Eve decided she would talk calmly with the hunters, one by one, before motivating them to get moving. She had a feeling that if she just mindlessly spoke in an encouraging tone, it would only agitate them.
With that thought, she decided to speak to Lily, one of the archers, who seemed quite fond of Hunter. She was also the one who offered him water in the cathedral level and the one Hunter helped back up when she fell after entering the hall of mirrors level.
Eve sat beside her and placed her hand on Lily's, smiling gently at her. Lily looked back at Eve and frowned.
"How are you feeling?" inquired Eve.
"Not okay, that's for sure..." Lily replied.
"Do you wanna talk about it? I'm more than willing to lend you an ear if you'd like."
Lily averted her gaze and looked at the floor. "I lost my parents when I was a kid. A monster devoured them right before my eyes.
