Hunter walked through the seemingly endless hall of mirrors, his hand gripping his reaper so tightly that the skin on his palm began breaking, causing him to bleed as slight irritation set in.
He kept his eyes forward and refused to put his weapon away. His clothes were also drenched in black blood, indicating that he had killed a handful of mimics as he traversed through the hall of mirrors.
It became an endless cycle of him going through the broken mirror sections of the level to him killing the mimics that tried to take the shape of Catherine. Over and over, he raised his black blade and cleaved through the monsters, killing them without a second thought.
In his eyes, he saw Catherine, and although it was difficult for him to kill the monsters as it felt wrong to just slice through the woman he once called his own, he refused to let the fiends take the shape of such a delicate and wonderful being.
