Alex paced towards her, "Don't do that, Caily. Please, let me take you home," His gaze softened on her as he took another step towards her,
Caily looked away from his gaze, taking a few steps back away from him. Going home in his car would be less troublesome but it could definitely be more uncomfortable and she didn't want to deal with that.
"Thank you again for your help this morning," Caily feigned a smile and bowed her head mildly, "Goodbye Mr. Thornefield," She then turned to walk away,
"Uh—Doctor Windsor, what are you doing here?" Derek's sudden voice halted her steps.
Caily's features froze, her brows arched in stunned silence, slowly turning to face him.
Seeing the big smile on Derek's face, a soft gasp escaped from her lips. Why was he acting like he was just meeting her for the first time after a long time?
