"I am Flaire Vander, the first grandchild of Berus Vander, the College Head of this institution and the first child of the Association President Benimaru Vander". She says as she looks at Claire with a look of disgust all over her face.
She says her specialty to be a mage.
Everyone is a little taken aback by this scene.
Claire remains silent with a smile on her face.
"I am Bellion Vander, a first year student and her younger brother and I'm a warrior." The younger sibling says with little interest.
The hall is silent for a moment and Claire steps up again.
"I am Claire, Claire Vander"
This statements suprises everyone except Leonard and the two siblings.
After all Vander was a name that was known throughout Europe.
It was the name of the college head.
"I am a third year student, and a mage" She concludes.
Hoody guy steps up and with a low tone says.
"I am Alexander, a second year, I am also a swordsman"
He ends it there.
"Well then, I think that should do, as we are short on time lets begin to move" Leonard turns around as he begins to walk towards the exit having the students follow behind him.
"Before you go into the gate you all will be given a wrist band that negates a certain amount of damage, it could save your lives so make sure it is equipped at all times". Leonard says to the student as they come out if the Training Center.
"Yes Sir!" They responded.
At this point barricades have been placed around the gate, with special officers, guarding the gate.
They collect the wrist bands from the officials and with the Vice College Head, Leonard at the lead, they all enter the gate.
As they go through the gate and appear at the other end, Leonard says as he turns to look at the children.
"Welcome to your very first…"
"Where are the children!"
He yells out, the other two with him, Victoria and Cain surprised at this question turn to look at where the children are supposed to be, right behind them, but there was no one not even one.
As they were still in shock and Leonard looking really annoyed, a massive snake like monster pops from behind Leonard, it was just about to strike when its head was blown off to nothingness by Leonard with just a wave of his left hand. He looks really pissed and says to the other two, we need to find the children, as son as possible.
The students have just entered the gate looking quite excited but then they don't see their supervisors ahead of them as a huge dungeon with mana orbs lighting the interior unfolds before them.
"Theres no need to worry, they are probably just trying to give us our space so we can hunt with ease". Flaire says.
"No, I can't sense them anywhere at all, we are all alone here". Arthur breaks to them.
"Are you being serious right now?" Ares asks from behind.
"You can check for yourself" Arthur responds.
"Well if you can't sense them theres no way I can"
"Your arrogance knows no bounds huh? You really think if they wanted to hide their presence, the likes of us would be able to track them?" Flaire says fiercely walking towards Arthur.
As she approaches him, a sword is pulled out from thin air and pointed at her neck, stopping her in her tracks as she tilts her head backwards, it was Beatrix.
"Back off" Beatrix warns Flaire with the tip of her sword just a millimeter from the skin of her neck.
Bellion tries to make a move but is stopped by a sword directly in front of his neck.
He looks up and sees Ares holding a sword by his neck.
"Stand down" Ares warns Bellion.
As this is going on, two monsters with female faces and upper body, bearing wings and legs of a bird, a Harpy fly towards them, they all freeze for a moment as they hear the screeching sound of the Harpies but Arthur waves his left hand and blast them off to nothingness.
He looks up and says to them.
" You all seem to have forgotten we are in an A-Rank gate, not just any A-Rank but a high rank one at that, and we are about to fight each other?
We don't have time for this, we need to start moving and hope we find our supervisors on time before we meet our doom."
Beatrix and Ares retract their swords and walk towards Arthur.
"I advise you do well to ensure your safety and not put hopes on our supervisors that are nowhere to be seen" Arthur says looking at Flaire as he turns around saying "Lets go".
Flaire stands silent with a frustrated look on her face.
"Drop it sis, I don't know about that lady, but I for sure can't win against sir Ares". Bellion says to Flaire.
They begin to walk through the dungeon as they slay some low level monsters.
P.O.V – CLAIRE.
I can't believe someone was actually able to silence my proud and stubborn niece.
I am the illegitimate daughter of Berus Vander, the Binary College Head.
Twenty years ago my mum met the College Head at a fun festival, my mum was a retired hunter who retired early due to medical complications from trauma received during a gate raid.
My mum was in her late thirties at that time and still single because she kept declining men advances towards her, they met at a carnival, got interested in each other and kept meeting after then and then got into an affair and a year and a half later I was born.
Unfortunately my mum died not too long after giving birth to me.
She had no family member so the College Head took me in, I stayed in the same compound but separate buildings from Flaire and Bellion.
Tho it wouldn't have been suprising for the College Head to be seeing someone since he lost his wife during a battle against a cult group about forty years ago, I guess since it was just an affair witg some unknown person it was seen as some kind of stain to their name.
I was discriminated against in that compound, though mostly by the personnels that worked there.
Although the two siblings didn't actively treat me poorly, Flaire has always looked at me with disgust, and Bellion has always looked at me with pity.
They are not bad people though, even with the way Flaire treats me I oddly feel like she's always looking out for me, she has even saved my life thrice during low rank gate raids practice.
As I walk along this path having Arthur and the other two ahead of me, Alexander beside me and the two siblings behind, I spot a liitle injured dungeon mice in pain on the ground, they are harmless creatures so I pick it up as I admire it and say to myself.
"Oh what a cute little…"
"Claaiirree!!" I hear Flaire shout my name from behind, as I turn my head to look at her, I see her in the air close to me about to strike me down with a sword.
