JacQuarius and the group were hard at cultivating on an artificial island.
Tela was training his body on the opposite side of the Island.
Kiyomi is training at a secluded part of the island, attempting to enhance her Qi manipulation.
JacQuarius was sparring with Jimmy, training him in combat.
Jimmy was still young, his combat experience was small besides the things his father imparted to him.
But actual experience is something that's learned and cannot be taught.
He also taught Jimmy a skill that he could do to minimize himself and be placed in the storage ring, to ensure his safety.
After all, JacQuarius had to treat Jimmy with his utmost protection.
Jimmy is a Sacred Rank Heaven animal, he is guaranteed to reach Legend Rank when he is fully grown!
Jimmy is currently Gold Rank, he has been Gold Rank since the tournament, and it'll be a while until he grows again.
Kiyomi was the first to break through to Gold Rank.
She had used the last of her cultivation resources, reaching Gold 2nd Layer!
They had been training hard for the past month, they had new trump cards.
JacQuarius and Kiyomi grew even closer, they had the most dual skills and formed an even closer relationship.
Kiyomi was like his therapist, he told her everything and she listened and gave him exquisite advice.
She helped him contain and control his anger problems, and fend off depression.
Despite the calm and demon-like nature he puts on, he is still human. He still had feelings, he thought about his deceased family, his dead best friend, and even Midnight!
He sometimes felt bad for killing Midnight, he didn't even take the time to figure out the full context of Midnight's situation.
What if Midnight was being blackmailed? What if he was being mind-controlled or something by Ian, he didn't take any chances he just flat-out murdered him!
That murder was really taking its toll on him during those late-night thoughts.
Thinking about his deceased family took an even bigger toll on him, he had so many sad thoughts.
What if they were alive now? With his newfound wealth, he could have Timm and his siblings living lavishly like they deserved.
But look what he brought them, death! His dumb ass decisions brought them death.
He thought about that a lot.
He even thought about if Lil Joey was alive, what cultivation level would he be right now.
At times he just wanted to give up and mope in his intense despair.
But he knew he had to persevere!
Timm, his siblings, Lul Joey, and probably even Midnight would want him to persevere and live for their names, making their names known across the world!
He finished his spar with Jimmy and started cultivating.

Ian had just arrived back at the conference room, walking back to the table where Selena, Daniel, and the Diamond Rank were.
"Welcome back Ian, did you get it?"
"Yes, it's been done. I've sent it to Boss, and he'll handle the rest and then return it to us. Let's handle business, what do we do now?"
"We just sit back and wait, did you break through to Gold Rank yet?"
"Not yet, but it's coming soon I can feel it!"
"Then you go cultivate, we'll sit back and wait so we can plan out our next moves precisely. He's more vigilant than I thought, so we have to stay 2-3 moves ahead of him or else it might be a repeat of the last situation. The PSIA has been targeting us as well, they're putting pressure on our remaining businesses, and they're possibly building a RICO case on us."
"If they are, then so what? We have a Diamond Rank with us, the PSIA can't defeat us even if they teamed up with every police department in Japan!"
"No, you idiot. They obviously know our strength. First of all, a RICO is an American set of charges, so you know what that means? That means the PSIA will team up with the FBI, it won't be just the PSIA! The FBI is even more powerful and a lot more corrupt than the PSIA, I wouldn't be shocked if they had a Legend Rank Cultivator. Whoever they send would cause a huge disturbance to our plan, then our organization would have to step in and that would cause even more unnecessary problems."
"Ahhh I get it now. So what do we do then?"
"We sit back and wait, as long as they don't make a move before my plan then we're fine. Let's just continue cultivating and keep an eye out."

2 Days Later Back At Odaiba
Tela had finally broken through to Gold Rank, his strength improved drastically! His stomps now cracked the ground, his earthquake stomp now would be even more monstrous!
JacQuarius had been struggling to break through, his thoughts kept disrupting his cultivation.
The time alone was causing him to have pessimistic thoughts and reminisce constantly.
Everything that's been going on constantly, has been a huge distraction for him, but for now, he had a break, it was both good and bad.

He got a notification from InstaBram, that someone had DM'd him.
He opened up the DM and did not react.
But then he saw the profile picture!
He dropped his phone and burst into tears.
Kiyomi and Tela saw his reaction and immediately came over, they were confused by the situation.
Tela picked up the phone, and was in shock as well!
When he saw the profile picture, he felt JacQuarius's intense pain.
Tears began to fall down Kiyomi's face as well.
The group sat there in a melancholic state, especially JacQuarius.
He was punching the ground and crying, his hand was bleeding and tears were falling down his face expeditiously like a water slide.
He snatched his phone out of Tela's hand and read the message.
It had a link to a news article, the article was explaining that the Kawasaki Family's graves were vandalized!
