Aqua X's voice echoed throughout Coliseum
"Welcome to the Great Coliseum!" Aqua X shouted.
"It seems you all already know what's about to go down so there's no point in explaining it. We'll be starting in 3...2....1.... Begin!!!"
The Coliseum was immediately filled with sounds of clashing and clanging as the respective weapons of each and every person collided.
The five separate groups of classes had all run at each other unknowingly and had now created one big mob of people who were all fighting one another indiscriminately and wholeheartedly.
There were lesser fifth years than any of the other years but that was not to be taken at face value as the fifth years held the most experience and power due to them being in the academy the longest.
My thoughts were cut short as I realized Zenith was no longer next to me and had gone running of into this crowd.
No point worrying about it now, not like I'll be able to find her with this crowd.
Emerging from the crowd was a sharply ended sword which was aimed directly with swift precision.
Taking a step back I dodged the tip of the sword which then retracted back as the person who attacked me pulled the sword back towards them by its hilt.
Turning to face my opponent I was met with a vertical slash which I promptly blocked with a sword of my own which I got from the academy specifically for this event.
The force of the slash, which came from the brown haired boy who wore a blue school jersey, which symbolized his status as a third year, was to heavy to take on bluntly causing me to stumble back a distances away as the blade struck the dirt ground.
I was able to stand up and on my feet pretty quickly and just in time to see the boy running at me with his sword in hand.
The slashes of our swords through the air were stifled by the countless other sounds caused by the countless other battles which all happened simultaneously all around us.
The boy propelled his sword forwards at incredible speed and closed the distance between us in mere seconds as the pointed end narrowly missed me and only pierced through my black hair behind me.
Using his missed attack, I advanced forward before he could react and used my fist ,instead of my sword, to send a frightening attack directly at his head.
The fist was stopped by an invisible force mere centimeters away from the boy's average face and he was teleported out of the Coliseum and deemed defeat.
Hesitating for not one second I swiftly pushed my body forwards and away from the spot I had been in as an arrow landed directly on the spot I was just in and a man ran forwards out of the crowd in an attempt to stab me.
When they meant free-for-all they meant free-for-all, after all there is no break on the battlefield.
Having my fair share of fighting for now I bolted through the horde of people finding any openings I could and using them to rush past anyone who stood in my way by using my agility to run straight pat them.
Sooner or later I reached a clearing which was located near the edge of the Coliseum. For some reason none of the students ,even the fifth years, didn't enter this clearing and the students who were chasing me immediately stop chasing me after I entered it.
What's so wrong about over here?
Seated on the stone cold walls of the Coliseum was a pink haired girl who sat with her head covered by her moderately long wavy hair but if that wasn't enough of a warning already the next part surely would be...
She held a Greatsword more than double her height, alas she is sitting down, and it had the width of half a human torso (7 inches). The Greatsword had engravings of that of a ruby and diamond on it.
She was the living embodiment of a Death Flag.
Suddenly the girl's body shifted and the Greatsword dug through the dirt ground as the girl raised her lowered head and glared directly at me.
The girl's glare allowed me to see her low-red eyes which peered at me through her disheveled hair.
Moving in an almost lazy yet slumping mood the girl stood from the ground and put one of her hands on the hilt of the great sword which was now barely shorter than her.
Wincing my eyes I looked closer at the girl and noticed two small blob-like creatures on either shoulder of her.
One of the blob-like creatures had a small red horn which stuck out their head making them look cute and the other had a glowing halo above their head.
I also noticed a lot more than just that. Right as the girl had stood up the once moderately sized safe zone around her became even wider as all the students feared this clear death flag.
Yet this student they feared was only a second year, symbolized by their green school uniform.
Why would fourth and fifth years avoid this area if it's only a second year.
Maybe she's some world renowned person due to her talents and skills or something along the lines of that.
"Another one bites the dust it seems."
The blob-like creatures on the left shoulder of the girl, who had a small red horn on their head, said.
"I,too, agree with you. I just don't understand why all these first years think they're all that and then they fight Cecelia and uh-oh they immediately lose. So tiresome." The other blob-like creatures with the halo said.
"Huh. Those little things talk." I blurted out.
"Huh." The girl whose name was apparently Cecelia let out.
"What are you talking about?" Cecelia asked.
"What else would I be talking about other than the two blob things on your shoulders." I said
"You can see them?" she raised an eyebrow.
"Of course I can see them, I'm not blind. One has a halo and another a horn." I blinked make sure and then responded.
"I thought I'd always be the only one to see them." Cecelia's great sword dropped to the ground and her face took a 180 as her red eyes changed to green and her face became filled with joy.
"Huh."
What did I just get myself into?
