A massive Red Gate is right before them, an A-Rank gate, which most of them have never seen in person, most of the students are overwhelmed by fear and begin to panic, some leave the premises, some run back into the building, they start going in different directions.
It is common knowledge that gates leading to a dungeon or another world could appear at any place at any time, but there are always signs before its appearance which helps humans prepare, like flunctuations in the mana density, frequency and gravitational force of a particular spot.
Some gates have appeared on this college grounds before, and since gates can be owned by guilds or colleges, most guilds or colleges tend to keep them, of course these gates have to be raided regularly or a dungeon break could occur if not attended to for seven days, the gates are kept because they contain rare resources like monster hides and minerals like mana stones, they could also be used as training grounds.
Before the appearance of this Red Gate the Binary College were in possession of five gates, one B-Rank (Blue), two C-Rank (Green) and two D-Rank (Yellow), all used for the purpose of training the students. The different ranks of gates also have ranks within them: Low, Mid and High.
Arthur stands before this massive Red Gate about seven meters away having an excited look on his face, Ares comes from behind placing his left hand on Arthur's right shoulder.
"Don't even think of it"
"What do you mean?" Arthur questions looking over his shoulder.
"I know you are thinking of going into that." Ares says.
"Was it that obvious?" Arthur responds with a smile.
"Yh it kinda was" Beatrix says coming from behind.
"Even if you are strong you'd probably not last five hours in there.". She continues.
"You are not strong enough yet" She oddly adds as she looks at Arthur sternly.
The two look at her, confused at why she added that. She looks away back at the gate.
"To be able to successfully clear even a low A-Rank gate you would need at least one S-Rank, five A-Ranks and five top B-Rankers alongside some healers all heavily equipped with top grade specialized armor so as to greatly reduce the chances of casuality". Ares tells.
"Tho one Binary and two S-Ranks could easily clear even a high A-Rank gate". He adds.
"So what makes you think the three of us can't clear this?" Arthur asks with a smile on his face.
"Well for one, no matter how strong you are, I doubt you are any stronger than a top A-Rank professional, and secondly, I and Beatrix are probably only as strong as a top A-Rank cadets or most likely even lower and this doesn't at all look like a low rank Red Gate."
"Do not place me and your weak ass on the same level" Beatrix says to Ares folding her arms.
"Shall we go a round?" Ares asks in annoyance.
"Shall we?" Beatrix responds fiercly.
"Okay okay okay, as much I'd like to see you both go at it, I don't think that would be a good idea right now." Arthur says as he looks in the direction of the gate.
As soon as Arthur makes this statement a man looking his late thirties comes landing directly in front of the gate facing it wearing a black tuxedo having his hands crossed behind his back alongside two other people, a male and a female.
The few students that didn't run away, mostly the third years, all of a sudden have their whole mood of fear change as soon as they see the people that land before them.
"The man in black tuxedo is the Vice Binary College Head, Leonard, he too alongside the Binary College Head are both at the Binary Rank". Ares tells Arthur and maybe Beatrix.
"The other two, the female by his left, Is the General Secretary for this Binary College, Victoria, the man by his right is the Court of Instructors Head of this Binary College, Cain.
Both are S-Rankers, the top of the top". He adds.
"They are strong, and not only just in terms of raw power, but skills and experience, I am confident in my strength but I feel like I'll loose if I clash against one of them".
Tho they wont go unscathed that's for sure" Arthur says with a smile on his face.
"Hahaha… Ya telling me you'll loose to either of these three and you were really thinking of going against my dad?" Ares mocks.
"I never thought of winning against him, obviously, I only wanted to feel his power".
"Well of course you would loose to them, Just cause you might be as strong as an S-Rank cadet doesn't make you as strong as an S-Ranker or rather an S-Rank pro". Beatrix tells Arthur.
"And besides, as I said, even among the S-rankers they are among the top of the top" Ares adds as the three of them look in the direction of the other three flaming with power.
"Where's are the gate maintenance officers?" Cain yells out.
Two men come running holding a tall machine about the height of their shoulders when placed on the ground.
They turn it on and press some buttons and then wait for about ten seconds.
"Its a high level A-Rank gate sir" One of the officers reports to the Vice Binary Head.
"And the time before it's break is... Seven Hours!?" The other officer exclaims.
"What!?" The Head of Instructors exclaims.
"Are you sure your device is working well?" Victoria asks.
"I do not not want to believe so ma" The officer replies.
The Vice Binary Head Speaks.
"Well it was already a suprise that this gate suddenly appeared without any signs, it's breakout time being abnormal shouldn't be a suprise".
He turns around, takes a deep breath and from where he stands with a loud voice, using his mana, he addresses the entire shcool.
"This is the Vice Binary Head speaking.
As most of you are aware, an A-Rank Gate has appeared on our campus and we need to clear it fast since the breakout time is just within seven hours. You may go home, you may leave the campus for safety, but if you want to try this gate gather at the training center right now".
His voice is heard throughout the school, a school having a size of over Seven kilometer square.
Many students leave the school premises, it's an A-Rank gate after all, there was no need for them to risk their lives.
But still a few people stayed, its an A-Rank gate after all, its a rare chance students dont get until they graduate, it was not something they wanted to let go.
They all gather at the reception of the training center, a total number of seven students, and of course, our three musketeers were among this seven.
