"How are you and Alex?" Emily asked, sitting on the same couch with Charlie, facing Caily.
Even after Nathan left, Emily chose to stay a bit longer.
Charlie straightened up, equally curious.
But with the nonchalant expression on Caily's face, they knew they weren't going to get anything from her,
"You guys went home together last night, in his car. And I still see his car parked outs—" Emily didn't get to finish her words because Caily stood up at that moment.
"Where are you going?" Charlie wondered out loud,
"Back to bed," Caily curtly replied and walked away before any of them could say anything else,
Emily gasped with disbelief as she watched Caily disappear from view, "We were in the middle of a very important conversation, Caily. How can you ditch that just to go back to bed! Such a brat!" She snapped,
