Rohan's POV
Diana snuggled closer to me, her lips brushing against my ear. "I'm sorry, Rohan," she whispered. "I was wrong to doubt you."
I turned to her, my eyes searching hers. "It's okay, Diana. I know you're worried."
She kissed me softly, her hands roaming over my chest. I let her, but my mind was elsewhere. I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled over me.
Diana's kisses grew more insistent, her touch more intimate. But I couldn't respond, not when my heart was still reeling from thoughts of Valerie.
"Diana, slow down," I said, trying to gentle her.
But she just laughed, her eyes gleaming with desire. "No, Rohan. I want you. I need you."
I knew I should give in, should let her have what she wanted. But I couldn't, not when my heart wasn't in it.
"Diana, please," I said, trying to push her away.
