At this moment, other gaming pods popped open and Boss Bruno and his group rushed toward them, with their red faces burning in anger.
But before they could attack, one after another, all the gaming pods opened.
Jules realized that the trial must be over and all these guys survived the trial without dying.
Boss Bruno paused for a moment, but then he grabbed the nearest guy that came out of the pod by the back of his neck.
He pulled that guy out of the gaming pod and started stomping on him.
Others in the group rushed at other members. Only the vice leader stood there, looking at the scene in confusion.
vice leader Yusif asked one senior member, "What's going on here?"
That senior member stopped stomping on the new guy and stared at the Vice leader. "Vice Leader, how did you survive?"
Yusif tilted his head. "I just joined those guys running in the front. Why?"
As the Vice Leader said, everyone in the group stopped attacking and stared back at him.
Even Boss Bruno released the guy he was holding by the neck and stared at the Vice Leader.
Vice Leader looked around and slapped his head, "Don't tell me you guys stood behind like idiots."
At this, others looked at Boss Bruno. Bruno asked Vice Leader, "Yusif, didn't I tell you to stay in your position? Why did you run away?"
Vice Leader said in a casual tone, "I mean, once those in front of me started running, I thought it would be better to follow them. There on instruction from those guys, right?"
Boss Bruno and Vice Leader Yusif stared at each other.
Even though the boss said nothing, everyone in the group knew he was angry with the vice leader.
Before this drama could increase, Teacher Ron's voice came from the speakers. "Everyone, calm down. I just got a call from the gang head office."
The moment they heard that, everyone in the hall stared at the speaker with fear in their eyes.
Teacher Ron paused for a second. "I believe something unexpected happened at the trial, and you guys also met those guys working for the gang."
Everyone in the gaming hall glanced at each other and nodded their heads.
Teacher Ron continued, "Well, there are a few things I need to announce. First, there will be an important meeting tomorrow morning related to your roles and some other stuff. I advise you to attend this meeting before playing the game."
Before you go out, I want everyone to tell me what grade they got in the trial."
At the mention of grades, Jules saw many people flinching, including Boss Bruno.
Boss Bruno stared at the Vice Leader with an obvious intention for him to speak first.
Vice Leader just shook his head and said to the speaker, "I am Yusif, and I got a C grade."
The moment they heard the Vice Leader's rank, Boss Bruno's and the senior member's faces darkened.
Teacher Ron warned in a deep tone. "I will send all these grades to the main office, so you better not dare to speak lies."
Vice Leader stared at the speaker and said in an indifferent tone, "I am telling the truth!"
There was a few seconds of silence, then Teacher Ron's voice came, "Next."
At this, Boss Bruno stared at the other four who came out of the gaming pod last.
One by one, they spoke their rank. Like Vice Leader Yusif, three of them got a C rank, but then the last guy said, "I got a B rank."
Everyone in the hall stared at that guy.
Jules glanced at Boss Bruno and Vice Leader Yusif. Both of them were staring at the B-rank guy and each other.
He shook his head. Now he was sure that both of them would go for each other. He stopped caring about them and focused back on the members speaking their rank.
As he was at the back, before his turn, he would get to hear almost everyone's grade in the room.
When almost 90% of members said their rank, he got a clear idea of the overall situation in their group.
Around 10 members got C grades, with 3 people even getting B ranks. Then a massive chunk of them got the D grade.
Boss Bruno and a few around him had this D rank.
Then there were a few unfortunate ones that only got an E grade. Interestingly, out of 6 people who got an E rank, 4 of them were senior members who followed Boss Bruno.
Even though no one was saying anything, Jules saw most of them sneakily sneering at the group.
He stopped caring about them and thought about his grades.
There was no way he would reveal his SS grade, but then he had 2 options: either to choose a B grade or a C grade.
In his last life, during the latter part of his first year, there were situations where a few lucky ones got higher grades. This alone made them receive better treatment from others.
In his 5th attempt, he also got a high grade and experienced that treatment, but the problem was this time it was a tricky situation.
After playing the game for so long, everyone in his past life knew the importance of grades and success, but that's not the case for now.
Right now, none of them would care about creating relationships and all that. Instead, they would see B ranks as the guys who would steal their chances.
He was sure that B ranks would also be at the head of the upcoming conflict between Vice Leader and Boss Bruno.
It would be much better to choose a C rank. At the start, he had the same thought, but the problem was the SS rank.
If he chose such a low rank, then chances would be high for someone in the Eagle gang to notice his abnormality.
But a B rank would also lead to unnecessary conflict.
He closed his eyes and thought of A grade. This was a rank that would drag him out of unnecessary conflict, but then the Eagle gang would be on his back.
He clicked his tongue. It was the worst idea.
As he was in his thoughts, he heard 'Next'.
At this, he opened his eyes and saw a few around him staring at him.
Not caring about them, he limped to the front and said with a smile, "I am Jules, and my rank is…"
