(Ryuji's Pov)
Robert constantly tried to hit me with blizzards but I negated all of his attacks, he came near me and stretched his hand and palm. Before he could summon the ice rock, I had swung my staff horizontally from left to right with dark enhancement. He was pushed back but he didn't falter as he still held his hand like that and launched the ice rock from the magic circle with high length.
"It's too late to use it though..." I said in a calm tone.
"Hm?....Huh!?"
He looked above and saw the ring of darkness that let dark arrows came through it downwards and destroyed the ice rock before it could even reach the half distance.
"Ugh....!"
The dark arrows also gave damages to Robert as well. However, he caught me off guard when struck me with an attack from the floor where the ice spikes emerged. I was sent in upwards direction.
