Abandoned Genius Chapter 26 Storming The Village

Loki saw the stats of the Goblin Elite and figured it wouldn't be too hard, all of the goblins are slow in nature so Loki's current plan is to blast his way through since his speed feels twice theirs. However, first Loki plays it safe and continues walking the perimeter to find more smaller groups to take out any reinforcements.

Finding two more groups that are similar and taking them out netting him a total of 21,080 experience bringing Loki to Level 18 before he even starts the real task.

Seeing his stats currently, Loki feels confident that he doesn't need to place his free points and can save them for an emergency.

(Authors Note: As any smart MC, he will be not using stat points throughout the Goblin Village quest unless he needs them)

Feeling his confidence increase, Loki begins heading towards the village gate and grabs the attention of the two goblins guarding it. Fighting two goblins at once was easy enough as it only took 5 minutes to run around and hack and slash with his extreme speed.

Large blue blood splats are all over the front entrance as if a demon was invading, a couple goblins saw Loki and sounded the alarm as 6 more goblins came marching out to take on the intruder. All Loki does is let out a soft breath before spamming all of his spells as large damage numbers hit all of the goblins.

As each spell hit about 3-4 goblins, the ones that got hit by leaf shot were practically on their last legs already, while the ones hit by Stone bullet have at most a bruise due to their defense.

Vying to take out the already injured goblins totaling in 3, Loki uses Vine Grip and immobilizes a healthier goblin to not worry about it.

Rushing in and quickly slashing each injured goblin twice, they fall with a loud thud, as Loki is already back to where he rushed in from, showcasing the difference in speed.

Back in the forest, a storm brews...

The Lord of the Forest once again letting out low guttural sounds as if issuing commands. A dark robed man standing beside it witnessing the power of the one who controls the forest that's a few days from the city.

Hundreds of thousands of red, beady eyes are noticeable all around the Lord of the Forest, all chanting almost at the impending doom that is set to befall Ravenport.

With one more command, the march towards begins...

Finishing off the last few Goblins besides the few that surround the Goblin Elite, Loki is seen still near the gate as they all ended up charging him. With ragged breaths and 7 bottles of mana potions underneath him, Loki reaches level 21!

After fighting 14 more goblins at level 22, he was able to gain enough exp and then some extra. Not bothering to look at his character panel just yet, Loki decides to hurry up and finish his battles and decides to take on the Elite Goblin and his warriors before anything.

'I need to immobilize the Elite at the right time as much possible so I can take on the smaller ones' Loki makes his plan in his head and jumps right at them, running fast with his sword out and flashes past the 2 goblins on the left side of the Elite, and ends up shaving 100 HP from both the goblin swordsmen and tries to bring them further from the goblin elite.

With his movement speed, Loki has been getting better at faster and cleaner attacks, and has been able to attack up to almost 5 times/second and quickly takes out the 2 goblins before the other 2 warriors came to help out with the goblin elite follow right behind.

Finally, using vine grip on the Goblin Elite and only needing about 10 attacks per goblin swordsman, Loki almost takes down both before the goblin elite is freed. However, the Goblin Elite isn't fast enough to get Loki off his soldiers and he finishes off the last goblin, leaving the elite last.

Now, with the Goblin Elite left, Loki decides to pull out all of the tricks and spells, downing one of his last mana potions, spams both Leaf Shot and Stone Bullet while moving a little further away.

With Vine Grip on cooldown still, Loki knows he is still faster and decides to just take out the rest of it's health by another hack and slash moment. Not even a minute later the Goblin Elite falls flat as it was barely even a challenge.

'Well, that was slightly underwhelming, but we'll take the exp' Loki thought to himself as he gets his level up notification for level 22!
