" I asked myself walking towards my room. My phone buzzed in my bag and I brought it out glancing at it. It read: Monkey. I picked it up and said, "What?"

"Woah, who pooped in your cereal?" The caller who happened to be one of my best friends, Ray, nicknamed 'Monkey' for various reasons.

"What?" I repeated really not in the mood for chitchat.

"Just checking in, Luke told me what happened, are you okay?" Ray asked sounding sincerely worried.

"I'm good, Monkey, forget it," I said sighing as I changed out of my outfit. News really spread fast, technology can be annoying sometimes.

"Well, at least you have a worst date now," he said laughing. I chuckled and said,

"Almost done with my bucket list all that's left is your head." He laughed out loud and replied with,

"I know I'm handsome but isn't that too far, not that I'll mind being a relic in your house," he paused and spoke seriously. "Just calm down, okay?"

"Okay, I'll call you when I do that," I said and hung up.

I grabbed a book that was on my side table and went through it. I relaxed on my bed and decided to read a little romance to calm myself down. I found the book at my mom's place and decided to read it since she didn't know when or where she got the book from I decided to keep it. I'm a freak for romance novels.

The book was just your regular historical story, a female lead with lots of male leads. I didn't really like it because for one, I was feeling sentimental and reading about a girl that was just a victim of selfish people is pretty sad. Instead of feeling better I became more pissed off. "She only became that way because of you, stupid," I shouted at the book.

I closed the book angrily and walked to the bathroom to clean up before going to bed, I hate going to bed angry I'll have nightmares, or so mom said but that don't matter anymore.

"Nightmare here I come," mumbled as I brushed my teeth furiously. I might injure myself but like I said it doesn't matter. My phone rang and I rushed to go pick it up hoping it's the person I want to talk to, my romance soulmate. I didn't get a chance to find out cause I slipped on the carpet and blacked out. Quite embarrassing!
