Cecelia had taken a seat and had also practically forced me to sit on the ground as well. She then explained why exactly her murderous personality had immediately shifted once she realized that I could see the two blob things on her shoulders.
Apparently no one else can see them except for her, from when she was a child until now, because she was the only one who could see them and hear what they said others often thought she was talking to herself and having make believe conversations.
Because of this she would meet unwelcoming and rude people who just thought of her as a little kid with some screws loose and the other kids around her would often avoid due to her tendencies which seemed borderline crazy to everyone else.
This exact reason was the very fact why she was sent to the academy in the first place as her family sent her there at a younger age just to get rid of her as they had two other children who showed much more promise and weren't crazy.
She had thought that she would live misunderstood for the rest of her life as the insane girl who talked to herself until she met me, someone else who, much like her, could see the two miniature slimes on her shoulders.
"You don't know how much of a relief it is to know that I'm not crazy and that they're actually real." Cecelia out a puff before saying.
"I don't, really." I mumbled from under my breath.
I just met her but telling by how much she was willing to explain and by how relieved she looks I can tell this must have been weighing on her down
"Right where are my manners. I am Cecelia, I'm a second year, as you can probably tell." The pink haired girl formally introduced herself and extended a hand.
Reaching out I shook her hand and then said, "Vivy Velvet, a first year."
"Nice to finally make a friend." Cecelia's face made a smile as our hands shook.
Friends. Since when did I say that.
"Did you not make any friends in your first year?" I asked
Cecelia's hand ,which she had just used to shake mine, pointed at the slime on her shoulder whilst she averted her gaze slightly downward.
"Ah" I quietly let out.
"Well, I have you as my first friend so what does that matter." she joyfully said.
--- 300 students left ---
The wrist watch given by the academy buzzed for every remaining student within the Coliseum and stated aloud.
"Why is everyone avoiding this place in particular?" I said as I looked up at Cecelia.
"That's because of me." She responded
"Are you some all powerful student or are they just afraid of your craziness?" My mouth moved again as I looked around at the battling crowd which didn't dare to step an inch closer to us.
"Do you not even know who you're talking to." she continued on, "I am the feared student known for my overwhelming power and speed, the astounding Cecelia the crazy." A slight smile formed on her face as she finished.
"You made that all up. Who would give themselves a name 'the crazy'. " I said.
"Well, I didn't make it myself, of course, the students gave me the name as they thought I'd fit perfectly for me." She shrugged it off and said.
"The crazy though, you could have at least come up with a better name than that."
"Yea that's exactly what I thought when I first heard it, but I kinda grew into it and started to not mind the nam-"
Cutting off Cecelia was a magic explosion as golden strings weaved themselves so high into the sky they reached the edges of the top of the Coliseum walls and then came falling down onto one point.
The array of golden strings hit the ground and slightly shook it as a mini dust cloud formed around the area.
Instantaneously shooting out of the dust cloud was Zenith ,who had shot herself from the battle which was around 5 meters away straight towards me, had landed directly on me. Landing on me Zenith's gold hair covered my vision.
"Vivy, Vivy, Vivy... Vivy." Zenith's child voice awoke me from my bewildered state.
"yes?" I weakly asked.
"I defeated a lot of people." I could almost see Zenith's joyful smile just through the tone of her voice.
"Can you get up off me now Zenith." I politely said with a tinge of annoyance as Zenith's shoulder bone had been sticking into my stomach the entire time.
"Ok." Zenith said
Zenith then continued to, instead of calmly get off me, leap of me with all her might and although the academy did have a barrier that only activated when a certain damage threshold was exceeded.
Now laying on the dirt with the wind knocked out of me by my own friend I questioned Zenith's youthful child mind.
"So is she one of your friends?" Cecelia glanced from me to Zenith and back to me before saying.
"Yes, my only friend." I answered
"Hey, hey. That's not including Crain and um..Noah and Vereta."Zenith proclaimed.
"Are they also first years?" Cecelia said.
"You bet ya." Zenith said.
"Yea. Crain's the red headed boy, Noah's the blonde haired blue eyed girl who's always with him, and Vereta is the black haired girl who's also always with him." I raised myself up from the ground with my hands to support me.
"Does the black haired one tend to read books a lot?" Cecelia asked.
I don't know why she's asking but it doesn't really matter right. It didn't.
"Well now that you say it she does read books a lot especially in classes." I remembered in our first class how she immediately opened and started reading a book after she ended her short chat with me.
"Well then that's probably them." Cecelia point towards a group numbering three people who were all walking towards us.
"Speak of the devil that really is them." I awkwardly said.
"Hey, There you guys are!" Crain shouted at us.
This day never ends, does it.
