His voice, tinged with a lingering pain and sadness, echoed through the hall of mirrors as he called out to the woman. His lips quivered and his eyebrows curved as he looked at her, wondering how it was possible that she was standing right in front of him.
"Catherine...?" Hunter said as he looked at the beautiful woman in front of him.
Catherine stood in front of Hunter, her hands behind her back as she looked at him with a smile on her face. A sweet, wholehearted smile; one he's missed for a very long time.
Hunter's eyes were then filled with tears, then a faint smile formed on his face as he tried walking to Catherine, but his body stopped moving entirely. Then, he fell to the ground and hit his head on the wall, gagging on the impact of his back hitting the stoney wall behind him.
"What... What's going on?!" he shouted as he tried moving his arms and legs, only to be hit by a sharp pain to his chest, arms and legs.
