Thud!
Sol ran forward, his footsteps echoing across the empty corridor. When using the power of Hak, not only was he able to release the fire abilities of the Ark race, but his physical attributes were improved considerably due to their demonic lineage.
The one-tailed fox quickly sprang back, to maintain the distance between them as she opened her palms and bright red flames balls erupted above her palms.
"Hak: Fox fire!" She screamed in her melodious voice.
Xiu!
Without hesitation, she tossed both balls of fire at Sol, one after the other. The second followed the first closely to make it harder to dodge even after escaping the first.
"Hmph!" Sol snorted disdainfully.
He knew all about leg weight distribution, which he learned during his boxing training days. By placing his weight on the right leg, he propelled himself to the left, skillfully moving away from the path of the first red fireball and revealing the second.
'Shit!' Sol frowned, knowing he didn't have enough time to regain his footing and evade.
Gritting his teeth, he punched forward with his fiery fist, meeting the ball of red flames directly.
Bang!
Since he didn't have a footing, the explosion from the clash threw him back, and he fell on his butt.
Bam!
Sol fell, his body aching, but the sound of frantic footsteps eagerly approaching made him ignore the pain and sit up. He looked up and saw the fox spirit running on the ceiling at a terrifying speed.
"This bitch!" Sol cursed as flames surrounding his fist lit up.
"Hak!" He roared as he threw both hands forward, releasing a stream of flames in hopes of getting the fox spirit to retreat, but she had no intentions of doing that.
Kicking herself off the wall, she sped towards the stream of fire with bright red flames blazing around her hands.
"Hak!" she growled as she threw hands forward, tearing through Sol's stream of flames as she descended.
Bam!
"Aaaah!" Sol felt her knee strike his chest, causing him to scream in pain while trying to reach for her.
Pa!
However, before he could get a hold of her, she grabbed his hands and pushed them down, pinning them to the ground while her tail sped forward stabbing into his right shoulder.
Puff!
"Gaaah!" Sol screamed in pain, his body shivering as he felt suffocating.
Suddenly, the terrifying image of the fox spirit was replaced with his final moments in his private jet as a human.
The wings of the plane had burst into flames, and he could see it from the window. He fastened his seat belt, his body shivering, and suddenly the entire room felt suffocating.
Turbulent sounds rang loudly as the pilot struggled to keep the plane afloat. Even with all his money, prestige and status, he felt powerless at that very moment.
That was a feeling he never wished to experience again.
"HAAAAAKKKKKK!" Sol roared like a wandering beast as his body shone brightly with orange light, his body heating up at a tremendous speed.
'What?' the fox spirit gasped in shock but could barely react in time.
Boom!
She was blown away and hurled about five meters back, her body diffusing out black as she skidded across the floor. Her body was riddled with light burn wounds and the scent of burning flesh filled the room.
"Pathetic." She heard, prompting her to look up.
Sol slowly rose to his feet, his hair disheveled and covering his eyes. He was still the same person, but she could feel his presence had changed drastically.
"For how long will you be helpless in the face of death?" Sol mumbled as he staggered back and forth.
Buzzz!
The torches lined up across the corridor walls suddenly lit up, burning excessively bright, their flames rose high reaching the ceiling.
"What?'' the fox spirit muttered in shock, her body shuddering in fear for the first time.
The ability to force a reaction out of a body of fire outside Sol should be impossible and be restricted to only Ru Naestros, balance types. He had revealed the powers of a battle type earlier, so seeing the signs of a balance type left her deeply confused and scared.
"What the hell is he?" She muttered in fear as she quickly sprang to her feet.
"A Hybrid, how is that possible?" She couldn't help but think. "Is this why the matriarch wanted him dead at all cost?"
Thud!
The fox spirit was forced out of her reverie as she heard the sound of Sol's heavy footsteps. She looked up and saw him barely a meter away, with his fist raised over chin and a blank expression.
'Dangerous!' She shivered involuntarily before throwing a right hook.
Swoosh!
Sol ducked under her hand while throwing a powerful left hook, landing a resounding liver shot with his fiery fist.
Bang!
The fox spirit squinted in pain, staggering backward while throwing rapid jabs, but Sol weaved his way through the jabs using the peek-a-boo style as he chased.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
The fox spirit endured the series of blows smashing into her face as Sol skillfully evaded every attack thrown at him.
'What sort of fighting style is this?' she cried out in her head.
Her vision was getting blurry with each attack, the smoke from the brightly burning torches made it harder to breath. It felt like Sol was dragging her into the depths of hell.
Bang!
She missed her step back, twisting her ankle as she fell on a knee.
"WAI…"
PA!
Sol didn't let her speak and quickly grabbed her face tightly, a crazed grin spreading across his face.
Thud!
At that moment, Chamberlain. Instructor Ethan and Instructor Devon ran into the corridor just to see a girl on her knees with Sol standing over her. Her white fox tail, caught their attention, leaving them stunned.
"A fox spirit?' Chamberlain muttered in shock.
"When you get to the nether realm, tell the Nether Lord I will be sending your entire race his way soon!" Sol said before shoving her away, causing her to fall on her back, but a strange fiery imprint was smeared into her once beautiful face.
Snap.
"Hak: Ignite!" Sol snapped his fingers and the fox spirit was engulfed in fierce flames.
The flames of the torches burnt even brightly as cries of the fox spirit resounded across the room, while Sol stood over her scorching corpse with a blank expression.
"Burn away."
