[Congratulations! You have completed all your objectives!]

[System Rosana has allowed you to use Healing]

[System Rosana has gifted you a new spell!]

[System Rosana has successfully healed you]

[System Rosana has gifted you a new spell!]

A green light surrounded Hunter, who was panting and sweating after defeating the dungeon master. His clothes, specifically his shirt, were torn apart and barely recognisable as new. The same was for his pants and shoes.

"Looks like I'll have to get better with combat, unless I want all my clothes to get ruined..." he said to himself as he wiped his face with the bottom of his shirt.

[Good job, Hunter Quinn. Now that you've completed all your objectives, do you wish to- STATIC BUZZ BUZZ]

"System?" Hunter looked at System Rosana and lifted an eyebrow. "System Rosana, what's going on?!"

{A special quest has been added:

- Kill the Diabolic Spider nestlings}

"Huh?! I just killed their mom though! What the hell?!" exclaimed Hunter.

But, his exclamations came to a quick pause as soon as he heard a bunch of quick, large footsteps approaching from inside of the spider's nest. Slowly, Hunter turned his head and witnessed a clutter of spider babies, their height at about 4 feet.

Feeling a little bit anxious, Hunter turned to System Rosana and asked, "Hey. How many eggs can spiders lay on a bad day?"

[Roughly 200 per egg sac. Depending on how large the sac itself really is]

"And on a good day?" Hunter nervously inquired.

[You're looking at about 2,000 for a single sac]

Hunter stared at System Rosana in pure perplexity and shock. He smiled nervously, his mouth arching and twitching with his eyebrows.

"You're telling me I have to kill 2,000 of these spider babies?!" exclaimed Hunter as he pointed at the spiders that soon made their way out of their nest.

[Don't worry. There's only 250 of them here]

"That's still too much for me to handle!"

{Kill the clutter of Diabolic Spiders [000/250]}

'My dagger's still underneath the queen's neck... I think I'll use these chains to fend off these things until I can get it back.'

The Diabolic Spiders charged forward, their screeches reverberating and practically shaking the entire forest as their legs dug deep into the ground. They were fast. So fast that Hunter had to back away in order to create some distance between himself and the spiders.

Hunter successfully used the [Hellhound Chains] and summoned his spikes at the end. After spinning it above him, turning around once and whipping the spiders with the chains, effectively delivering a critical hit to their heads, 10 of them instantly exploded and spewed their blood on the grass.

Surprised but primarily focused, Hunter continued using his chains to successfully whip and kill the Diabolic Spiders. It didn't take long for him to clear out the entire clutter and kill all 250 of them, the system's notification beeping afterwards to congratulate him.

{Kill the clutter of Diabolic Spiders [250/250]}

[Congratulations! You have successfully completed the special quest!]

[Your rewards have been tallied up. Do you wish to view and claim them now or later?]

Hunter looked at his palm and clutched it, opening it seconds after, repeating this until he smirked to himself. He was getting stronger. He could feel it.

'But, by my calculations, this Diabolic Spider Queen wasn't as strong as those dark panthers I fought the other night. Her only advantage was that she had tougher skin and is as tall as a brick shit house.'

[Do you wish to view and claim them now or later?]

'Dungeon masters must increase in power the further you progress. If I had stayed in that tier 4 dungeon any longer, I would've been killed by a god-tier dungeon master...'

[Do you wish to view and claim them now or-]

"Shut up, System Rosana!" exclaimed Hunter. "Actually, how do I get out of here?" he asked with a blank and gentle smile on his face.

[...]

Some time later, the dungeon door opened and Hunter left carrying two bags filled with the loot he recieved from dungeon. He reached the trading desk, greeted the clerk and placed all his goods for him to see. The clerk was surprised and praised Hunter for finding such items.

After the trading and the deduction of his 40% cut that the Hunter Guild would take, Hunter was given $64,000. As he left the guild, he checked his phone and checked the time. Time moves differently in the dungeons.

What he thought was 2 hours of him exploring the area was actually 8 hours, meaning he entered the dungeon at 8am and left at 4pm. He sighed and made his way to the store to get himself some new clothes before returning to his home, the orphanage.

You might be wondering why Hunter is a dungeon diver when he is only 17. As mentioned before, Ian was the strongest hunter in the age group of 15-18. This simply means that hunters are chosen from the tender age of 15 all the way to the age of 60.

But, only one hunter has been able to remain a hunter past the age of 60. He retired at age 67 and built his own hunter academy, where he groomed young minds and taught them how to become successful hunters in the future.

Hunter wasn't given that privilege. As the second eldest out of the children in the orphanage, he was forced to get a job as soon as possible in order to provide the place with food and allow his siblings to go to school. But, no one appreciated what he did for them. No one, except his close friend, Jermaine.

"Even if I present them with a ton of money, the nuns won't let me stay at the orphanage once I'm 18. I need to start looking for a place of my own..."

[Do you understand why the nuns loathe you, Hunter Quinn?]

"Huh? Of course not... But, I'm assuming I did something when I was a baby and they didn't like it," Hunter said as he smirked.

[It is because of your aura]

Hunter was perplexed. 'My aura?'

[Precisely. Some awakened humans possess the ability to sense one's aura. Most nuns are even able to sense the pureness of that aura. You are simply hated because of your bloodline aura. You carry the blood of black magic users afterall, and the nuns are more than capable of sending a murky and dark energy from you]

'I didn't even have that as a kid.'

[You did. It was just sealed within me. The nuns sense a dangerous presence from you. Even though you were only a baby, a child, they still chose to keep their distance. Black Magic was banned for a reason. If you were given proper love and attention, the nuns would've grown attached to you and you would've eventually corrupted them.

That wouldn't have been of your own volition, of course. It is merely the bloodline that you carry that would be the downfall of the nuns]

"... I see. Now it all makes sense... But, there was a single nun who seemed to care about me as a kid. And, I highly doubt that I corrupted her."

[You mean Sister Rose]

"Yeah," said Hunter as he smiled gently. "A woman as holy as her wouldn't become corrupted. There's no way in hell."

[You'd be surprised...]

After reaching the orphanage, greeting the nuns and the children, who simply ignored him, Hunter went to his room and pulled out a laptop. Then, he began searching for places he could rent as soon as possible.

[I never understood why Jermaine would just give away his laptop to you]

"Because he's my friend. And, I said I'd pay him back," replied Hunter. "There we go. It's a one bedroom apartment, but it'll do. Looks like the deposit is only 1,000 bucks too."

[The sooner you move out, the better]

"I agree..."

Hunter shut his laptop and lied on his bed. System Rosana sighed and floated next to him, slightly closer than it would normally float.

[You're going to give them some of your money, aren't you?]

"It's the least I can do. They raised me when they could've thrown me out."

[...]

[You truly are a kind boy, Hunter Quinn. You're even willing to properly thank those that refuse to speak to you or even look you in the eye. Even with the power you hold, you refuse to use it for your own personal gain...]

"Man, I'm hungry... Wonder if everyone would like to have some burgers for lunch. Maybe even pizza for dinner."

[I can't wait to properly meet you, Hunter Quinn]

"Uh. I still haven't viewed my gifts yet..." Hunter said as he smiled gently.

[Then again, I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer...]
